C.S. Posted October 10, 2019 Report Posted October 10, 2019 Glad they didn't turn MJF yet. Too early to do that. They have to assume most of their audience has no idea what BTE is. But they probably do need to explain this next week for those same folks.

Rocco Posted October 10, 2019 Report Posted October 10, 2019 I'm really looking forward to the future Wargames match their building too. Â
peachchaos Posted October 10, 2019 Report Posted October 10, 2019 That was so good I think I'll just watch the replay. Â
Mad Dog Posted October 10, 2019 Report Posted October 10, 2019 I fucking loved this episode. Homerun from start to finish this week.
SmartMark15 Posted October 10, 2019 Report Posted October 10, 2019 Just finished the show and my god, two weeks of me being a satisfied customer guys. All the little things they do add so much to the overall presentation. I was halfway through the show when I realized that the nameplates displayed each wrestler's win-loss record. That's crazy to me. Such a subtle touch. And that main event angle? Perfect retaliation for the Inner Circle beatdown of last week. Allin skating in to take down Jericho had me SCREAMING.

Ricky Jackson Posted October 10, 2019 Report Posted October 10, 2019 Most fun I've had watching wrestling in ages. They've really got something hereÂ
sek69 Posted October 10, 2019 Report Posted October 10, 2019 I'd be interested to see how these first to weeks of excellent TV have done to move the remaining tickets that haven't sold for upcoming tapings.
SmartMark15 Posted October 10, 2019 Report Posted October 10, 2019 That show ending brawl was so delightfully layered and paced to get the maximum reaction for everyone and to move everyone's stories forward. It's crazy how well booked that was.
sek69 Posted October 10, 2019 Report Posted October 10, 2019 Assuming the photo of that shiner AEW posted was legit, looks like Bea stiffed Britt again.
Tim Evans Posted October 10, 2019 Report Posted October 10, 2019 Week 2 was way way better than Week 1. Everything made sense and advanced stories. No stupid celebrity stuff and some good wrestling. Private party vs Young Bucks was the best "making a star" match I've seen in years. Big props to the Bucks for that. Only thing I didn't like on the show was the commentary. JR was awful and it seemed to affect the other two. Especially during the women's match and Pac in the Moxley vs Spears match.
Alucard Posted October 10, 2019 Report Posted October 10, 2019 Love it. that show ending brawl was tremendous, perfect chaos and builds this anticipation for next week
SmartMark15 Posted October 10, 2019 Report Posted October 10, 2019 Janela-Omega Lights Out was the dark main event.

Looked legit to me, although I probably missed the exact spot when it happened. At this stage...if it's legit, why are they keeping Bea Priestley around? Surely, they can find women that can work safer than her? Other than that, tremendous show this week. Premiere last week was good but tonight was fantastic. Legit stunned at Private Party going over the Young Bucks but with the post-main event shenanigans, it made sense.
Coffey Posted October 10, 2019 Report Posted October 10, 2019 It cracks me up that Jim Ross seemingly has nothing to say about AEW Women’s Champion, Riho, other than she’s small, under 100 pounds & has to do a lot because of it. BAW GAWD HER HEART! Can someone show him some Spike Dudley matches or something?Â
The Thread Killer Posted October 10, 2019 Report Posted October 10, 2019 Yeah, I'm a JR fan but he was off his game this week...and his whole grumpy old man shtick isn't helping. At times he comes across like he's actually trying to antagonize Excalibur.
Slasher Posted October 10, 2019 Report Posted October 10, 2019 I hated the whole WWE vs AEW thing going on with the fanbases, and that sort of colored my view of AEW. But I can't remember the last time I was actually looking forward to the next episode. Like Ricky says, they've got something good on their hands. Keep it up.
Blehschmidt Posted October 10, 2019 Report Posted October 10, 2019 Don't forget JR talking about what he is going to eat every time they mention what town they are going too!! But seriously, that show was great. I liked week 1, and I think week 2 was a TON better. If they can keep this up, the sky is the fucking limit. and yeah, let's get rid of this Bea chick if she can't not hurt people. Tons of talented girls out there who are better workers and manage not to hurt people. Hire Miyu Yamashita!
FMKK Posted October 10, 2019 Author Report Posted October 10, 2019 If this is actually true it's pretty hilarious. Kevin Smith was apparently meant to go to Smackdown on Friday but the invite was pulled once WWE saw him on Dynamite.
