It's bonkers that Ziggler has gone from the guy I just don't care about, to being one of my favorite guys. I adored that RAW Rollins match. They did the high spot style that most people want to see, and filled it with storytelling. They may have been doing crazy shit, but they never stopped selling that it was a struggle.

Netflix creating a comedy series based on G.L.O.W.

My weekend is booked. I'm so pumped for this. It's amazing. When the "real" GLOW came out, it was the worst part of the 80's boom, at least to young teen me. Now, GLOW is my second favorite wrestling show behind NXT. -

Oh and I buried the lead. This is one of our funniest shows yet. -

Listen, as an angle that I thought made no sense, becomes clear through the words of King Kong Bundy. It saved me. Cause this shit is really making me hate wrestling. When Hayes brags that the Freebitds saved this place, he ain't lying. -
I rather enjoyed the Dave one myself. It was amazingly humanizing. Twitter Dave isn't the real Dave, and this show showed that well. And thanks for the cool recap of the Taz one. Half of what I do for a living is driving, and I appreciate a recap that helps me plan what I'm going to listen in the truck.

They're making great money and are living in their homes. They don't care about card placement .

Oh, everyone was afraid of him. Watts was an asshole back then.

The build with Johnny/ Ciampa is simple. First match was Star Wars and this was Empire Strikes Back. It's tremendous and simple storytelling.

That show was amazing. I don't rewatch much, just Magnum / Tully , Lawler/ Dundee, And Mania 1. But that show just made the list. That was the most fun I've had watching a wrestling show in years. Watching them figure out how to work with that crowd was fascinating.

83 Weeks with Eric Bischoff

The best thing about it is that after it gets going, Jericho is just basically doing a shoot interview. It's really great. -

The Jericho pod was awesome. -
So let me get this straight. ROH is gonna run a show at MSG. ROH. While that's awesome, the company that had shows I went to back in the day that ran four hours long, and who knows when it'll end...is playing the place where the union rules are a huge part of why WWE doesn't do TV there anymore? It's a crazy world, out there. Will it be an afternoon show, or will it end in a curfew draw? Cause that's old school MSG.

Well, Rollins is currently the hottest guy there who's totally killing it, and the Iiconics are figuring out their act on the big stage. So, apparently, your decision making ability has been compromised.

Wake would work better than actual fruit. -
I'll never forget Regal on that show. He clearly knew something was wrong.

Thanks, but dedication didn't enter it to it, man. I'm 48 years old. The very idea of going out to celebrate on a Tuesday is ridiculous to me. Now. If it was my 39th? Shit, Tuesday is Saturday! Whoooo. 😀 -
Oh, Matt..calm the fuck down for Christ's sake. They re-introduced it with a big drop and now there just might be one a week. And guess what,Sunshine? There's a lot of wrestling they have that shockingly might be interesting to people beside us. Finding ways to bitch about this while it's happening makes me want to eat my own head. Love ya, buddy but for fucks sake.

Huge thanks to Pete and Kelly for the best birthday party a guy could have on a Tuesday night. 👍 -
The Jim Cornette Experience
Johnny Sorrow replied to flyonthewall2983's topic in Publications and Podcasts
Yeah, but at the time, they weren't the huge stars they are now. It was just as they were getting really noticed and right after a lot of guys had bad experiences with Jim in ROH. And looking at the facts that Cornette is a worker through and through, and based on every interview I've heard with Bucks has shown them to be totally decent guys... I'm gonna go with the Bucks on this one. -

Dude, a couple of years ago it came out that he was sending the Bucks messages saying "We're working them, boys!" and they wanted nothing to do with it. -

What I hate is that all of his shitting on the Bucks and the rest, is that he's obviously trying to make it into an angle, if only they'd bring him on to do it. And the more they say "No thanks, the more angry he gets. It's like Jim fucking Cornette worked himself into a shoot.
