flyonthewall2983 Posted February 1, 2023 Report Posted February 1, 2023 Rock seems obvious because WM is in LA, but there are clearly other factors that have to come into play for it to happen. Namely if he feels it’s time to do it, and retire or just go on and end on a less bombastic note. Quote
SirEdger Posted February 1, 2023 Report Posted February 1, 2023 Batista is also an obvious choice. Let's not forget he originally turned down his HOF induction during the pandemic because he wanted fans to be able to attend his induction. Quote
C.S. Posted February 1, 2023 Report Posted February 1, 2023 Speaking of the WWE HOF, Bob Ritchie (AKA Kid Rock) is a certified piece of shit. https://www.indiewire.com/2023/01/pamela-anderson-kid-rock-flipped-out-over-borat-cameo-1234805650/ Quote
JRH Posted February 1, 2023 Report Posted February 1, 2023 My guesses: Batista Lex Luger Sean Waltman Luna Vachon Mike Rotundo Motorhead (celebrity induction) (though for them, I'd just have the surviving members perform "The Game" or "King of Kings" live with Lemmy's vocals on tape) Quote
flyonthewall2983 Posted February 2, 2023 Author Report Posted February 2, 2023 I like Luger getting in. seems like a long shot for Rock this year. All I hope is that whenever it happens Kevin Hart inducts him. Quote
Reel Posted February 2, 2023 Report Posted February 2, 2023 Waltman going in would make him the only 3 time Hall of Famer, which I think means they probably won't put him in solo. Quote
Coffey Posted February 3, 2023 Report Posted February 3, 2023 I legit had no idea that The Rock wasn't already in the Hall of Fame. That seems crazy to me. I just assumed he went in years ago like Austin did. Quote
El-P Posted February 3, 2023 Report Posted February 3, 2023 They probably wanted that last big match before inducting him. Or just waited for the right year, whatever that is. But anywoo. Woman inductee : whoever did not need to sign an NDA. For the celebrity wing : MBS Warrior Award : Jerry McDevitt Quote
JRH Posted March 4, 2023 Report Posted March 4, 2023 I'm getting the feeling we may not be getting a HOF ceremony this year, they still havent announced any inductees (unless they're planning on announcing them all together at once). Quote

They are selling tickets to this, a combined show with a live Smackdown, apparently - either that or the Smackdown show will be the HOF ceremony. Quote
flyonthewall2983 Posted March 7, 2023 Author Report Posted March 7, 2023 They must be announcing the whole class at once, instead of one a week like they did forever Quote
NintendoLogic Posted March 7, 2023 Report Posted March 7, 2023 I guess Dwayne turned them down and they don't have a headliner big enough to warrant a solo announcement. Quote
Flyin' Brian Posted March 10, 2023 Report Posted March 10, 2023 Just saw Keiji Muto aka The Great Muta might go in this year. Interesting choice. Quote
The Thread Killer Posted March 10, 2023 Report Posted March 10, 2023 Supposedly Mick Foley said he got a call about inducting a Diva, who is speculated to be either Melina or Stacey. Quote
C.S. Posted March 11, 2023 Report Posted March 11, 2023 Rey is the first inductee and I assume the headliner. I guess no Rock or Bluetista this year? Quote
Coffey Posted March 12, 2023 Report Posted March 12, 2023 I don't think there's anyone on the planet that could deny that Mysterio should be in a pro wrestling Hall of Fame. It just feels like every time when we're on the Road to Wrestlemania we, as a community (wrestling fans, not just PWO), seem to have the same arguments & discussions as per the inductees: the WWE Hall of Fame isn't credible, the celebrity wing is a waste of time, how is Wrestler X not in yet? Those sorts of things. If wrestling had a baseball style Hall of Fame, Rey Mysterio is a first ballot. Quote
MoS Posted March 12, 2023 Report Posted March 12, 2023 Rey Mysterio is the greatest active wrestler of all time, which is why he is such at pace with spinning shit happening again and again. Let this be. Let us be in charge now. Is there something we are missing, please let us know?!?!!?! Quote

Thank you so much to you and to the entire New Zealand test cricket team for holding up their end of the bargain and beating up Sri Lanka. In the World Test Cricket Championship final, will keep your words in mind. Make the Aussies weep. Hope they suffer brutally. Nightmares for decades after the cricket match, like what happened to 10-year me after the 2003 ODI cricket world cup final. Quote
Dav'oh Posted March 13, 2023 Report Posted March 13, 2023 We've given the world Rhea Ripley, Bill Dundee, Shane Warne and spiders the size of your face. A bit of gratitude wouldn't go astray Quote
ohtani's jacket Posted March 13, 2023 Report Posted March 13, 2023 You've given us so many wonderful things like pavlova, Crowded House and Phar Lap. Quote
Dav'oh Posted March 13, 2023 Report Posted March 13, 2023 I think we've claimed Toni Storm and Dakota Kai, too. God knows why we took Russell Crowe. Or Mel Gibson from the septics. British Olivia Newton-John was a good pickup. Quote
