anarchistxx
Yeah, that segment was easily the best thing about an underwhelming Smackdown. The crowd seemed a bit deflated about the lack of Daniel Bryan. SD seems to be really hit and miss, one week all the top stars are there, the next week nobody is. I don't hate the 'PG era' in principle, though it must be said that The Shield beatdown on 3MB was ridiculously tame, especially for something that was meant to dehabilitate them for a couple of hours. Â Even though the brand split was a bit of a mess in the end, it did ensure that Smackdown had a distinct identity with its own big storylines. Struggling to see the point in keeping it around other than as an extra bit of financial revenue.
Strummer
Again I just have this sinking feeling that Stephanie is going to mention Bryan's father on Monday. I hope the company realizes the backlash that will come if they go that route. Hopefully I'm wrong

Well, 3MB are chickenshit heel mercenaries, that was enough for them to pull out of the match. And the visual of Heath trying to beg off Reigns while Ambrose and Rollins went apeshit on Jinder/McIntyre was great. Then you got Fandango getting powerbombed off of the stage, an Attitude Era trademark. I was definitely pleased with that episode.

WingedEagle
Catching up on last week's Smackdown and for whatever reason decided to see how the minis match was. This was a wise decision, as JBL's "Ali Bomaye" call during the staredown was perhaps the funniest thing I've seen in wrestling in some time. Gold. Strummer
More news from Meltz  Vince is high on Barrett especially after his performance at the HOF.  Stephanie was very upset that the RAW script was leaked online. The company no longer uses printed scripts. That was the master copy that someone accidentally left behind  They are booking Paige against the lower tier divas to slowly get her over with the crowd. She will eventually move on to face the "name" divas

Fantastic
More news from Meltz  Vince is high on Barrett especially after his performance at the HOF.  How long can it last though? They've failed numerous times to get Barrett over. I honestly believe they destroyed his one and only chance at breaking through when they annihilated Nexus before it even got off the ground. Had they booked Nexus similarly to how they book The Shield, I don't doubt that at least half of them would be big players in WWE right now.  That was the master copy that someone accidentally left behind Same person who accidentally lets slip the results of matches to gamblers eh? Matt D
The script was pretty much a non-entity. Did we really learn anything there?
Exposer
I honestly think Barrett is way more over now than he ever was as the leader of Nexus. I'm not sure it's all that close either.
goc
I was really surprised by how over Barrett was on Raw against Sheamus. I haven't been keeping up with him at all but I watched that match because people were pimping it and it was really good. I think Sheamus would be the star they wanted him to be as a heel right now, and Barrett could probably do a really easy switch of the Bad News character to a babyface who just the trashes heels on the mic instead of the babyfaces and the crowd. Think substituting Bad News Barrett for The Rock in the infamous "Big Show got a haircut" promo. Â I just got done watching this week's Main Event and it was a really nice one hour show. Del Rio vs. Big E was better than I expected for two guys who do nothing for me, although I did find myself agreeing with BNB's promo about Big E having no personality and bordering on being boring. El Torito vs. Hornswoggle was a fun little match, and WWE usually does a good job of making some of these goofy Hornswoggle matches seem special, like his stuff with "Lil" Boogeyman. El Torito seems like he could do a lot more if they gave him the chance. Titus vs Sheamus was a really nice match, although I hated the finish and thought it was completely telegraphed. Sheamus is a beast, the Titus match is really physical and follows the really hard hitting match with Barrett from the night before. I didn't think much of Ryback vs. Jimmy Uso though. Sidebottom
I think Barrett has such a great natural charisma and I'd like to see him do more. I don't believe it's too late for him to be credible again, WWE are great at spinning its history. JBL would be a fantastic example of this. Ryan Faulconer
Mattel doesn't watch SmackDown. Â Roman Reigns choked Brad Maddox with his tie on SmackDown. Look out for "The Roman Samoan" Joe Anoi'a's indy tour this summer. Maybe Daniel Bryan can bring him back as his tag team partner against the NXTers at SummerSlam...or something vaguely yet equally jaded.

Jmare007
Man, it really hurts the quality of the show when The Shield, Wyatts and Bryan are only appearing for 1 segment each and not pulling double duty to give us fun 10-20 minute matches.
