Badlittlekitten Posted March 7, 2014 Report Posted March 7, 2014 Yeah, that's crossed my mind too. There's no doubt that he is over. But he's nowhere near as over as he was last summer before they snuffed his momentum. You can tell that when he's selling during a match. He's not on the level of Cena. 'Yes' is as strong as ever though.
Loss Posted March 7, 2014 Report Posted March 7, 2014 Watching NXT. I am so amused at how bad of a talker Charlotte is. I can't turn away. Sasha Banks is such a stupid caricature too.
Loss Posted March 7, 2014 Report Posted March 7, 2014 Corey Graves carries himself like a superstar ... until the bell rings.
Jmare007 Posted March 7, 2014 Report Posted March 7, 2014 I didn't think Bryan was bad on SD!. I've seen and heard far worse from his character and WWE faces in general. After reading the spoilers I was expecting far worse to be honest.
goodhelmet Posted March 8, 2014 Report Posted March 8, 2014 Just finished watching the Batista-DB exchange and DB responded with taking shots at Batista's skinny jeans, sunglasses indoors, belly button tattoos and whatnot. They may be turning the corner on letting people get over on him verbally.
shoe Posted March 8, 2014 Report Posted March 8, 2014 Is his part big enough to actually infiltrate the masses? Plus, if it is a good comic book film, people will go to see it. He'll probably be billed in the top 5 or 6 in the movie. He is one of The Guardians of the Galaxy. Here's a serious question then, since the movie opens in August, is there a way they can turn him around by then? Not necessarily at Mania, but at least a month or two before it opens? It would be easy enough to turn him. Have him save Bryan from a beat down from HHH and friends. Set up a match with Batista/Partner of his choice against HHH/who ever. Batista announces his partner as the most talented person in the business . Bryan walks out. Batista gets Bryab's rub. He's now getting cheered because he's positioned right. Not percieves as stealing someone's spot.

Not percieves as stealing someone's spot. This only works if Batista isn't the champ. Bryan has to be the champ. If they played their cards right, they have Bryan win the title at Mania. You have Batista win the title from Bryan at Money In the Bank or the June PPV. Batista alluded to being the real hero the fans should cheer last night on SD!. This is clearly a reference to his movie. Batista is champ during the movie hype (released August 1st), and Bryan can win the title back at Summerslam.
shoe Posted March 8, 2014 Report Posted March 8, 2014 Right the key is Bryan being inserted into the main event and winning the title for the before mentioned scenario to work. Bryan pins Orton at Mania. Batista has a look of Damn he's good . We do Orton/Bryan at the next ppv . Bryan goes over . Next ppv. Bryan/Batista Bryan goes over. Batista shakes his hand and endorses Bryan as champ. Then that leads to my previous scenario and Batista is a hot baby face for the movie.
shoe Posted March 9, 2014 Report Posted March 9, 2014 At the WWE panel for SXSW they had Cena speak for 5 minutes in Chinese. Steph was there, and someone else.
shoe Posted March 9, 2014 Report Posted March 9, 2014 By some guy I mean Miller Perkins and Michael Cole.
rovert Posted March 9, 2014 Report Posted March 9, 2014 At the WWE panel for SXSW they had Cena speak for 5 minutes in Chinese. Steph was there, and someone else. Cena's retort in this SHORT video is something else: http://instagram.com/p/lVClnAmcLY/
Grimmas Posted March 9, 2014 Report Posted March 9, 2014 Is anybody else hoping that when The Shield splits, Ambrose goes solo heel, Reigns goes solo face and Rollins is so distraught he joins the Wyatts?
goc Posted March 9, 2014 Report Posted March 9, 2014 I think if any of them join the Wyatts it will be Ambrose.
Guest TheGreatPuma Posted March 10, 2014 Report Posted March 10, 2014 Adam Rose's entrance!!!!!! One of the best ever!!!!! That is incredible on so many levels!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Also, speaking of current WWE, I am wondering why Derrick Bateman and the WWE are no longer one. I just recently became familiar with Derrick Bateman and he is now one of my favourite all time WWF/WWE personalities. I see he's in TNA now feuding with Kurt Angle so I'm happy to see that he's doing well.
Strummer Posted March 10, 2014 Report Posted March 10, 2014 it will be interesting the next four weeks how they build up HHH/Bryan. The promos are basically repeating the same lines over and over. They have to change it up somehow, don't they? Hell it's the same promo they've been cutting since August just with slight variations. Part of me thinks Hogan could get involved here. I would also expect Bryan to get beat down several more times going into Mania
Yo-Yo's Roomie Posted March 10, 2014 Report Posted March 10, 2014 I'm waiting for that long-ass Triple H beatdown of Bryan. You know the one I'm talking about. Where it ends with him standing behind a dude cradling their head and raining down punches on their forehead until they're a bloody mess. And it's always really slow and methodical. It's coming.
rovert Posted March 10, 2014 Report Posted March 10, 2014 Also, speaking of current WWE, I am wondering why Derrick Bateman and the WWE are no longer one. I just recently became familiar with Derrick Bateman and he is now one of my favourite all time WWF/WWE personalities. I see he's in TNA now feuding with Kurt Angle so I'm happy to see that he's doing well. He was just unlucky/fell through the cracks. I think like Colt Cabana his contemporary quirky Jewish humour is wasn't something WWE brass got. WWE had various plans for him but they would get nix or forgotten. His reoccuring knee injuries were probably the biggest thing. I assume WWE eventually saw his knee as too much of a liability.
Jimmy Redman Posted March 10, 2014 Report Posted March 10, 2014 I'm waiting for that long-ass Triple H beatdown of Bryan. You know the one I'm talking about. Where it ends with him standing behind a dude cradling their head and raining down punches on their forehead until they're a bloody mess. And it's always really slow and methodical. It's coming. Now that you say it like that...the Evolution beatdowns are going to be so much worse with no blood.
Exposer Posted March 10, 2014 Report Posted March 10, 2014 I forgot about those Evolution beatdowns. Awful.
KrisZ Posted March 10, 2014 Report Posted March 10, 2014 So they announced Cena vs. Luke Harper this afternoon and have changed it to Cena vs. Rowan....buzzkill
Exposer Posted March 10, 2014 Report Posted March 10, 2014 I normally would defend Rowan, because I don't think he's as bad as some think. But yeah, that is a fucking buzzkill.
goodhelmet Posted March 11, 2014 Report Posted March 11, 2014 What the fuck is Hogan talking about? OK: Nevermind... it was just to hype the Andre the Giant Battle Royal
goodhelmet Posted March 11, 2014 Report Posted March 11, 2014 Man, goes to show, you give Goldust ten minutes for a match and a chance to be FIP and he is going to get the crowd into a match.
