Sidebottom Posted September 4, 2015 Report Posted September 4, 2015 They just aired an ad promoting the airing of the CM Punk "Best In The World" doc. Trying to slash those DVD royalties Quote
MikeCampbell Posted September 12, 2015 Report Posted September 12, 2015 The 1/13/97 Nitro, probably most famous for DDP's full babyface turn, has a nice little bonus feature. They show the entire Hogan/Giant main event, which "aired" during the commercial breaks the premier of TNT's new Robin Hood TV series. Quote
ZThomas Posted September 12, 2015 Report Posted September 12, 2015 I wish Austin wouldve asked Christian about his retirement, or do they not want to bring us his Concusion? Quote
Jmare007 Posted September 18, 2015 Report Posted September 18, 2015 Table for 3 with New Day was really fun. Quote
artDDP Posted September 20, 2015 Report Posted September 20, 2015 Table for 3 with New Day was really fun. Yes, it was. I hope they have more of these planned. Quote
Matt D Posted September 20, 2015 Report Posted September 20, 2015 Table for 3 with New Day was really fun. Yes, it was. I hope they have more of these planned. Madusa/Molly/Ivory, Sting/DDP/Vader, Owens/Cesaro/Ambrose. That's what I read at least. Quote
Beast Posted September 20, 2015 Report Posted September 20, 2015 Hadn't heard Sting/DDP/Vader. That sounds amazing. Quote
pantherwagner Posted September 20, 2015 Report Posted September 20, 2015 Also Charlotte, Natalya and Tamina, but I'm not sure how could you air that one now. Quote
pantherwagner Posted September 20, 2015 Report Posted September 20, 2015 Hadn't heard Sting/DDP/Vader. That sounds amazing. If the editing isn't good it will be 30 minutes of DDP talking about himself, his yoga, all the people he's helped from the goodness of his heart and then about himself some more. Quote
Sidebottom Posted September 21, 2015 Report Posted September 21, 2015 Bunch of new ECW TV's up including Hostile City Showdown 96. Pretty sure this was the first ECW match between Sabu / RVD... which means ECW's best ever show The Doctor Is In can't be far away!! Quote
pantherwagner Posted September 21, 2015 Report Posted September 21, 2015 I may have given the entire ECW run a shot chronologically if they had uploaded the 1994 and 1995 commercial tapes. I wasn't a huge fan back then (I was already watching much better stuff in New Japan or AAA at the time) but I still found it a fascinating promotion. It's just that if you don't have the big shows the TV is a series of infommercials including some good, some bad and some terrible stuff. I'm looking forward to the new JBL talk show where he'll have "WWE legends" as guests (Bischoff, Simmons and Road Dogg have been announced). Quote
rvd356 Posted September 22, 2015 Report Posted September 22, 2015 Jesus I gotta stop posting when I'm high. Always in wrong place Quote
Sidebottom Posted September 22, 2015 Report Posted September 22, 2015 If anyone's interested at this point in time, there's DDP hosting a Top 10 WCW moments under "Originals" uploaded just now. Quote
Sidebottom Posted September 22, 2015 Report Posted September 22, 2015 I'm a martyr for the board and I watched it for my sins (I'm just a sucker for the new uploads really, no matter what they are). Unless you really want to see Scott Hall jump the rail, Rey Mysterio get spiked into a trailer or Jericho read his list of holds again, avoid. Quote
El-P Posted September 22, 2015 Report Posted September 22, 2015 And not even Vince McMahon buying WCW ? Color me disapointed. Quote
KrisZ Posted September 22, 2015 Report Posted September 22, 2015 I thoroughly enjoyed the JBL interview with Bischoff last night as you got to hear a perspective that isn't the WWE narrative Quote
WingedEagle Posted September 22, 2015 Report Posted September 22, 2015 With Brock/Taker potentially ending next month, is there any chance Austin's relented and they'll use the podcast to kickstart him vs. Lesnar at Mania? Quote
pantherwagner Posted September 22, 2015 Report Posted September 22, 2015 I thoroughly enjoyed the JBL interview with Bischoff last night as you got to hear a perspective that isn't the WWE narrative It was somewhat surreal - not because of the stories that we have already heard 100 times - but because it was a WWE product. Bischoff is always a good interview, though. Quote
Coffey Posted September 22, 2015 Report Posted September 22, 2015 With Brock/Taker potentially ending next month, is there any chance Austin's relented and they'll use the podcast to kickstart him vs. Lesnar at Mania? That would be huge & have me pretty hype, I won't lie. Which makes me sound like such a huge hypocrite as I've been complaining all day today about WWE's reliance on old stars & being grumpy about Kane, Big Show, Jericho & The Dudleys. Quote
The Chief Posted September 22, 2015 Report Posted September 22, 2015 I really don't want to see Austin, a guy who retired due to "a stack of dimes problem" wrestle somebody who's entire offense is based on dumping people on their heads. Quote
El-P Posted September 22, 2015 Report Posted September 22, 2015 I love how every three months, the "Austin at Mania" rumour comes back. It just won't go away it seems. Quote

Bischoff is always a good interview, though. Eric's been pretty vocal about WWE's version of history being bullshit so I'm kind of surprised they picked him. Quote
jushin muta liger Posted September 23, 2015 Report Posted September 23, 2015 The Legends with JBL show was really good. It felt like I was watching something that wasn't supposed to come out from WWE cause it wasn't over produced or edited to hell for certain stuff. I'm interested in Part 2 and his convos with other guys. I know Ron Simmons is in one so maybe he get candid about the issues he had when he left WCW and other stuff. Quote
Johnny Sorrow Posted September 23, 2015 Report Posted September 23, 2015 I enjoyed JBL, businessman, praising Bischoff for taking a money losing company and turning it around. Despite what happened eventually, Bischoff did accomplish that. I also really enjoyed JBL's interviewing style. He was prepared, engaging, calm, and knows how to move things along while allowing the guy he's interviewing to be the focus. Quote
Sidebottom Posted September 23, 2015 Report Posted September 23, 2015 Add me to the list of those who enjoyed Easy E and JBL, it was a engaging watch. Quote
