artDDP
The crowd popped for Kane so that means six more weeks of this.
goodhelmet
Eh, fuck Kane... just fucking leave already.
Exposer
Seth Rollins vs Sting (WWE Title) - This was real good too. Sting took way too many crazy bumps for his age. I liked the finish okay, but I'm wondering if Sting was legit hurt. Kane's return was hilarious. Be ready for Kane-Rollins at Hell in the Cell. Ready_Willing_Gable
haha, I don't even know what to think of that. DA DEMON KANE. very good show though
Jmare007
It's gonna be hilarious when Kane interferes in Taker vs Brock at HIAC too
SteveJRogers
Welp, Rollins is almost certainly set to break Punk's Post WM IV Title Reign record at this point!
Slasher
So stupid. Sheamus can't cash in when Kane leaves? It isn't 11 pm yet!
Hobbes
Have to think that the Sting injury was real. It did not play into anything afterwards and they went straight to the finish. Given how scared Vince is to book older wrestlers, have to think that was Sting's nail in the coffin, which is bad because he was doing very well (Albeit a bit gassed) in a late 90s style WWF brawl. Ricky Jackson
Good show but by the end I remembered why I only watch the big shows and haven't seen a Raw since January
Childs
So stupid. Sheamus can't cash in when Kane leaves? It isn't 11 pm yet! There you go with your "logic" again.😀
WingedEagle
Apparently i'm in the minority but have no problem with Rollins-Kane if it means Rollins keeps the title for a while, and more importantly keeps it away from Sheamus. Underneath Brock/Taker and a presumably solid Cena match it'll be fine.
Benbeeach
demolition derby sting is sneaky guilty pleasure. No idea what to make of any of that after the injury (work/shoot?) Before hand I dug it. The table bump was good booking, makes it believable that Seth could dominate after going 20 with Cena, also needed to happen because your stout young champion shouldn't be getting dominated by a 50 year old for extended time no matter the circumstances, even if Sting has veered into almost mythical undertaker level strength booking in the past. He damn sure isn't that guy anymore. ...kane, ending a PPV, in 2015. Just gotta laugh and chalk it up at this point. It is what it is, we know what we signed up for
Matt D
The best thing about Sting is that he forces everyone not to work the super indy style.
Parties
Sheamus has had two botched cash-ins in the last month. Maybe a third that I'm not remembering? Having him look that dumb each time cheapens what's already a really cheap banana peel gimmick. Â Cesaro as the mystery partner would have been great, but every 45 year old Attitude Era worker in North America would need to be trapped in a mine shaft before Vince booked him in that spot. Â I haven't watched the show yet, so I can't judge it fairly, but looking at these matches the roster feels threadbare when it really isn't. Barrett, Kidd, Bryan, Rowan, Goldust, Christian, and the Usos are all inactive/injured/presumably retired. Dallas, Slater, Swagger, Fandango, Henry, Sandow, Lynch, Banks, and the PTPs: not booked. Strowman, the Ascension, the Dudleys, Charlotte, Jericho, and the Demon Kane: booked.
Benbeeach
The best thing about Sting is that he forces everyone not to work the super indy style. Â At some point every old timer goes "...fuck it, I'm Foley now" and it's always entertaining. A true pro will always bleed for us, when they have nothing left. The ecchymosis on stings arm was gruesome, but put a sort of sick perverse smile on my face
sek69
I'd venture a guess that Sting bruised/broke ribs either on the powerbomb to the corner, or some point prior and that was just the point of no return. Bad ribs hurt like a motherfucker and the way he just folded gave the impression he couldn't catch his breath.
Matt D
The injury actually protects Sting a bit.
Ready_Willing_Gable
With a bit of digesting, as pants as it was, I'm fine with the Kane thing. He shouldn't have to go out as Bizness Kane. And I'm sure plenty of people got a kick out of seeing the mask again. Remember being young? EricR
Overall I thought that was a really fun PPV. I actually enjoyed every single match on the main card. None of them were blowaway, but I enjoyed all of them. High floor, low ceiling show. 3 WAR show. Real value, unspectacular on paper.
rvd356
Seth wore the white alternative s? Awesome! I loved Cena-Rollins 1 more than most. I agree there was some bad spots in psychology like the super plex into falcon arrow, but the crowd do love it, but that's the problem you burn them on thee big moves and what do you have? Â But I didn't think it was at all like a Davey Richards match come on. I mean same ball park but I lik to think of him as an Eddie-Shawn -trips combo.... Â Anyway I can't wait to see the 3 titles matches when they ar up. How did Sting-Seth match up to say Sting-AJ?
Slasher
Sting was in a much better shape when he was wrestling AJ so it isn't a fair comparison. I thought the match went pretty well considering Sting may have gotten injured. The only thing for me was that Sting really did look too old to be wrestling. He was kinda wobbly, slow, almost foggy. It is funny you mention the Eddie suplexes, as I actually thought Rollins should have added another suplex in there between the suplerplex and the falcon arrow. The spot is absurd so why not go all the way with it? I did find it weird that in both matches Rollins did a lot of spots that involved deadlifts and/or holding on to his opponents to do more moves. It makes me think Rollins must be a whole lot stronger than he looks. It was a weird contrast to his babyface centric high flying stuff. Maybe if he stuck to the deadlift stuff and turned up the Honky Tonk Man stuff he could finally be a good wrestling heel.
