Strummer Posted February 27, 2019 Report Posted February 27, 2019 Yeah I didn't even mean that as a negative or anything just an observation of what seems to be going on. this show showing the Cousin Bruce influence??
hammerva Posted February 27, 2019 Report Posted February 27, 2019 Well pulling Kofi from the match is good IF it ends up being Kofi vs Bryan at Wrestlemania. If it is still not then I don't get it at all. Although the other good thing is that for now it eliminates the rumor of the New Day breaking up and Kofi vs Big E at Wrestlemania
Strummer Posted February 27, 2019 Report Posted February 27, 2019 Three times now Vince has removed someone from a major title match in the last 2 months. Braun, Becky and Kofi
KawadaSmile Posted February 27, 2019 Author Report Posted February 27, 2019 The fact that it was done in such an explicit manner kinda tells me they have bigger things for Kofi. I'd expect them to save the Kofi/Bryan match for Wrestlemania.
peachchaos Posted February 27, 2019 Report Posted February 27, 2019 Shaping up to be another exciting night of wrestling TV from WWE. I'm getting a little worried here actually.

KawadaSmile Posted February 27, 2019 Author Report Posted February 27, 2019 Holy fuck this Triple Threat started at 500mph

...TG Posted February 27, 2019 Report Posted February 27, 2019 R-Truth is 47 and Rey is 44 and tonight they both look like they're 25.
peachchaos Posted February 27, 2019 Report Posted February 27, 2019 Hopefully we get a PPV match between Rey and Andrade.

Strummer Posted February 27, 2019 Report Posted February 27, 2019 Charlotte didn't seem that concerned with her dad getting beaten to a pulp last night at all

Agree 100%, I'd say that match is a lock at Mania with a decent chance Kofi wins. 7 minutes ago, Strummer said: Charlotte didn't seem that concerned with her dad getting beaten to a pulp last night at all Of course not. As a proper heel she's busy flying jets, riding limousines and taking dudes to space mountain.
KawadaSmile Posted February 27, 2019 Author Report Posted February 27, 2019 Are you fucking kidding me that the Stone Cold Stunner is KO's new finisher?

Not much better evidence of the modern world's state of terminal decline than our professional wrestlers go from Stone Cold Steve Austin to Kevin Owens.
KawadaSmile Posted February 27, 2019 Author Report Posted February 27, 2019 Credit to KO, he looks to be in his NXT shape. Not sure if it'll take long before he gains all the weight back, but he's looking good, moving gingerly and shit.
peachchaos Posted February 27, 2019 Report Posted February 27, 2019 Owens looked good but that whole segment felt like it was building to him turning on Kofi. That's not exactly what I want, but now he just looks like Kofi's equal. It will be interesting to see if this kills Kofimania at all or they're being smart and all of this will just keep him hot until Mania.
sek69 Posted February 27, 2019 Report Posted February 27, 2019 I'm not sure how to handle living in a world where WWE actually goes with a hot hand and doesn't work hard to cool them off quickly. I feel like I need to sit down and have a glass of water.
Makai Club #1 Posted February 27, 2019 Report Posted February 27, 2019 SD last night was actually pretty fun. The opening segment sit all the notes. Kofi l's entrance, Bryan's facials, KO being added. It all hit superbly. The Hardys return was neat. Matt looks in great shape. The triple threat was wild. Really fast paced. Truth's promo before was hilarious - he definitely made John Cena proud. Almas vs Rey looks like the program going into WM. Charlotte's promo was forgettable but eh. The main event was pretty good. Was expected KO to attack Kofi at the end but they can do that some other time.

Speaking of which, any news from Conrad about this ? So, here goes Matt Hardy's retirement. How long did that one last ? Trve pro-wrestler, he is. At this point, they should just give the title to Kofi at Fastlane and have Bryan take it back at Mania and go on his merry way.
FMKK Posted February 27, 2019 Report Posted February 27, 2019 Matt Hardy fake retiring just to get out of teaming with Bray Wyatt is excellent carry behaviour

KawadaSmile Posted February 27, 2019 Author Report Posted February 27, 2019 IIRC Willie Mack even had some of Austin's mannerisms in LU. But still, I recall KO doing the stunner at the 2017 Rumble, which was in Texas. Good on him on making that his finisher.
NintendoLogic Posted February 27, 2019 Report Posted February 27, 2019 The problem is that Austin is such an iconic figure and the stunner is so closely identified with him that anyone else who uses it is going to come across as lesser in comparison.
