sek69 Posted May 25, 2019 Report Posted May 25, 2019 Jungle Boy should be a huge white meat babyface to draw the young girls. Quote
hammerva Posted May 25, 2019 Report Posted May 25, 2019 Janela going neck first into the table is just disgusting. Even Luchasauras was worried he fucked up seriously You know MJF winning isn't the worst idea. Although if that does happen then I figure Omega is winning Quote
sek69 Posted May 25, 2019 Report Posted May 25, 2019 Still have no use for Havoc, but I suppose him and Dreamer can staple gun each other to their heart's content. Quote
Ricky Jackson Posted May 25, 2019 Report Posted May 25, 2019 So I guess starting a specific thread for this show was a waste of time. Savages Quote
Mad Dog Posted May 25, 2019 Report Posted May 25, 2019 Luchasaurus has looked like an absolute star in this thing. Quote

sek69 Posted May 25, 2019 Report Posted May 25, 2019 Considering Page was supposedly facing Pac until like a week ago, this is apparently AEW's first Plans Change moment. Quote
Badlittlekitten Posted May 25, 2019 Report Posted May 25, 2019 Watching this on ITV. That was fine but it hasn't sold me on the show. Hope they follow up with a good singles match. Quote
Badlittlekitten Posted May 25, 2019 Report Posted May 25, 2019 Okay this backstage segment is terrible. Stop giving me TNA vibes AEW! Quote
hammerva Posted May 25, 2019 Report Posted May 25, 2019 So that is what the "librarian" gimmick is supposed to be? That isn't going to work Quote
FMKK Posted May 25, 2019 Report Posted May 25, 2019 Yeah, serious promos to sell the matches would be better than skits at this juncture. This Dustin vs Cody video is good stuff though. I hope they can have a nice heated match that's maybe a bit more old school than others on the card. Quote
Mad Dog Posted May 25, 2019 Report Posted May 25, 2019 My friend is there and says the merch is almost all gone. Quote
goodhelmet Posted May 25, 2019 Author Report Posted May 25, 2019 Use the PPV thread. Will unlock this tomorrow. Quote
Loss Posted May 26, 2019 Report Posted May 26, 2019 Unlocking the thread, which can now be for non-Double or Nothing discussion related to AEW. However, since AEW is now a major promotion, I encourage you all to start new threads for specific items of interest instead of turning this into another megathread. Quote
Loss Posted May 26, 2019 Report Posted May 26, 2019 It's amazing to me how much WWE does in a calculated way to get positive media coverage that doesn't or can't hold a candle to this tweet: Quote

There is absolutely nothing WWE could do -- or probably would permit, for that matter -- to organically grab this kind of attention. I've got one match last on Double or Nothing and will add my likely incredibly redundant thoughts (haven't checked the thread yet) once I get there and back from dinner. Quote
FMKK Posted May 26, 2019 Report Posted May 26, 2019 AOC being All In is really odd and remarkable. WWE should lean hard in the other direction simply for my own amusement and have Vince call Donald to do a tweet about the Saudi show. Quote
C.S. Posted May 26, 2019 Report Posted May 26, 2019 That is incredible. That is the kind of publicity that money can't buy and WWE's money will never be able to buy. BTW, I'm glad Loss posted it, because I thought I was following AOC and I'm not. (Maybe I am on Facebook and not Twitter? Regardless, fixed now.) Quote
FMKK Posted May 26, 2019 Report Posted May 26, 2019 Mark Henry was the one asking the question btw Quote

Gotta love Cody with "We're not gonna make a PR element out of it." BTW. Quote

Mad Dog Posted May 26, 2019 Report Posted May 26, 2019 I hope they have a streaming option for the next couple of shows. I would pay $10-$15 for some of the house shows if there are interesting matches. Also been mulling over some of the shirts. I think I am going to get a normal AEW logo one and an AEW is Jericho shirt. Quote

Need to see that Dustin match just in case he does actually retire. Quote
sek69 Posted May 27, 2019 Report Posted May 27, 2019 Has it been mentioned anywhere if Dustin is going to be a coach/producer/agent/whatever? He's a guy that needs to be around in some capacity when the day comes where he does finally retire. Quote
