Migs
The only thing about WWECW is that they were pushing You Know Who right up to the week of everything hitting the fan, and that might make them reluctant to put that up. It's really only a couple of weeks he was there, though. He got drafted to ECW right before he was erased from history. Coliseum Videos are a good call, too - pretty sure a lot are digitized and it would be pretty easy chum for the fans of older stuff.
Jimmy James
One thing about WCWSN if they do it is when to stop. Didn't it become a nothing show pretty shortly after Nitro debuted? If Thunder was bad from 1999-on, I can't imagine how awful WCWSN must have been. e) I hope they get to the hilariously bad cyberpunk set, though. That's my favorite bad studio set in wrestling history.
flyonthewall2983
I remember Saturday Night as being okay up until about '97. The sci-fi set was bad (even as a young mark I hated it compared to the set they had at the time which was pretty cool), but I liked the theme music and loved how they would have it play under the video re-caps they would start the show with. If I had to guess, once they finish up with Smackdown, they'll get to putting up much more Prime Time Wrestling, and hopefully Superstars/Challenge. I wonder when they'll put up the WWF's original syndicated show, before Superstars/WC.
sek69
There was a time around 1999 or so where they let Jimmy Hart book Saturday Night more or less in it's own universe which was pretty good.
goc
I wouldn't even assume there is some next big project planned once they finish Smackdown but they have prioritized Monday Night War era stuff so I would expect if they are going to upload anything it will be Thunder. Hawkeye12
There was a time around 1999 or so where they let Jimmy Hart book Saturday Night more or less in it's own universe which was pretty good. The 2000 era after Duggan found the TV belt in the trash was pretty fun. Faced off with Robert Gibson, Steven Regal (who I believe put his career up since he was ready to go back to the WWFafter getting clean), and Fidel Sierra in title matches. Then when Russo stripped all the belts, the TV title just disappeared altogether. It was also fun to see all the Natural Born Thrillers in 1999 before they hit Nitro the next year. hammerva
I could have sworn I have seen Bruno vs Steele cage match on a Coliseum video once. I don't think it is that much of a hidden gem.
Johnny Sorrow
That all looks awesome. Especially Flair vs Rogers. I don't care if it stinks, that's a PWI legendary match.
flyonthewall2983
Do they shoot in 4K now?
Lee
Seems to me like the Festival de Lucha match was cut down to the first fall, presumably to highlight Chris Jericho since he gets the win. Unless contemporary reports from those taping are inaccurate (by which I mean, I read the taping results online), Jericho's team lost. They don't report that it was 2/3 falls, though they also don't report Fit Finlay being at ringside or their being two referees either. sek69
Going through the New Day Collection, and my god those intro videos/first couple of promos. Reminded me of how WWE has done a better job with them than even with Daniel Bryan in convincing people that them getting over they way they did was the plan all along. sek69
A new Legends with JBL just dropped with Stan Hansen, could be an interesting watch.
C.S.
A new Legends with JBL just dropped with Stan Hansen, could be an interesting watch. I watched it last night. Fun as always, but I'm not sure there's any new information contained in the interview - and I say that as someone who is far from an expert on Stan Hansen's career. The Thread Killer
Apparently, the Jimmy Hart episode of Legends will be the final show.
MikeCampbell
WCW 01/27/1999 – Festival De Lucha Konnan, Rey Mysterio, Hector Garza, and Silver King face a team led by Chris Jericho in a bout from WCW’s unaired pilot ‘Festival de Lucha’. What an odd way to list the match. I assumed that Benoit was on Jericho's team, since it's so vague.

sek69
Looks like the rest of the Smackdown catalog is the latest content dump. Glad to see they are moving quickly since it soothes the OCD types and hopefully gets them closer to getting back to adding actual classic content. Also they are adding a HOF 2017 category with the Rock n Rolls in a new-to-the-Network match against the Midnights in a Mid South tag team title match. Johnny Sorrow
I love Legends With JBL, but this is another example of the fact that most subscribers aren't interested in classic content. It stinks cause the show is basically shoot interviews but with a professional host who did research.

Glad to see they are moving quickly since it soothes the OCD types and hopefully gets them closer to getting back to adding actual classic content. I'm personally waiting for the B-shows. Namely WCW Thunder, Saturday Night, Main Event, Worldwide and old WWF Velocity shows. Mostly WCW Saturday Night though, especially pre-Nitro. Zenjo
The latest Legends With JBL is a fun watch. It had the atmosphere of two guys catching up over a beer. I'm not sure it contains anything ground breaking, but Hansen is someone I could listen to for hours. He comes across as someone very content with his life and career, with no bitterness and few regrets. They mainly cover his early years in wrestling and the 80's. JBL seems to think Stan and Brody were the greatest tag team of all time, which is a rare opinion. There isn't much there about the 90's. flyonthewall2983
Rare but not surprising given how much JBL's style owes to those two. I'm a little sad they're letting that show go by the wayside.
goc
I really liked JBL's interview of Jimmy Hart. Too bad they're pulling the plug on that show because JBL was way more prepared than your usual shoot interviewer.
sek69
The 2011 Smackdowns are starting to upload now, nearly completing the SD library just in time for the network's third birthday on Friday. Also WWE.com announced there will be a George Steele collection uploaded on Friday as well. Probably going to focus on the Savage stuff and the TNT skits where Captain Lou was teaching him how to talk, but they might slip a few 70s matches in there as well.
