El-P Posted February 19, 2022 Report Posted February 19, 2022 Yeah, it's insane he worked for so long at that ridiculous level while being so banged up. Vertigo, for fuck's sake. Quote

Vertigo, for fuck's sake. Shane Douglas whose body basically imploded in 1998 last week talked about Kenny and his well-meaning concerns. Quote
sek69 Posted February 19, 2022 Report Posted February 19, 2022 Kenny needs to just encase his body in ice for six months to let everything heal. At least he made it clear he didn't want to come back only to leave again so he's going to take the time to fully heal (or as close as you can get to that in wrestling) before trying to return. He also pretty much confirmed what everyone else was thinking by stating the EVPs all had their own visions for things and while his and the Bucks were in the same ballpark, Cody's really wasn't. KawadaSmile Posted February 20, 2022 Report Posted February 20, 2022 He did say that the Bucks and him never wanted to take shots at WWE which is just a fucking lie, too! However, suffering from vertigo due to in-ring injuries is something absurd. Dude needs to take probably over a year off from wrestling. Quote

Cody was way more overt, but you could create a drinking game with the amount of times Omega referred to "that place" with a perpetual sneer. Quote
Loss Posted February 20, 2022 Report Posted February 20, 2022 That interview was outstanding. Everyone should listen to the whole thing. Quote
MoS Posted February 22, 2022 Report Posted February 22, 2022 Hope he is okay and hope that he does in fact leave AEW and pro wrestling, cuz he sucks at it Quote

El-P Posted February 23, 2022 Report Posted February 23, 2022 I wonder if TK's next big announcement has something to do with a streaming service. Or using ROH as a farming system. Or both. Quote
Jmare007 Posted February 24, 2022 Report Posted February 24, 2022 Mike Johnson is reporting that Cesaro is gone from WWE as his deal has expired and no deal was made to renew it. Oh boy, if there's one guy that could have a ridiculous run on the level of Danielson and Punk.... Quote
KawadaSmile Posted February 24, 2022 Report Posted February 24, 2022 Give me Cesaro vs Darby you COWARDS Quote
sek69 Posted February 24, 2022 Report Posted February 24, 2022 Keith Lee, Hobbes, and Cesaro in a freaky test of strength challenge! BOOK IT COACH! Quote

Even better, Claudio, one of the best (if not THE best) bases wrestling has ever seen working with even crazier highflyers than in the 2000's? My god. Quote
Gramsci Posted February 24, 2022 Report Posted February 24, 2022 He could debut at Revolution as a surprise participant in the ladder match. He has no non-compete clause. Quote
strobogo Posted February 24, 2022 Report Posted February 24, 2022 Coffin drop countered with an uppercut that sends Darby out of the arena Quote
sek69 Posted February 24, 2022 Report Posted February 24, 2022 Cesaro seeing that there's a "how far can you toss a motherfucker" contest going on in AEW and wanted to get in on that action. Quote
KawadaSmile Posted February 24, 2022 Report Posted February 24, 2022 Him doing the UFO to Fenix is gonna be some glorious shit, bubbas. He was one of WWE's finest TV workers (only Sheamus and Rey were besting him in that regard) and now he has plenty of new opponents. He 100% has a GOAT level TNT Title run in him. Quote
sek69 Posted February 25, 2022 Report Posted February 25, 2022 Word came out that AEW picked up the option on Brian Cage, which is odd since everyone assumed they were going to part ways. Maybe they are planning a Hoss-erweight division? Quote
strobogo Posted February 25, 2022 Report Posted February 25, 2022 Brian Cage isn't a good hoss, though. Quote
KawadaSmile Posted February 25, 2022 Report Posted February 25, 2022 My guess is that TK just wanted to re-sign with Christian Cage and made a blunder. Quote
NintendoLogic Posted February 25, 2022 Report Posted February 25, 2022 They wanted to keep him from controlling his narrative. Quote
KawadaSmile Posted February 25, 2022 Report Posted February 25, 2022 The question is: out of spite or out of pity? Quote
