Edwin
Ricochet got that massive pop.
The Thread Killer
This show is off to a horrible start, I just spilled poutine gravy on my monitor. That band was too loud. The rock musicians are too loud nowadays. *shakes fist*
The Thread Killer
Did Mauro Ranallo really just say "Velveteen Dream dropping elbows like DJ's drop the needle?"
NintendoLogic
The impromptu Richochet-tossing contest is my spot of the year so far.
Stiva
As lame as Adam Cole may be, he's at least over I'm taking that as one for one
El Dragon
That was a fun as shit ladder match, but man Adam Cole is the boringest possible winner of that match.
...TG
I covered my eyes in fear like six times during that match. Some of the spots required a bit too much setup for my liking, but that was some nutty shit out there.
Coffey
That ladder match was insane.
DR Ackermann
That ladder match was long.
Slasher
Pat McAfee is a retired NFL punter, he has no business doing this---but I agree with Johnny. He is awesome. The guy is trying to be a media personality and was/is doing some pro wrestling training. It's not like he's Art Donovan. I didn't realize he was involved with pro wrestling before. That's cool. I just didn't expect to see him on NXT, that's all. I am all for WWE finding talents in weird places. I am still holding out hope that DeAngelo Williams tries out WWE. Childs
I feel like Ive lost the ability to say whether those WWE car-crash matches are good or not. I know they no longer interest or shock me, despite the danger.

Stiva
Would love to think that Rhonda at ringside is planting seeds for feuds with Ember and Shayna in the future
The Thread Killer
I feel like Ive lost the ability to say whether those WWE car-crash matches are good or not. I know they no longer interest or shock me, despite the danger. Yeah, that's the problem with those matches, isn't it? The law of diminishing returns. That ladder match was about as good as you're going to see for a match like that. I did enjoy it, but I cringed a number of times. While I enjoy those types of matches on a visceral level, I think they're too dangerous and probably shouldn't be done. The participants have to constantly try and outdo what others have done before or risk being labelled as boring or unexciting. Edge claims (and I have no reason not to believe him) that the Ladder and TLC matches he did in WWE took years off his career. I'd rather see a guy like Ricochet or Velveteen Dream stay healthy and have a longer career. Great match, but some of those spots were just so damn dangerous. ...TG
That match was better than the reaction the crowd gave it. Shayna is what they hope Ronda can be.
Edwin
Shayna pulling her own hair to keep the rear naked choke on was beautiful. It took too long for Ember to fade to it though.
Grimmas
The ladder match was insane. The women's match was insane! Both made my database for sure. Loved the story of Basler-Moon with the shoulder work, the popping it back in with the ring post, Eclipse to the floor and the choking out using the hair, because arm was dead. Fucking loved it. SmartMark15
They had to follow the ladder's match which is sad but the women worked hard and told a good in-ring story. I'm a big Shayna Baszler fan too so I enjoyed the result as well. Good stuff.
Childs
Baszler-Moon was really good in the broad strokes, if not always in the details.
Stiva
I don't want to say it but Paige looks totally fucking out of it in these promos for her biopic.
ZThomas
That match was better than the reaction the crowd gave it. Shayna is what they hope Ronda can be. Its going to be a long time before Ronda gets close to that good. Not any fault of hers but just limited ring experience.
El Dragon
Are the Authors of Pain the best "NXT Developmental Project" ever at this point? I mean I don't count Braun or Elias much, but the AOP are so damn fun now a days.
William Bologna
I never watch NXT so this is all new to me, but Baszler and Moon are both great. And yes, Paige was definitely intoxicated when they filmed those promos.
