Postmatch, Kokina Maximus & The Great Samu came in to attack The Assassin but Jos LeDuc ran in to attempt to make the save, despite being shaken up from last night, and still bandaged up. Despite another brutal beating at the hands of The Samoan SWAT Team, Jos LeDuc still struggled back to his feet, inviting them to fight some more but Paul E had his men retreating to the back instead.... -Richard Charland & King Tonga (w/Frenchy Martin) beat The Creatchman Family in 20:12 when Tonga beat Botswana Beast after the Tongan Death Grip. 2. I wonder if the little mishap Gordy suffered tonight when he lost the National Heavyweight Championship to Satanico because of Michael Hayes will sway the Freebirds' focus a bit vs Devastation Inc. They're gonna need all of it if they wanna beat them!
  3. OH....MY....GOD. THE NATURE BOY HAS DONE IT.
  4. I'm having a blast with Kokina so far....and keep an eye on the Jos LeDuc stuff. Gonna lead to something interesting in May.
  5. NWA Lutte Internationale/International Wrestling TV LIVE! April 19th, 1986 CNE Coliseum, Toronto, ON Quick and dirty results: -Huracan Castillo beat Keith Hart in 12:05. After the match, Keith Hart shook hands with Castillo but cheapshotted him with a sucker punch! -Jos LeDuc beat Assassin #1 in 15:32 -In Ladies' action, Wendi Richter beat Joyce Grable in 12:43 -"Mr. Electricity" Steve Regal upsets Hacksaw Jim Duggan in 9:52 with a rollup! After the match, Regal and Duggan shook hands, Duggan showing more sportsmanship than Keith Hart did earlier in the night. -At the broadcast booth, footage of last night's event in Hamilton where Prince Alofa Fatu & Kokina Maximus captured the vacant Canadian International Tag Team titles is shown. After the footage aired, Paul E. Dangerously waltzes on the set with the new champions and the 3rd member of the SWAT Team, The Great Samu. Paul E says that he told everyone that his Dangerous Alliance would end up on top and they proved it last night. He says that no one will stop his Samoan SWAT Team and they're already looking for bigger things. Paul E says that The Road Warriors are scheduled to appear next week on Lutte TV to defend the NWA World Tag Team Championship against Richard Charland & King Tonga. Paul E also wants a piece of the Road Warriors. That's why he challenges the Road Warriors to put their titles on the line the following night, also in Ottawa against the Samoan SWAT Team. He vows to bring back the NWA World Tag Team Championship in Lutte as well. Paul E is now interrupted by Jos LeDuc, who says that Paul E talks a big game for someone who barely got here. After a few verbal jabs being traded, Kokina blindsides Jos and the big lumberjack goes down. It's a 3-on-1 attack on LeDuc and it doesn't take too long before Jos gets busted open by the Samoans. Eventually, officials come out and order Paul E & his Samoan SWAT Team backstage while they tend to Jos LeDuc. -In the main event, Satanico defeated Terry Gordy to capture the NWA National Heavyweight Championship barely before the TV time limit expires. But he can thank a miscue from Michael PS Hayes, who accidentally nailed Gordy with his cowboy boot!!! À LA SEMAINE PROCHAINE SI DIEU LE VEUT!!!
  6. To be honest, I don't know how many of us have vivid memories of Paul Jones other than the Jimmy Valiant feud. It's the only ones I have of him.
  7. Awesome! I didn't even know that the Rougeaus worked Porto Rico! We might have to revisit this one earlier than when it actually happened!
  8. You're booking completely different of me, as I very rarely use DQs in my matches. And I think this is when promo segments and specific angles are useful to further your programs. Maybe it's just a matter of having a different mindset but taking a little bit of everyone to add to your booking can be somewhat helpful sometimes. Nonetheless, your shows are really good. Heck, everyone is doing awesome.
  9. I bet the 6-Men Tag title match stole the show!
  10. I was stunned to hear about his passing this morning when I first logged in. Arguably one of the greatest wrestling champions of all-time.
  11. April 18th, 1986 Copps Coliseum, Hamilton, ON Handicap Match: Hacksaw Jim Duggan beat The Hart Brothers in 22:49 after a miscue between Bruce and Keith Hart. Postmatch, Keith Hart cheapshots Bruce!!! The crowd is stunned as they didn't expect Keith to act that way and he walks away, leaving brother Bruce stunned. NWA Canadian International TV Championship: "Maniac" Matt Borne beat The Great Samu (w/Paul E. Dangerously) in 3:32 to retain Falls Count Anywhere: Huracan Castillo & Miguelito Perez beat The Creatchman Family (w/Floyd Creatchman) -Gino Brito beat Richard "Le Magnifique" Charland (w/Frenchy Martin) in 16:12 -"Mr. Electricity" Steve Regal beat Satanico in 11:36. How much will this loss derail Satanico's match with Terry Gordy tomorrow night? -Madusa Miceli beat Donna Day in 13:42 NWA Canadian International Tag Team Championship: The Samoan SWAT Team (Prince Alofa Fatu & Kokina Maximus, w/Paul E. Dangerously) destroy The Assassins in 1:16 to capture the vacant titles. Kokina Maximus did all the job by himself!
  12. I'm gonna step out for this week, because of workload. If somehow laz & joeg pop up with the matches they were supposed to give me in the past 2 weeks, I'll still review them, though.
  13. I'm completely all in with Tommy Rich vs Eddie Gilbert. This one is gonna steal the show. Also looking forward to see where Ole & Magnum's pairing will go. Can't WAIT for Martel vs Nikita in Baton Rouge!
  14. Wild West Wrestling is the perfect environment for a team like The Nasty Boys. Glad they're getting some gold!
  15. Yeah. And I'm the one who has to figure out who goes over in every match. I might have made things a tad complicated to book LOL
  16. I guess we could make some predictions prior to the tournament, sure!
  17. What a great main event between Ricky Steamboat and Larry Z. Perfect way to cap off that show at the Mecca!
  18. Here are the brackets for the 3rd annual Johnny Rougeau Memorial Cup: https://challonge.com/9l59mxwt Looking for one more match to fill Night 2 of the tournament!
  19. I expect nothing else than the bloodiest brawl in this Project's history between Abdullah the Butcher and Carlos Colon on April 19th. What a HUGE main event that'll be!
  20. Guess I can now make this official. Lutte traded Hillbilly Jim to World Class for Kokina Maximus.
  21. Pretty much have all of WWF The Music as well as the WCW Mayhem: The Music. However, my uncle used to have The Wrestling Album and I'd listen to it with him all the time when I was a kid. "Land of a Thousand Dances" will always have a soft spot in my heart.
  22. Agreed about Tom Pritchard. He's turning into your hidden gem for Mid-Atlantic. Who knows, he could eventually turn into a jack-of-all-trades for any card of yours!
  23. So much talent in the semi-main event, despite being Young Lions!
  24. He still is. I'll add Bam Bam Bigelow vs Sgt. Slaughter to Night 1!
  25. Nice revenge for the Von Erichs against the Super Destroyers, who cost them the National Tag Titles. And I don't think Dirty Rhodes can dig out of that hole against the real Dream!
