Loss
I have some NOAH vs NJPW Box Set from the 2002-2003 feud and wanted to include one of the better Liger or Kikuchi tags. Anyone have a recommendation for which one would be the best one? I'd provide a match list of the box set to give a starting point, but I can't seem to find one on the Internet. Hopefully, the best stuff is among what I have.

Never did end up getting it mind you, and I'm not sure why. Â As for which Kikuchi vs Liger tag I'd recommend, well it's been a while since I've seen the tags, but at the time the August match Bix mentioned was the one I remember really standing out as being the clear best. Maybe the others were better than I remember them being (which may in turn be a good reason to get the set), but that was the one I remember really loving. Loss
That's the set. That's exactly what I was looking for. Thanks!
Loss
It looks like I'm going to be going with a tag team theme this time. Every match will be a tag match, representing as many eras/styles/promotions as I possibly can. Â Any non-wrestling stuff included will also be tag team centric. Â I know the matches I want to use, but am unsure at this point if they're all going to fit. I will post a match list when I know for sure. Loss
Okay, so I thought about it, and if it's too many matches, I'll just make two discs. No extra charge. It's the holidays, and it's taken longer than it should have from this set to the next one, so consider this my apology. Here are the matches I'm looking at. They won't be in this order, though. Â Whenever I do a six-man theme, World Class will finally make its debut on this set. Since the DVDVR Mid South set is coming out soon, I won't step on it here. Â If all this won't fit on two discs, however, some cuts will have to be made. Â Dory & Terry Funk vs Abdullah the Butcher & The Sheik - AJPW Real World Tag League Final 12/13/79 Roddy Piper & Rick Martel vs Buddy Rose & Ed Wiskowski - Portland 05/31/80 Ric Flair & Dewey Robertson vs Roddy Piper & Jimmy Snuka - Mapleleaf Wrestling 05/15/81 Rick Martel & Tito Santana vs Greg Gagne & Jim Brunzell - AWA 07/18/82 Stan Lane & Jackie Fargo vs Moondogs - Memphis 05/09/83 Adrian Adonis & Dick Murdoch vs Tatsumi Fujinami & Kengo Kimura - NJPW 12/08/84 Rock & Roll Express vs Ivan Koloff & Krusher Kruschev - NWA 07/09/85 Riki Choshu & Yoshiaki Yatsu vs Jumbo Tsuruta & Genichiro Tenryu - AJPW 01/28/86 Jerry Lawler & Dutch Mantel vs Bill Dundee & Buddy Landell - Memphis 03/22/86 (Texas Death Match) Jerry Lawler & Bill Dundee vs Original Midnight Express - AWA 10/30/87 Lex Luger & Barry Windham vs Arn Anderson & Tully Blanchard - NWA 04/20/88 Midnight Express vs Fantastics - NWA 04/26/88 Mitsuharu Misawa & Toshiaki Kawada vs Jumbo Tsuruta & Akira Taue - AJPW 09/30/90 Barry Windham & Dustin Rhodes vs Steve Austin & Larry Zbyszko - WCW SuperBrawl II 02/29/92 Kenta Kobashi & Tsuyoshi Kikuchi vs Doug Furnas & Dan Kroffat - AJPW 05/25/92 Manami Toyota & Toshiyo Yamada vs Dynamite Kansai & Mayumi Ozaki - AJW Dream Rush 11/26/92 Eddy Guerrero & Art Barr vs El Hijo del Santo & Octagon - AAA 11/05/93 Rock & Roll Express vs Heavenly Bodies - SMW Bluegrass Brawl 04/01/94 (Loser Leaves SMW Cage Match) Jushin Liger & Minoru Tanaka vs Yoshinobu Kanemaru & Tsuyoshi Kikuchi - NOAH 08/29/02 Mistico & Negro Casas vs Mephisto & Averno - CMLL 04/14/
Tim Evans
Is that LGL/Santo Octagon the match from WWC? You should include the tag title one instead. Just to see Eddie get pissed at a drunk and drugged Octagon. Â Express/Bodies is really really good. And i'd put Santo/Casas vs Mephisto/Averno. Loss
It's not the one from WWC. It's the one from the year before, the 40-minute tag from television.
Jack_Briscoe_Is_My_Hero
I have heard about Randy Savage and Bobby Eaton doing 60-minute Broadways in Alabama in the 70s. If there is footage I couldn't image it being bad! Â Also The Mulkeys and MX could be awesome. I don't know if its true but read the MX tried to bring a ***** match with the Mulkeys. Would be good. Â And yes WWC is most certainly needed. As my knowledge is next to nothing on PR. Â Oh and some Jack Briscoe would be nice
JHawk
Windham's turn on Luger and the Midnight Express-Fantastics US Title change? I haven't seen either of those since they aired! I am so there!

MikeCampbell
If you're still taking suggestions, Loss, I'll throw in the Midnight Express vs. Fantastics from 4/26/88 (The Fants U.S. Tag Title win)
Tim Evans
Yeah if we are taking suggestions, I nominate PG13 vs Rock N Roll Express from Louisville USWA Night to remember 1995. That match is so great.
anarchistxx
One of those Lightning Kid/Jerry Lynn matches, haven't seen them in years. Â Or Yokota/Galactica 01/85, enough to get anyone into Joshi.
Kronos
Or Yokota/Galactica 01/85, enough to get anyone into Joshi. I second Jaguar -- I am into joshi but just getting into her, and she rules. Â What about a match from that PWFG promotion Will was recently pimping?
jdw
Put one of those Portland Buddy Rose matches on that you were pimping, Will. I think most folks have seen the Bob vs Buddy MSG match, so something from Portland would be better. A good 2/3 fall tag match. It's good tease for the later DVDVR set, and isn't exactly giving away the farm since there's so much more to come. Â Also perhaps something to tease the El Hijo Del Santo set. Perhaps Santito vs Panther in England, or one of the great, lesser known matches. Â If you do these maybe every other month (6 a year) or every quarter (4 obviously), it's not a bad place to drop in some tastes of things that are either topical or sets that are coming out. Â John
Log
Perhaps Santito vs Panther in England YES! YES! YES! Always wanted to see this.
goodhelmet
GLad that #3 generated enoughinterest to do a #4. Loss sent me a ton of stuff to choose from for #4. However, keep suggestions coming so we can use them in future editions.
Guest MarkGotch
I dont know if any footage exists, but in the Bruno Sammartino shoot interview he said he once wrestled a 1 hour draw with Gorilla Monsoon.... I'd buy a ticket to see that..
