Timbo Slice
Not really, especially considering that Roman has long been considered the top guy in the group. The guys you mentioned weren't pushed as singles guys for years. Hunter putting over Reigns works well enough, although now that Bryan has beaten him and he's the top guy, you wonder how they would even make a match between him and Reigns mean much. Strummer
I have a feeling that if Ambrose and Rollins are left out in the cold and Reigns struggles that the crowd will turn on him if they surmise he's just getting pushed because of his size. It will be like they learned nothing from the Bryan revolt
Loss
The Cesaro stuff in the WON is interesting and I thought I'd share it here so it can get more play. They are trying to artificially create another Daniel Bryan-type movement with him. The whole idea behind him not having entrance music is that the turn was "unplanned" and happened due to fan demand, so they had nothing ready. He will have music soon, but that's why he doesn't now. Also, they have been handing out the Cesaro Section signs at shows in an attempt to get over the idea that fans are lobbying for this guy to turn babyface. Exposer
I don't know how I feel about that. Most fans have no clue how to react to him now that he's a Heyman guy. At the house show in Chattanooga, he was announced as the newest Paul Heyman guy and was welcomed with a chorus of boos. Heyman is getting tremendous heat every show as he rubs in Taker's loss. How can most fans get behind a guy who's managed by Paul Heyman, the mastermind behind the conquering of Undertaker's Streak? And I'm never a fan of WWE telling fans what to do. Loss
My biggest problem with it is that they are really overthinking it. They managed to co-opt the Daniel Bryan thing and make it work for them, but creating something like that from scratch seems difficult. And that type of fan rebellion leading to a new star being created is the type of thing that I don't think can be copied.

Johnny Sorrow
That sounds like a really weird and possibly wrong "news report". Cesaro has been getting over with cheers for some time now, with no "Were gonna recreate Bryan" shit. They ran with it by having him quit the Real Americans and win the Battle Royal at Mania. He turned face then and the Heyman reveal was the swerve that he hadn't turned good guy but had just upgraded managers. Why would they now start a "fake" crowd demands a face turn ? I mean, I know he's gonna turn face sooner than later, but this all seems jumbled.
Exposer
I hope that it's weird, inaccurate news too. Maybe it is. Maybe it isn't. Cesaro still gets good reactions for the Giant Swing. That's part of what got him over as a quasi-face in the first place.
sek69
Watching Smackdown on the DVR, and I'm wondering when the last time there was a midget match in WWF/E? I would think Doink and friends vs Lawler and friends is the last one I remember.

There was the attempted "Smackdown Juniors Division" in 05-06 that had Sagrada, Super Porky, Octagoncito and a few others.

Oh man… Reeks of "Goldberg didn't follow the script. Enough meta-angles already. They won't be able to catch lightning in a bottle twice. You can't recreate artificially what happened organically onece for very specific reasons. Cesaro gets babyface reaction because he's a cool as fuck power wrestler who does the Giant Swing. Just build him up as a heel that people still want to cheer up to the point he finally turns face. Nothing complicated with the situation. "Recreating" a Daniel Bryan-like crowd support is just baffling. Let each guy get over on their own term.
Strummer
Batista is scheduled to take time off after Extreme Rules to do promotion for "Guardians of the Galaxy". I would imagine Bryan is going to get beat down pretty badly tonight to try and sell Kane as a threat

They also had a Finlay/Hornswoggle vs. Boogeyman/Lil Boogey tag match.
Matt D
I'm just getting along to watching the Warrior Week stuff. So does HHH really have a live feed from the Performance Center in his office 24/7? That's pretty awesome.

goc
I don't think it's really fair to say it's a "surveillance state" thing as much as them being able to see what's going on unfiltered through someone else's opinion or dealing with trainers sending them cut up footage to highlight a certain guy or make another guy look like shit for personal reasons. It does make it difficult for them to claim ignorance if there are ever any lawsuits regarding injuries due to bad training.

The guys you mentioned weren't pushed as singles guys for years. Uh, yeah, because they knew that they weren't ready. Since his call-up with Ambrose and Rollins, he has worked a total of nine singles matches, only three of which have ended without a DQ, with the other two being squashes over Henry and the match with Punk at Old School Raw. They want him to be a top-shelf face by the end of the summer, and in the last year and a half, he's had a total of nine singles matches. There is no, no way that he is ready. That's a hell of a shame. However, his father got to see his son reach the pinnacle of his profession and marry the love of his life. He must have had an amazing last few weeks himself.
