Matt D
One thing I can definitely say is that Bryan works the apron better than Nicholas.
sek69
Raw getting absolutely pantsed in the draft is not a thing I was expecting to happen. There must be something related to their TV contract promising to make SD must-watch TV (like they did when it moved to USA and wanted to give big ratings for the debut there) to warrant taking a big steamy dump on their flagship like that. Jmare007
Unless they move Roman to SD, the political hit is 100% confirmed. He's on a sunken ship feuding with someone who jumped to the other brand and seems so fucked up that he can't even wrestle. Oh for fucks sakes if more popular people went to RAW the "political hit" would be that Roman was given people that are more over than him to work with so he could get more rejected than ever and fail as the main champ
WingedEagle
If Bryan can make Cass look serviceable, I'm going to swap his name in for Moses at Passover next year.

sek69
Also I'm sure WWE will run it into the ground because that's what they do, but Truth and Tye as comedy pairing sounds like it could have potential.

Matt D
Let's not feud Bryan with the still-quasi-green guy with the big boot? I mean just saying.

He might be taking some time off after Backlash, if he goes 0-2 there. He is going to cut promos to a booing crowd saying how things are going to be different, and that's it. Is that good booking, my dude?

Not saying Cass is great, but his WWE singles career was basically working with Enzo. We don't exactly have enough evidence to put him in Sheamus territory yet. Is that good booking, my dude? It's horrible booking. Horrible and incompetent booking is a staple of WWE for 90% of the stuff they do. It does not mean there's a political hit. It that were the case, more than half the roster suffers from it.
sek69
I can see Vince thinking "if we move everyone the fans like to Smackdown, NOW they have to cheer Roman goddammit!"
Slasher
Vince is supposedly high on Jinder Mahal and Baron Corbin so that's two opponents for Roman Reigns that nobody has to worry about getting over on Roman.
SomethingSavage
Sounds like the tail end of 2015 all over again. I mean, yeah. Nobody was about to cheer an ice cold Sheamus. But also, nobody gave a single solitary shit about an ice cold Sheamus. So, even if the matches were great, nobody really cared. A new level of apathy awaits us with any kind of a Roman/Corbin or Roman/Jinder feud. That much is assured.
Loss
Meanwhile, Smackdown has three really strong babyfaces (Styles, Bryan, Hardy) who have mountains of heels to take on in singles, tags, and six-mans.
ZThomas
Hasnt Vince learned about putting Brywn against one of his Ideal guys? They got about 6 more months before his contract is up. So many batter pairings for him and you choose Cass, Corban is way better fit that Big Cass right now.
Strummer
I think with Raw the idea might be Ronda is a big enough star to carry the brand on her own. Her segment last night got the most views on YouTube despite not featuring any other main event acts (Mandy, Sonya, Nattie)
C.S.
Hasnt Vince learned about putting Brywn against one of his Ideal guys? They got about 6 more months before his contract is up. Why is this still a belief? There's no way they didn't have Bryan sign a new multi-year contract.
Johnny Sorrow
I skipped all the SD posts, but I just started watching RAW. I far prefer the idea that the GMs negotiate the trades to when they did the Its Random! gimmick.

Superstar Sleeze
You know, I could actually do with a Jeff Hardy WWE Title run. Been saying that since last Mania! Hope we get one
Superstar Sleeze
I thought Asuka was already from SDL ever since she declared her interest on fighting Charlotte, so not sure what's the big surprise here. Hope we get Nikki Cross in this division, too. Also, DB vs Cass sounds like a good feud. As long as Cassidy doesn't give Bryan a concussion, it sounds pretty good on paper. ALSO ALSO: I'm sick and tired of Charlotte. She beat the entirety of the Riot Squad and is on her way on beating both the Iconics and Absolution. Fuck that shit. The Riott Squad was terrible. Looked like low-rent Mickey Mouse jobbers.
Superstar Sleeze
I will happily eat crow. Tonight was a helluva Smackdown. We got three Smackdowns last year in New England, this one destroyed those by a country mile. Amazing show! Smackdown is so loaded. Watching the GOATs team up live was incredible. Seeing AJ wrestle live is always a treat but my God a Daniel Bryan hot tag! Samoa Joe is such a great promo, Benjamin vs Jeff Hardy was better than it should be. Did "This is Awful" chants during the Charlotte make TV? They finally found a worse chant than "This is awesome". Charlottes chops have improved leaps & bounds. Great heeling from Peyton. They could have not gone back to the armbar so much. It was a mediocre match calling it awful is a gross overstatement.
