SomethingSavage
I'm not subscribing either way, so perhaps it's a moot point, but - has there been any reason given for them not to put up the older shows? That's their legacy. It's what would potentially drive new viewers and eyeballs to their product. I could easily see WWE fans of Bryan, Owens, Seth, Punk, etc. being curious enough to see where and how they started out. Seems like there would have to be a legitimate roadblock there. Why else would they leave that much money on the table?

Why else would they leave that much money on the table? It has to be that they are lazy and don't want to take the time and effort to convert the shows to the new format. Some of those old DVDs go for a lot of money on eBay so there's obviously a demand for it. I was trying to get old shows a few years ago and after weeks of dealing with eBay just said fuck it and did a torrent of everything. I was willing to give them hundreds of dollars and they have no interest in it. If you get Chikaratopia, they have every show they've ever done on there. I don't see why it's so difficult. Edwin
I think maybe they just don't want to edit out the entrance music or something along those lines. Ripping DVD's and uploading the files isn't really that complex and shouldn't really take that long if you have a couple of people working on it together. Mad Dog
I mean you can barely hear the music on those early shows because the audio was so shitty. But they let the DVDs go out of print a long time ago too. I think they just want to put the bear minimum in for the most profit.

Sinclair isn’t.

The audio on some of the entrances wasn't that bad near the mid to late 2000's when they had Danielson coming out to the Final Countdown and stuff, but then again, bad audio and Gabe Sapolsky run organizations usually have terrible audio -- past ROH, now EVOLVE. Laz
I saw somebody in another thread say that the company claims to have lost the older footage, but that's bullshit in an age where Metropolis gets re-released every few years with more added footage from nearly a century ago. Laziness is all it can be, because editing the audio to get rid of copyrighted music isn't that hard. I was able to do it with iMovie back in 2003 FFS! I was able to torrent 2002-2008 in a matter of hours. Even if they lost the footage, you can find it.
Mad Dog
We also live in a world where they've managed to find lost episodes of hundreds of Doctor Who episodes the past decade. There is no way they don't have the footage.

The first one I saw was about Seth Rollins and his Tyler Black days, which means WWE is doing a better job promoting ROH's history than ROH does. Mrzfn
I really enjoyed the original Bully Ray run, but that was what, 5 years ago? More? And in another company to boot.
Mad Dog
It's really ridiculous that it takes a month for RoH TV to reflect any fallout from their big TV shows. I don't even remember what happened at Supercard of Honor by this point.
Mad Dog
I know when I turn on RoH programming that I'm just dying for long winded Bubba Dudley promos.

Is it Network exclusive or what?

SomethingSavage
Appreciate it. Found them. Looks like they run a little less than 10 minutes each, so this definitely works for me.

The "workrate" company had arguably one of the worst top-to-bottom shows of Mania week.

The new one is on Matt Hardy, and Jeff as well. It's really good. For anyone else interested, it's called "Formally Known As".

Would it have been that hard to tape promos at Supercard of Honor that could have gone into the next week's show, even if the matches were from the prior taping? Mad Dog
I know right? Like Castle vs. Scurll is your top program still and they went 4ish episodes with no mention of it or any interaction between them.

Edwin
Not that it really matters, but ROH has uploaded old videos on social media -- today they uploaded one of the Embassay vs. Generation Next matches on Facebook. I'm sure they still have these videos around. Why they don't want to upload it to Honor Club will continue to be a mystery.

Can't believe how into the Knife Pervert Toronto was. Match with him and Martinez was surprisingly blah, given that they worked pretty well together last year.
