anarchistxx Posted February 23, 2015 Report Posted February 23, 2015 Sting has the worst haircut since Shawn Michaels at Survivor Series 2002. Makes him look so old and haggard. Quote
goodhelmet Posted February 23, 2015 Author Report Posted February 23, 2015 When did Sting get Ric Flair's hairdo? Quote
shoe Posted February 23, 2015 Report Posted February 23, 2015 That was pretty drawn out, Easily could have been in done in a lot less time. Quote
anarchistxx Posted February 23, 2015 Report Posted February 23, 2015 When was the last time Sting has a great singles match? As far back as Vader in 1993? Can't remember much hype for any of his TNA stuff. Quote
Exposer Posted February 23, 2015 Report Posted February 23, 2015 HHH-Sting Confrontation - Yawn. Quote
Childs Posted February 23, 2015 Report Posted February 23, 2015 The problem with the Sting -Trips stuff is it leads to a Sting-Trips match. Quote

Can't remember much hype for any of his TNA stuff. Â I'd say his last great match was vs. Regal at the 96 Bash. A lot of people also like the 99 DDP match. Quote
JerryvonKramer Posted February 23, 2015 Report Posted February 23, 2015 Â When was the last time Sting has a great singles match? As far back as Vader in 1993? Can't remember much hype for any of his TNA stuff.Vs Flair vs Luger, Starrcade 95 Quote

Superstar Sleeze Posted February 23, 2015 Report Posted February 23, 2015 Framing this as WWF vs. WCW seems like a really strange decision. Especially with supposedly heel HHH cutting promos waving the WWE flag. They have switched directions for the better. It is Triple H angry that he lost his job because of Sting which is a legit reason to be pissed. He threatened to efface Sting from history if he didn't play ball since WWE owns history which is a douchey thing to do. I think they have crafted a really smart narrative for this feud. Still don't care about the match Quote
hammerva Posted February 23, 2015 Report Posted February 23, 2015 So with Sting not talking is basically tells us that this match is all about WCW going out of business which is really stupid given that it is 2015. Â The highlight of the segment was that one loud Memphis guy telling us that "YOU STARTED IN MEMPHIS". Good one of the 50 people in that building that remember the Bladerunners in Memphis. Quote
WingedEagle Posted February 23, 2015 Report Posted February 23, 2015 I don't get why Sting can't speak. Brock has Heyman as a mouthpiece so its fine, but this pointing and poker face nonsense doesn't feel right for building the match. It worked fine during the original Crow angle because it was so drawn out and pretty clearly built to a title match, but with the way this story was laid out it could use some actual storytelling. Quote
anarchistxx Posted February 23, 2015 Report Posted February 23, 2015 Loved the Bellas trying to spray tan Paige. They should do more fun stuff like that to build feuds and less generic random heel beat downs and handicap matches and the usual boring repetitiveness. Looking forward to this. Â The pointing at the sign is well overdone this year. Quote
Mini Bennett Posted February 23, 2015 Report Posted February 23, 2015 Not a good night for Lillian Garcia. Quote
WingedEagle Posted February 23, 2015 Report Posted February 23, 2015 If they want to sell fitness DVDs then NIkki should make one. Quote
elliott Posted February 23, 2015 Report Posted February 23, 2015 So basically HHH ran him down and then got the better of him when it came to brawling. Really? Â I enjoyed Sting using the bat as if it were a sword. Quote
anarchistxx Posted February 23, 2015 Report Posted February 23, 2015 The crowd for this show is dreadful. Quote
NintendoLogic Posted February 23, 2015 Report Posted February 23, 2015 That transition to Paige's comeback was really ugly. Quote
Mini Bennett Posted February 23, 2015 Report Posted February 23, 2015 When was the last time Sting has a great singles match? As far back as Vader in 1993? Can't remember much hype for any of his TNA stuff.A small group of guys pulled some decent stuff out of Sting during his TNA tenure. Austin Aries, Jeff Jarrett and AJ Styles spring to mind. Â I think Triple H vs. Sting will be fine if it doesn't go any longer than 15 minutes. Quote
JerryvonKramer Posted February 23, 2015 Report Posted February 23, 2015 I don't get why Sting can't speak. Because he's not a very good promo? Â I thought that segment was the best and most engaging thing on this show by a country mile. I also liked the tribute to the late 90s with HHH cutting a semi-shoot promo. Quote
anarchistxx Posted February 23, 2015 Report Posted February 23, 2015 Decent match, another terrible finish though. So lazy. Probably the most enjoyable thing so far on the show, which isn't saying much. The girls deserve more time. Quote
Childs Posted February 23, 2015 Report Posted February 23, 2015 The finishes on this show have really sucked. Quote
shoe Posted February 23, 2015 Report Posted February 23, 2015 A solid body of a match with another rollup variation on a finish. Quote
Exposer Posted February 23, 2015 Report Posted February 23, 2015 Nikki vs. Paige (WWE Diva's Title) - Bad match. Bad finish. Lots of poor finishes tonight. Quote
