Also, I hope when they get done with the current uploads, they go back and finish 93-95. I also wonder if they've got any of the '92 TV, and if we'll ever see that?

They have every episode of '95 up.

My understanding is that the missing '93-'95 episodes are all ones where the master tape is missing. They were skipped on Classics on Demand as well. Something to do with the tapes not being sent back from that British DVD company was what I heard.

What British DVD company?

Also, doesn't everybody's favourite ALLEGED pedo RF have master tapes of the entire ECW TV run? I guess they could strike a deal to buy/borrow the masters and make a digital transfer.

Ok -- I asked in the weekly WWE thread and got no reply, so here's another shot:

How's that Edge & Christian show on the Network? I had as background last night after the PPV and it didn't seem very funny to me. It just seemed like some badly timed wrestling commentary comedy.

I watched the first episode. It was not as horrible as the preview indicated. There were a couple of mildly amusing segments (including Corey Graves going to a gym and asking random people about Edge & Christian; of all the people they showed only a not-thin not-beautiful woman had any clue who he was taking about) and a couple of yawn-segments.

Did Puppet H show up yet? That's the only thing from the trailer that I'm looking forward to.

I miss Puppet H, but I miss the JBL/Cole show too, far more than I thought I would.

Hornswoggle Lannister was great.

I think there was Puppet Cena, but no Puppet H.

Considering Bad News Barrett started there I can see why there was concern, but I still can't believe there were those who thought "Clem Layfield" was going to be a legit new character for Heath Slater.

If you liked Are You Serious (the RoadDogg/Matthews web show), you'll probably like the Edge and Christian show. Their intern essentially playing Chris Farley's SNL interviewer character is a highlight.

Anyone watch the Stone Cold Podcast with Big Show? I thought it was one of the better ones they've ever done. Funny moments were Austin going into his famous Dusty impression to do a version of Hard Times when Show was describing his lack of money when he was in college, Show getting hit by a feelings avalanche when they showed a photo of his late father, and Show for some reason having to hide his face with a towel every time he drank a beer.

He was very open with his opinions, told funny stories of how Vince and Austin got him to fire up as a giant, and had a pretty honest assessment of his career,

The Big Show interview is one of those interviews that brings home the fact that these guys and girls are just normal people trying to pay bills like the rest of us. The character Big Show is so played out and completely stale and should have some time off. Paul Wight on the other hand sounds like a good guy to keep around for various reasons. Big Show could have easily taken himself way to seriously at any point in his career and Vince (who loves big men) would have been forced to book Show like Andre, but Show was and still is a team player which is why he has jobbed to pretty much everyone and done a ton of stupid other shit that a guy who is legit a once in a lifetime wrestler probably shouldn't be doing.

It looks like they are trying to go all the way to the end of ECW with this continuing dump. The latest episode up is November 25, 2000, which is only a month from the end. Lots of gaps still, though.

Wonder if or when they will go back to the beginning and fill in those gaps

The best online analysis I've heard about their Network show is, "Edge and Christian were funny back when it was funny to be dumb." That said, I cannot look away and am actually amused by the frantic editing of spontaneous wrestling ephemera.
