  1. Can't wait for Don Callis to say something about apple cum on TNT
  2. I just caught the main event of NXT and everything about 2.0 seems so much better and exciting than the past, idk 2 1/2 years of NXT. Junior Steiner is awesome already, popped for the catching powerslam that he did more like Buzz Sawyer than his dad, and the Steiner Recliner. If this fella can combine the best parts of Rick and Scott into one meat headed monster, you might have the next Brock on your hands. Someone get him to start throwing Steiner Breakker Lines instead of shoulder blocks, though.
  3. Her outfits prior to NXT on TV is probably more than edgy enough
  4. "Someone told me" 20% of the audience left on live TV during one segment but somehow no one noticed it as it was happening. This man getting rolled hard lmao.
  5. Homicide is a lot like Eddie Kingston to me where they clearly weren't as good as their contemporaries but had a grit that others didn't have and so people talked them up more than what they really warranted. That's still happening in the case of Kingston, probably still would be of Homicide was active in a visible promotion as well.
  6. I'm somewhat surprised Chris Hero hasn't found his way to AEW either as talent or agent/coach, considering how much of the company is full of and influenced by the first and second generation of the 2000s indie boom.
  7. I dunno I wasn't here then. But I don't know how you can't expect the absolute worst follow up and ending to whatever great thing that happens in WWE land.
  8. I can't get invested in a Big E run because I have to assume they're going to do something shitty like have Xavier turn on him within a month
  9. Just about anything would be better than the way they've handled putting big time matches on TV so far
  10. That clip of Beefcake making the rounds again almost unable to contain his joy and giddiness laughing his way through talking about how the Rockers would drug women, have their way with them while they were passed out, and then leave them out in the halls naked and unconscious is some real sociopath shit.
  11. Just give Karl Anderson a couple of brewskis
  12. I can not see any circumstance where Vince pulls Brock short of being charged with a sex crime or arrested.
  13. Still holding out hope they fix the commercial situation for these giant shows because AEW's commercial breaks are worse than WWE's and picture in picture doesn't help shit. These fucks cut to PIP commercial about 4 minutes into a fucking War Games match. Maybe shorten match times if need be or front load the show so Bryan/Omega can go full 6 stars without being broken up by Dominos and State Farm ads every 4 minutes.
  14. Every HHH match before probably his 2000 run is too fucking long. Dude is just unbelievably boring his first 4-5 years with WWE, it's truly astounding the career he ended up having.
  15. The first couple of Starrcades have so many weird booking choices considering they basically had access to damn near anyone under the NWA banner, which is most of the best in the world at the time and yet the undercards are so dire. It's also kind of like WM 1 where there seem to be a lot of monthly big house shows that seem as big or bigger (and certainly better quality) around the same time in JCP, Georgia, and Florida. However the build on Mid Atlantic TV to Starrcade 1983 is excellent and really makes the event feel like a once in a live time can't miss super event. There's a Flair/Harley match that happens during the build to Starrcade that is so, so much better than the actual Starrcade match. I think it aired in full on TV but in the pre-Peacock days it was up in the Hidden Gems section on the Network so I'm sure it's very easy to find online.
  16. Tommy Dreamer did some pretty heinous stuff on screen with women in his ECW run, and was said to be real fuckin weird with Francine and Beulah in the 90s. I'm not particularly surprised that he's of the "well, he didn't rape her it wasn't that bad come on guys" kind of mindset, but I am a bit surprised he was so willing to air that out on TV in 2021 without thinking of the consequences.
  17. What a weird thing to lie about when it could be so easily proven
  18. Everyone in the industry has to shoulder some of the blame, which is why no one wants to be the one to take down someone like Flair because it reflects poorly on basically everyone who has been in the industry in the past oh, 45 years.
  19. Oh, well probably because Dreamer was defending Flair and then victim blaming and veering into cancel/outrage culture shit and Brock was not involved in the production and so didn't have stupid shit to say and draw attention to himself.
  20. Well, yes, I did think you meant it literally since you mentioned it multiple times in a "WWE fans will defend their guys no matter what" kind of implication. 50 something year old legend spinning his dick around, cornering a woman and forcing her to touch it and has a long history of such behavior with his dick out vs. Young rookie Brock flashing someone. Surely you can see why one is getting more focus than the other at the moment.
  21. Probably because Brock Lesnar wasn't the focus of the incident, Ric Flair was, and what he is accused of doing is worse and a long pattern of behavior for him. Really don't think people are not talking about Brock because they're worried about Brock vs Roman in Saudi, lol
  22. I have a hard time believing people upset with Dreamer saying wild shit are really super hyped and big supporters of SaudiMania blood money deals but idk
  23. I don't think the industry is ready to cancel Ric Flair, because that implicates basically everyone that has worked with him and his superiors for 40 some years as accomplices who never stopped working with him, hiring him, or honoring him as a GOAT. Except Shane Douglas and Scott Steiner, I guess.
  24. I feel like in 3 months Flair will be welcomed with open arms and there will still be think pieces put out about him but people are still going to pop and whoooo because like it's been said, everyone has known this about Flair for decades, it's not even been an open secret it's just been out in the open that this is the guy he is for 40 years now.
