KrisZ Posted June 28, 2010 Report Posted June 28, 2010 What kills me is that he typed that yet him & Chico have been burying WWE lately for making wins & losses meaningless since everyone trades victories. Quote
Cox Posted June 28, 2010 Report Posted June 28, 2010 For me, buying into that statement actually sort of makes MMA seem fairly haphazard and pointless.I know somebody who has not gotten into MMA for precisely the reason that MMA seems fairly haphazard and pointless. Quote
Death From Above Posted June 28, 2010 Report Posted June 28, 2010 I'm not really sure that above statement is particularly controversial. If two fighters of relatively ballpark skill fight (or two teams of relatively equal skills play a game etc) it's not out there to think no one is going to win more than 7/10 without a lot of luck. I'm not sure if it applies to Fedor as much given his career arc being as dominant as it has been, but the general idea isn't saying anything sports fans didn't already know. Quote
Boondocks Kernoodle Posted June 28, 2010 Report Posted June 28, 2010 Babinsack just published a review of that Maria shoot, hopefully to be later included in Pro Wrestling Intellectual II, and  Well, that lack of mainstream viability is also important for the most mainstream attention the association with the WWE has likely ever had, short of the upcoming Bruno Sammartino movie, as former WWE CEO and wife of Vincent Kennedy McMahon, Linda McMahon, is running for United States Senate in the State of Connecticut. Which would also leads me to the lawsuit filed by the late Owen Hart’s wife, Martha, but I’ve digressed too far as it is. OK, I know Bruno and The Sack are BFFs but come on. Quote
Bix Posted June 28, 2010 Report Posted June 28, 2010 Seriously, it's not like there's even a screenplay yet.  Also:  This time, the insanity is toned down, and I don’t say that simply because I found myself named as one of the question providers.SHUT THE FUCK UP YOU FUCKING FUCK. Now, to be clear, this is not a DVD for children, as they do discuss locker room antics and situations, gossip and Playboy (with a pin the head on the body game,) as well as typically racy stuff from the YouShoot archives of standard questions and word play.Who exactly would be getting a shoot interview DVD for children? For fuck's sake... Quote
Hollinger. Posted June 29, 2010 Report Posted June 29, 2010 Is there a place to download the Maria shoot? I'm not paying for that shit. Quote
Bob Morris Posted June 29, 2010 Report Posted June 29, 2010 Ok, the Cyndi Lauper question Babinsack asked is one of the nuttiest things I've ever read. Â Just from what little I observed here about Babinsack, he's clearly the Vince Russo of WO.com. Quote
Wahoos Leg Posted June 29, 2010 Report Posted June 29, 2010 I'm not sure who's worse. I think Babinsack, because you can tell by his writing style he thinks he is writing something complex and thoughtful. Â Instead, it comes out as the gibberish of a limited mind with barely functional writing skills. Quote

sek69 Posted June 29, 2010 Author Report Posted June 29, 2010 From Todd Martin's latest Raw recap:   Nexus was backstage minus Wade Barrett, who apparently has visa problems. Nexus is now starting to resemble NWA if Eazy, Cube and Dre all left. They’ve pushed the angle so strong they of course should keep it going, but these six guys in a main event angle are among the ten worst on the entire Raw roster. Skip Sheffield attacked a production assistant. So the guy who claimed to not know what the A-Team was, and mocked every 80s pop culture reference WWE ever makes, is now familiar with the lineup of NWA.  I'm guessing he looked it up on Wikipedia before writing his recap. Strummer Posted June 29, 2010 Report Posted June 29, 2010 Todd has mentioned before that he is a big hip hop/rap fan  I find that rather amusing Quote

Guest The 3H's Posted June 30, 2010 Report Posted June 30, 2010 NWA and The Posse was indeed underrated. Â However take Dre, Eazy, and Cube away from NWA, I still think Ren and Yella could give you some great music, maybe at least 3 four and half mic albums. Ren was always the best out of the group in my opinion, until Cube went solo and was able to show how important he was to the group . I would go as far as to say N4L was their best album and it was without Cube. This was an album made with Dre and Eazy at each others throat, and Ren was still able to carry the load on the lyrical side of things. Even during the beef, neither side had anything to say bad about Ren, Dre even shouted him out while dissing Eazy. Quote
