RCS1988
The next mass update should be TNT, PTW, and World Championship Wrestling.
Sidebottom
Next mass update seems to be adding 1999 Nitros. Â That's going to be hard work for me, I hate 99 more than 2000 because it doesn't have at least the train wreck value of it all.
sek69
As a side note, I'm watching NXT and they're running an ad for the WWE Network gift cards. I just realized that ever since they've launched those cards, I have yet to see them anywhere. Not at Target, not at Best Buy, not at the large supermarket chain here that has every other gift card known to man. Â Anyone else see them in the wild anywhere? PhilTLL
Walmart has them. Maybe exclusively? I don't recall that part.
...TG
Walmart has them. Maybe exclusively? I don't recall that part. I think this is correct. I remember something in the Observer to that effect, and this press release only mentions Wal-Mart.
C.S.
They're definitely exclusive to Walmart. It's even mentioned in the ad.
MikeCampbell
I just rewatched the Flair/Bischoff match from the 12/28/98 Nitro. As a sixteen year old Four Horsemen mark, I was going absolutely nuts for this.
joeg
Just got the network with the 1 month free. So far have watched Starcade 83, some Midsouth and some ECW TV from Nov 95. People say Hardcore TV doesn't hold up, have to disagree, Cane Dewey is still as amazing as it was when I saw it over a decade ago.

It ruins Sandman and New Jack matches to have their music overdubbed since that was all those guys had.

C.S.
WWE 24 (WM31) and Ride Along (New Day and Dolph/Miz) were pretty solid.
Migs
WWE 24 (WM31) and Ride Along (New Day and Dolph/Miz) were pretty solid. Â The idea that not only do faces and heels ride together, but that the promotion would show it, is probably enough to make Bill Watts keel over. Nobody tell him. Â Very intrigued to watch, have enjoyed it when they did versions of Ride Along on Total Divas - seems like obvious material.
Migs
They seem to be doing another Nitro dump - they are up to July '99 and have filled in a bunch of gaps in '98 and '99.
The Chief
Odd that they leave in Megadeth but they still dub over Jericho's WCW theme and Ernest Miller. Â Both Jericho's WCW themes are production library music so there shouldn't be an issue. The Cat's "I'm The Greatest" theme I THINK is by Jimmy Hart/Howard Helm so not sure what the issue would be there?
Death From Above
Considering how much WCW contracts were shuffled between departments would it really be that surprising if the rights to music were equally obtuse to decipher? I could believe it.

They have replaced most (if not all) of the "Jimmy Hart versions" of songs where Jimmy would rearrange the beats enough to where they were legally different to the original. I don't know if the law has changed or what. I'm assuming that WWE run a Shazam style software that automatically detects songs that need to be changed. Edwin
Expect a big ECW content dump soon I hope they fill in the gaps for 1993. It sucks because I'm watching the TV shows from 93, but got cut off before and after Novermber to Remember and November to Remember from that year isn't on there.  1993 ECW was nuts. I had seen some stuff here and there previously, but never had the chance to follow them as closely during those times. Anyway... There's one TV episode with Don Muraco, Kevin Sullivan and Jimmy Snuke vs. Terry Funk, JT Smith and Abdullah the Butcher which is a match straight out of a WAR semi main event from Sumo Hall. MikeCampbell
They finished up 1998 and are more than halfway done with 1999 for Nitro. One of the last things to go up was the 9/14 Nitro with Flair's return, which should have been one of the first. For as much as Tony's hyperbole gets mocked, his proclamation of Flair's return and subsequent promo probably is the greatest moment in the history of that TV show. Zoo Enthusiast
I was so ready to cancel the Network after the Rumble, but then Nakamura/Zayn became a thing and they added all this Nitro.

victory
This is my third time around having the Network. I'm enjoying it more this round and will probably keep it for awhile. My only gripe which is minor, I wish they would make it easier to find a select match on say a PPV or TV show. Fast forwarding and guessing where the match I want to see is a minor annoyance. Seems like it wouldn't be that hard to add a listing for each show where you can select the match you want to view. Maybe down the road. On my Fire stick, most archived shows are indexed so you can skip to the beginning/end of matches.
