goodhelmet
But I have one big compliment for him! He's responsible for Motörhead getting a shitload of new fans!!!! ... Actually he maybe deserved a top 100 spot just for cashflowing Lemmy... Shit. I take all my critique of him back!!!! All hail the King of Kings!!! This X 1000. I have been a Motorhead fan my entire life. When I saw the documentary "Lemmy" I realized that Trips was as big a fan as I. And Trips did a ton for Lemmy and Motorhead. And Lemmy loved Trips. And with apologies to Austin Aries, Lemmy was the Greatest Person Who Ever Lived. So if Triple H loved Motorhead, and Lemmy loved Trips, there is no possible way Trips can be all bad. Lemmy really was one of the most real, authentic people ever. Seeing Lemmy and Trips talk about each other in various interviews, and seeing Trips give his eulogy at Lemmy's funeral made me like Trips a lot more as a human being. Does that mean Trips deserved to be in the Top 100? No. But it was interesting to me. And if you don't like Motorhead and you don't understand Lemmy? Well, I don't mean to be judgmental, but you deserve to get some sort of open sores all over your body which continue to worsen until you eventually expire in agony. And your last words should be "I was wrong about Lemmy. Please play "Killed By Death" at my funeral." There, I said it. "Killed By Death" will be played at my funeral. Cap
I am pleasantly surprised with how high Koji landed. I love him, but I feel like people in general aren't as high as I am on him. Dynamite Kansai was another one I was pretty happy about getting a good spot. Koji would have absolutely made my 100, easy and Dynamite probably would have as well. .... then I saw they both fell behind...... him......... Cap
HHH 12th best of all time, god damn. He truly is a master worker if he's convinced someone he's that good. He convinced no one that he was the greatest wrestler ever though.... ergo, he is no Big Poppa Pump.
TheU_2001
Next targets of wrath: - Undertaker - Bruiser Brody - Kurt Angle - Chris Jericho - Sting - The Rock And holy cow, El Generico is still here? All were on my ballot. I had HHH at 20 on my ballot.
Death From Above
Triple H is not one of the 120 best wrestlers with the letter H in his name, never mind overall.

elliott
Its the Kurt Angle thing that is starting to worry me. edit: Unless the people voting for him are giving him credit for Sharknado 2. Which I would understand.
victory
I can't believe Andre is still there. Really puzzling to me. I'm old enough to have seen him live and he isn't a top 100 guy or even top 150 guy. Sure he had an awe to him, i just don't like him much past that anymore. I know we were only supposed to judge guys on footage, but I can't erase what I saw.
Jimmy Redman
No Angle I get, a certain type of fan is going to rate him highly. Also, Cesaro hasn't dropped yet?? I assumed he was out already but I don't see him on the list.I still have 75 guys left as of #120. Less damage than I was expecting. My highest man to fall was my #32. WingedEagle
Angle/Sting/Jeff Hardy & the like shouldn't be such huge surprises at this point. It feels like a very modern / Monday Night Wars type of list -- skewing more heavily towards that universe than would perhaps have otherwise been expected. goc
This whole process has been arguing over opinion so I don't get the idea that its out of line to question the opinion that Bigelow is one of the best big men ever. What is the evidence to back it up? Where are the great Bam Bam matches? What did he do better than the big men who ranked below him other than do moves off the top rope? I mean I really like Bam Bam in his first year when he was in Memphis but that was really the best run of his career and the only way I could understand his ranking is if he stayed that good his whole career. But he didnt. No one really argued for him in his thread.

Now if we were ranking best tattoos in wrestling or best wrestler cameos in movies I could see Bam Bam doing real well there.
Jingus
Bigelow also helped keep a certain mystique about himself by rarely staying in any promotion for very long. He rarely stayed anywhere for longer than a year or two. It didn't give the fans much chance to really get sick of him through familiarity and overexposure. The same thing helped Sid and various other fed-hoppers keep themselves fresh over the years. I still like his ECW work a whole lot, he did fun stuff with a wide variety of different guys. But in terms of single performances, Wrestlemania 11 has gotta be mentioned. He took LT by the hand and carried him to easily the best non-gimmicked singles match in Guest Celebrity wrestling history. In comparison, Big Show had a bunch of weapons and an entourage of run-ins and a buncha other stuff to help him smoke-and-mirrors the Mayweather match. Taylor and Bigelow kept their whole match inside the ring without any gimmicks at all. That's REALLY hard to do with a non-wrestler, there's good reason why most celebrity matches tend to be tag bouts.
PeteF3
I thought Bigelow had a hell of a run as Vader's partner in 1991-92. No, he wasn't as good as Vader, but his stock shot up in a fairly big way watching that stuff again.
Matt D
I'm a big fan of Bigelow's WWF run in January 93-January 94. The Bret match in MSG, the one in Europe, the Tatanka Rumble match in 94. The fun tag with Yoko vs the Steiners. But it only takes him so far in a case here.

Matt D
That's one very fun thing about the list. Someone who knows the historiography of wrestling fandom will be very confused by it. "How does Andre, Dusty, and Hogan place in the top 120 except for on drawing or reputation or star power, but then Brody and Tiger Mask don't?" Then they can just assume it's WWE history bias of course and dismiss the thing, but that's not what's going on at all.
Ricky Jackson
The more I think about it the more I'm really disappointed Bruno didn't crack the top 100. Fuck it, I should've pulled a Jack Webb and slotted him at number 1 and maybe that would've put him over the top. And Fredo, er I mean Parv, you broke his heart

JRGoldman
Thinking about this tonight: Is anyone else surprised that Dr. Death hasn't popped up yet? I always got the distinct impression that I was on an increasingly lonely bandwagon. Perhaps the increase in ballots was to his benefit. I hate to throw the phrase around for someone I actively still enjoy, but he seems like a "reputation guy" as much as anyone left.

Loved him as the last Ace in UWF with the Gordy and Murdoch matches from the 80s set. Good tag team matches with Dibiase there too. Then there are the new discoveries from NWAClassics adding to to his case. Plus he is a guy who just had that bad ass aura about him. Brock vs Dr Death is one of my big dream matches.
