I kinda hate the term "vices" for shit you have under control or diet soda. The Vice Squad of 1947 Los Angeles wasn't cracking down on soda pop. 😀 And I love to cook. Italian food has been my go to for years, but lately I've been trying different recipes I find on those recipe sites, for things outside my wheelhouse. Anyone else enjoy cooking? And sharing recipes would be a great use of this thread.

13 years ago I had a bit of a coke problem, then after I quit I got fat. Mainly from drinking too much coke. I quit all soda a year ago and lost a ton of weight. I went from drinking liters a week to drinking only water.

My buddy Wolfman thinks Charlotte is just the height of beauty. He also is the biggest Ric Flair fan I've ever known, so I totally get that he now can think about fucking his idol without having to deal with deeper issues. Which I bring up every time we talk. I'd tell him that I think Tamina is beautiful, but I'm not giving him those jokes, not just yet.

World Cast: A WCCW Review
Johnny Sorrow replied to Ricky Jackson's topic in Publications and Podcasts
I almost wish that's what we did, not because I'm not loving doing this show, but because it'd be the most Andy Kaufman-like thing ever.😀 -
That's a perfect idea, Natty fucking over her "friend " to be the first enemy who's been bought by Stephanie is good booking.

Now that I think about it, if they're going to do the Austin/ McMahon deal, and I'm sure I read about that being the plan, having Rousey as champ puts her in a position of power against "being fired/ not used" in the fued. I still wouldn't be surprised if Steph just fucks her out of the title to kick it off.

I was about to type, "Actually, Hogan feuded with Muraco about a year and a half later." 😀
-
So, Stephanie is going to screw Rousey out of a title win to add fuel to the fire for the "Austin/ McMahon" type deal that's been rumored for them?

I thought I was the only Deadhead wrestling fan whose favorite tv show is Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. 😀

Comments that don't warrant a thread - Part 4
Johnny Sorrow replied to TravJ1979's topic in Pro Wrestling
Say what you will about Vince, but his choice to open WrestleManias with "America the Beautiful" instead of the awful Star Spangled Banner, our national anthem that is musically great but lyrically awful, was one of his great decisions. -
I think it's perfect. His character is an underdog who just came back from a years long layoff. They had to give us the Mania and AJ matches to make us happy, but this is a realistic choice. And it helps both guys. Rusev gets a big win finally and it gives Bryan's character more depth.

I love that it's still him dropping the Nword that's the issue. Cause the whole boning your pals old lady while he films it to jerk off to, and the phone rings and the ring tone is your daughters pop song as you're wiping off your dick is ok, until you say something stupid. 😀

The Ron Fuller Podcast (Studcast)

Why the fuck would you listen to audio speeded up? That's insane and an insult to people doing shows. -
Mid Atlantic Slaughter is a stone blast.👍

Wrestlers who are BOTH Overrated and Underrated
Johnny Sorrow replied to Microstatistics's topic in Pro Wrestling
Orton right now is one of my favorite wrestlers. And I was indifferent to him for years. But, rich, happily married family man Orton, who literally grew up in the business, has evolved into a guy I truly enjoy. -
Shit, Vic. I was so confused by it I honestly thought he was talking about Issac Yankem. That's totally on me, to be fair. 😀

Wrestlers who are BOTH Overrated and Underrated
Johnny Sorrow replied to Microstatistics's topic in Pro Wrestling
The only time I see Eddie overrated is when I see claims that he was an all time great all through the 90s and early 00s, when in reality he had plenty of periods of just being good with flashes of greatness. I'd be vaguely interested in a "Greatest Peak Ever" with that period being an X month period (maybe even 1 year). I kinda feel like if someone does peak and becomes as great as Eddie did, that's enough to be called one of the greatest of all time. -
The new one is on Matt Hardy, and Jeff as well. It's really good. For anyone else interested, it's called "Formally Known As".

It's on the website.

Wrestlers who are BOTH Overrated and Underrated
Johnny Sorrow replied to Microstatistics's topic in Pro Wrestling
Eddie has a case for Greatest of all time because he became great at everything. He was a complete performer, which is amazingly rare. He couldn't be touched at the time he passed. I personally don't see any over rated argument. -
Is "bland in the ring" is code for "I can't stop looking at his package?" Cause if so, I agree. What Irish curse? Finn Balor, destroyer of stereotypes.

I briefly had a roomie who was insanely homophobic, and I loved mentioning that Justin Gabriel was hot and had a sweet ass. Number one, it's true; and number two because he'd flip out and get all flustered and mad at me. 😀 My ex wife thought Rick Rude was sexy and when she first went to an ROH show with me, she told me she thought CM Punk was hot. And this was blond hair and basketball shorts Punk.

The fact that The Iconics sound amazingly disengeous is the point, There's an adjustment period for new acts, and I know they're going to excell. They proved it in NXT when at first the act was very clunky but they worked hard to make it great.

I loved that AJ/ Nak match.
