dawho5 Posted June 6, 2015 Report Posted June 6, 2015 Crossface had made a suggestion earlier to start a new thread with rules/promotions/etc. all laid out at the beginning. Seems like a good idea instead of having to wade through 20 pages of stuff to find specifics. Maybe add in the particulars of who comes with each promotion as well. Quote
JHawk Posted June 6, 2015 Report Posted June 6, 2015 Man, starting with Bobo Brazil as your save is brutal. Have you seen that roster? There isn't much else to choose from. Quote

Beast Posted June 6, 2015 Report Posted June 6, 2015 I would also like a list of tag teams that are eligible to be drafted. Not letting the Von Erichs be drafted as a two or three-some was surprising, so I'd like to know who exactly is part of that rule. Â Also, I assume that if someone is part of a tag team, you can still draft them as a solo worker? Quote
TravJ1979 Posted June 6, 2015 Report Posted June 6, 2015 Yes. A new thread with everything laid out in the first two posts: Â 1: Player - Promotion Assigned - Saved Talent + Complete set of rules (what/who each promotions comes with, etc.) 2: Available Talent split by Talent/Managers/Freelancers/Not Available in Draft/Other Quote
Grimmas Posted June 6, 2015 Author Report Posted June 6, 2015 At zoo will make rules post later, but I laid everything out a few pages back Quote
El Boricua Posted June 6, 2015 Report Posted June 6, 2015 I think Boon and Peachchaos are the only ones left to make their save picks. Everyone make sure to review the wrestler list Kris was gracious enough to compile and make any final comments about who is missing, freelancers, etc. Quote
dawho5 Posted June 6, 2015 Report Posted June 6, 2015 Should we start working on a draft order? Quote
Beast Posted June 6, 2015 Report Posted June 6, 2015 It should either be ordered by promotion size (Largest to Smallest) or random, correct? Â Maybe we can start voting on that in here. Quote
El Boricua Posted June 6, 2015 Report Posted June 6, 2015 Another possibility could be by quality of saved wrestler. At the moment, I lean random. Quote
KrisZ Posted June 6, 2015 Report Posted June 6, 2015 If you went by market size  WWF AWA World Class Mid-South CWFGCWMaple Leaf International PNWCentral States JCP Southwest WWC WWA CWA Stampede Southeastern ICW Quote
Beast Posted June 6, 2015 Report Posted June 6, 2015 I'm for random, but I didn't mean market size, more popularity. Whatever the order of promotions are in the TEW mod (Cult, Regional, Small, etc...) Quote
Beast Posted June 6, 2015 Report Posted June 6, 2015 Well we can't randomize it until we agree to do random. Otherwise feds that are low, like me, won't want to do random. Quote
Beast Posted June 6, 2015 Report Posted June 6, 2015 Just for posterity, what would be the order from TEW, with the big three on top (WWF, AWA, and JCP) and each promotion in order of influence. Quote
JHawk Posted June 7, 2015 Report Posted June 7, 2015 Just for posterity, what would be the order from TEW, with the big three on top (WWF, AWA, and JCP) and each promotion in order of influence. The initial TEW rankings seem weird. Mind you this is from January 1 and not July 1 so this might not be 100% accurate, plus unless there's been an update I missed ICW is not actually in the TEW mod. JCP would not actually be in the top 3. Â AWA WWF World Class GCW CWF JCP Maple Leaf Southwest Memphis Central States Mid-South International Stampede WWC PNW Southeastern WWA Quote
KrisZ Posted June 7, 2015 Report Posted June 7, 2015 Yeah ICW was running basically a couple of shows monthly by this time Quote
Beast Posted June 7, 2015 Report Posted June 7, 2015 Wow, I wouldn't expect Mid South to be so low, but then I'm more familiar 85/86 for that. Â Well, what does everyone want to do? Quote
KrisZ Posted June 7, 2015 Report Posted June 7, 2015 I like using random.org to randomize each round Quote
Beast Posted June 7, 2015 Report Posted June 7, 2015 I like using random.org to randomize each roundI like this. But its going to require people to check in after each round to find out the new order. Maybe if a mass PM is sent out along with each new round. Quote
Cross Face Chicken Wing Posted June 7, 2015 Report Posted June 7, 2015 I say random.org for round 1, snake for the rest of the draft. Â ......we need a commissioner type to just decide some of this shit. Quote
JHawk Posted June 7, 2015 Report Posted June 7, 2015 While random is the only chance in hell I have, I'm not opposed to any other method. I'm more focused on how I'm going to book the first few months. Quote
JerryvonKramer Posted June 7, 2015 Report Posted June 7, 2015 Whether you draft first or last, it will be skill in booking that counts. Quote
goc Posted June 7, 2015 Report Posted June 7, 2015 I wouldn't mind seeing at least the first round weighted towards people who have nothing to start with as their save like WWA. Â Also that TEW list is not even worth reading. In what world was Central States a bigger territory than Mid-South? Quote
