I thought the match was okay. Similar in vain of Cena/Wyatt where parts of it worked, but overall missed the mark. The crowd seems dead. Did that 1st segment burn them out?

Thought it was a * match and a ***** experience for me to laugh like an asshole. Died howling when some guy yelled "You suck" audibly while the crowd was still in stunned silence.

A shame they did this after reinforcing Brock as just a guy since the HHH feud. I guess Brock vs Bryan will be the big match this year now.

I suspect Taker probably has had enough of the obligation of defending the streak. Part timer or not, Lesnar is a guy who the Taker likely had a lot of respect for as a physical specimen and fighter. Losing to Lesnar appeals to Taker's ego than a loss to John Cena who has zero actual credibility as a tough guy.

Surely he has someone retire him for the rub? I was hoping we'd get matches with Daniel Bryan, Roman Reigns, Sting and John Cena before he retired. Wonder if those will ever happen now. What a weird ending, they were obviously hoping the crowd would be going crazy over the near falls, but then why give it such a terrible build? Was it a recent decision? Because if not you have to wonder why they made such a mess of booking the match.
