And I hate this company.

It was the right booking.

You're probably right, but I was way into the match and that pulled me right the fuck out. No interest in Rollins at all. No interest in the fallout. I just wanted to see a great match end with a great finish.

The match itself was incredible, and deserved a clean decisive finish. One of the best stories they have told in years and the way they built and managed the match was flawless. It set up so perfectly for Roman Reigns to win with the blood and the ring post and the quick, lethal capitalization.

Money In The Bank is a horrific gimmick and completely devalues the strap. Was a fun novelty at first, but not anymore. Why have an intense, drag out, desperate battle for the belt when some guy can just come from the back and beat the exhausted champion?

The novelty value of Seth Rollins as champion will wear off after another six months of neverending authority promos to open Raw.

Brock Lesnar vs. Roman Riegns
- The first minute was sick… great fight with Brock bloody…. German… .F5
- Oh shit… SUPLEX CITY BITCH!!!!!
- Oh fuck… that clothesline!!!!
- Brock is bleeding from the mouth from the kicks to the mouth
- Man, that kickout of the 2nd F5 leading to Brock being busted open to Brock staggering after every Superman punch was EPIC!
- The fucking blood!@!!!!
- The fucking MONEY IN THE BANK CASH IN WAS GREAT AND BOOKED PERFECTLY!!!!!!!

Summed it up, spot on. The MITB cash ins normally nothing, this one was perfect. The match before that went way beyond what I had expected or hoped for. Reigns busted his ass and laid it into Brock. Brock was Brock. They get me to think Rollins was going to squander that cash-in too.

Brock Lesnar vs. Roman Reigns

- Lesnar is the best fucking thing going in the business right now. If they let him do his kind of match I don't think he can produce anything less than great.

- Huge kudos to Reigns who took a ridiculous beating and did the job. This should be appreciated by crowds going forward.

- CASH IN. Still trying to wrap my head around it. Love the visual of Rollins with the belt at the end. Think I might've preferred it after a finish rather than interrupting the match, but it really was brilliant as this way you only have one fall, Reigns still looks like a warrior after that match, and Brock is still the fucking lord of war.

a million bajillion stars. 4.5 sound right, maybe give or take a quarter on a rewatch this week.

EDIT: Big kudos to them for not sticking to the formula of a babyface standing tall at the end of Mania. Shocking, awesome, original. Loved it.

This show was a big win. Don't look now, but Roman Reigns has had outstanding matches on consecutive PPVs.

One of the best WM main events ever. Stiff. Felt like a shoot at times. Reigns smiling with the blood coming out of his mouth the more Lesnar laid it in. Lesnar getting posted to set up Reigns come back and bleeding out of his skull, and multiple super man punches with Lesnar using the ropes to stay on his feet like a fucking bull. Rollins cashing in actually made him come off like a smart heel for a change. Great main event from start to finish.

Can you imagine the final round of Mayweather v Pacquiao, Amir Khan running down to the ring completely fresh and cashing in his contract and getting to box the worn out champion for a few more rounds? That is how ridiculous this charade is, unbelievable that they have run with it for ten years.

Finish absolutely ruined what was a brilliantly worked championship match, that far exceeded the hype and told a wonderful story.

I don't want the Wrestlemania main event to be an example of smart booking. I want it to give me a visceral sense of culmination.

You wouldn't have got that from Roman Reigns capitalizing on his lucky break with the ring post dazing and bloodying Lesnar, throwing every finisher he has at him and finally slaying the beast against all odds? That is about as definitive a culmination as you will get.

The brilliant part about the booking was that we were all worked. We got so into the match that a lot of us forgot about Rollins.

It actually occurred to me a few times during the match. When he came down it was a sense of 'here we go again, how grimly predictable'.
