    DEAR GOD, MIZ'S PARENTS!!!!!!!!!!!!
  3. Did they tease something between Heyman and Ryback that I missed?
  4. WWE Universe redeems themselves by voting Booker T greatest heavyweight champ ever. He beats Flair, Undertaker, Edge and Batista.
  5. Andre in '72 looks like a giant version of New Morning-era Bob Dylan.
  6. Very disappointed in the WWE Universe. How could they not vote Honky Tonk for the greatest IC Champ ever? Fuck Chris Jericho. And Michelle McCool makes it onto the greatest women's champ poll.
  7. Thanks, man! I'm definitely checking out that Dr. Tom match. Glad to see Necro's still doing some good stuff, too.
  8. Dylan, PM me your list then...I would love to see it. Thanks for the other shit so far...great stuff.....always lookin... Screw that. Post those matches here, Dylan. With links where applicable, of course
  9. I will not even go to the strip clubs...anymore!
  10. What an odd show. Everything up until the revelos suicidos match was really good to great. That match was waaaay too quick. I get it that Sombra/Volador were going to long in the main, but still. They did a great job getting the crowd back into it. It was one of the stiffest flying matches I've seen. They were really knocking the shit out of each other with everything. Also, I could watch Casas and Rush fight alllll day long.
  11. Man, I think I had that Reed/Neidhart cage match ranked pretty high. Been a while since I watched it, and I don't have my rankings anymore, but I swear I had it at least top 20. Oh, and I think that Reed/Sheiky match was shown way after it was taped. That's why Watts mentions the Backlund stuff. I think I remember hearing it was one of those things where when Sheik went to Vince and won the title, they cued up an old match where he gets his ass kicked by one of his guys to make "New York's" champ look bad.
  12. Ditch's sites have some nice write-ups for matches, too. They can help give you a little backstory.
  13. Man, I don't get to watch shit. I pretty much keep up with current WWE on dvr, whatever 80's set I'm working on, and a smattering of stuff from dvds and youtube. I've seen Cars like 800 times in the last two weeks thanks to my little girl being absolutely obsessed with it.
  14. SHIIIIIIIIIIIT.
  15. I like Quack a decent amount, but I'm not sure I agree with this part. Who has he trained that really "made it" (in any sense of the term, indies or WWE)?
  16. I liked that match quite a bit. I think like 80% of my liking it was that final spot, though. Cesaro power spots may be my favorite thing to watch right now.
  17. I go into any interesting WWE storyline with the approach of "cautiously optimistic". I'm going to wait and watch and see where things go, but I'm not going to be shocked if I'm disappointed in the end.
  18. Totally agree with Lee, there. People can form their opinions however they please. I don't have to give a shit about that opinion, though. There's too much good stuff out there I haven't seen, read, listened to, etc. I don't have time to spend on shit I don't (or know I won't) like.

  20. I like to make up my own storylines. Like 6/9/95 for example. Kobashi got roughed up because he found out about internal affairs lying to the cops. He needed to be shut up. Kawada and Taue were in on the thing the whole time. If they don't stop Kobashi, they'll be found out. Misawa is two weeks away from retirement. The last thing he wants is to be wrapped up in this mess. He's clearly too old for that shit! Don't even get me started on the MPro 10-mans.
  21. Maybe Austin just didn't know better?
  22. I think half the fun of listening to old wrestlers tell stories is the bullshit that comes out of it. We need more fables and tall tales and stuff. I read Bob Dylan's "Chronicles". You wanna learn about Dylan's upbringing and his life and that kind of stuff, don't read it. It's Bob rambling about god-knows-what and devoting an entire chapter to the recording of Oh Mercy. I keep trying to read a Tom Waits biography. It's so much better to hear him tell his (obviously false) own stories. I can look on wikipedia or whatever to find out what really happened in Ric Flair's life. It's so much more fun to have him tell it, bullshit and all.
  23. One thing that Vince has to be credited for is his attention to detail. He cleaned up the wrestling product for national television. That (to me) was one of his biggest strengths. Little things that don't seem like a big deal, but can hook a viewer. On all of the AWA I've seen from the Showboat, there are always four or five empty seats in the front row directly across from the hard camera. Vince would've never let empty front row seats appear on tv. Makes it look like you couldn't sell those seats.

They teased a Legacy breakup and had Ted wrestle Orton on Raw once. He showed a nice babyface fire in that match. Would've been perfect as a white-bread 80's face. Nice dropkick, etc. They put him back with Orton quickly, and he kinda stagnated from there.
  25. Hillbilly Jim is a great pic. I'd rather hear "Don't Go Messin' With a Country Boy" over anything Pitbull has put out, too. I don't agree with Kane as a pick. Like the dude or not, he's always gone all-in with everything they've thrown at him. You can at least see why the company would be high on him. Hall and Nash are also great picks. Once Hogan came on, they were definitely just along for the ride.
