So far I've managed to get autographs from Bob Orton, Nikolai Volkoff, Terry Funk, Ted Dibiase and the Iron Sheik via the mail. Funk even drew a little state of Texas on an index card for me. Also got my Ivan Koloff 8x10 from the Kickstarter. Little bummed with that as the pen was dying it looks like.

DDT is my #2. Love DDT shows.
-
I'm 2 episodes in and really enjoying this.
-
Sorry I meant 2 years ago.
-
I had heard they packed off after Jay had made several homophobic comments on Twitter last spring.
-
I would also watch CMLL if I had access to it.
-
I barely watch anymore. I watch NXT, Chikara, NJPW, DDT, Lucha Underground and AAA and that's more than enough to keep me busy. I just don't trust them. Everytime I find something to latch onto it's like they make a point of ruining it. The 3 hour Raws also keep me away. It's just tedious.

I remember Mikey Whipwreck mentioned how much he made for the handful of times WCW used him. I want to say it was 160k.

I really like IVP's download service. You get the ISO so burning is easy and it's like a $1.39 per disc. He misses a show here or there and you might have to wait for some shows too.

I'm guessing Styles wins the belt here and Okada wins the New Japan Cup in March and then beats Styles for the belt in the early summer.
-
I was lucky enough to get two tickets to the NXT Columbus show.
-
I looked. Konner has been in developmental off and on since 2005. I remember him from Deep South. Viktor has been around since 2011.
-
They'e both been in developmental forever.
-
I'd also have to find the dates but the Iron Man belt winning itself and then Jun Akiyama winning it is pretty funny.
-
What do you recommend picking up? I've mostly watched a lot of random stuff on Youtube. The camp ground battles are hilarious if you can find those. Kenny Omega vs. a blow up doll named YOSHIHIKO is absolutely hilarious. I liked most of the stuff I've seen with Kenny Omega, Dick Togo and Danshoku Dino.

IVP has 50% off of their DDT DVDs. That means $1.50 a disc if anyone is interested.

Best of CMLL 2014 Vol. 2: 1. Negro Casas, Puma, Tiger vs Black Panther, Blue Panther, Cachorro (Arena Mexico, 01/07/2014) 5. Negro Casas, Puma, Tiger vs Black Panther, Blue Panther, Cachorro (Arena Mexico, 01/14/2014) I liked these two matches quite a bit. The second match built off of the first match as things were more heated. I love how Negro Casas cheated to pick up the win in the first match and Blue Panther returned the favor in the return match. I'm really looking forward to seeing their singles match on the next volume. I like the angle of Blue Panther mentoring his kids as well. Negro Casas has been really great so far. 2. Rush, Stuka Jr., Titán vs Rey Bucanero, Terrible, Virus (Arena Mexico, 01/07/2014) This was okay. 3. Máscara Dorada, Místico II, Valiente vs Kráneo, Mr. Águila, Reaper (Arena Mexico, 01/10/2014) Kraneo might be my new favorite wrestler for his entrance here. Match was pretty fun. 4. Volador Jr. vs Negro Casas (Arena Mexico, 01/10/2014) I didn't care much for this match. I've never really been a fan of Volador Jr. though. Negro Casas was good here though. 6. Delta, Super Porky, Valiente vs Boby Zavala, Dragón Rojo Jr., Pólvora (Arena Mexico, 01/14/2014) This was fun for what it was.

I went with the $40 one. I really wish they would have done what other Kickstarters do and just add rewards instead of giving you different configurations of the same rewards.
-
That female announcer they added to CMLL broadcasts is brutal to listen to. Thank god she doesn't talk very much.
-
The Apter mags did briefly recognize the NWA World Title as a World Title again during the later part of their TNA association.
-
I'm talking 1986. I started with Superstars and Wrestling Challenge from their debuts forward. I'm a couple of months in.

There's just been a couple of moments where I've just wanted him to shut up. He comes across like he's trying to hard to be the cool guy during interviews and stuff. He doesn't play off of the wrestlers as well as Mean Gene. In the booth, I think Bruno has been part of the problem. I might change my tune once I start pushing into spring and summer with just him and Vince.

I'm going strictly by the 1980s here. I thought Gorilla was pretty good. He wasn't as partisan with the face/heel dynamic at this point as Vince was. He would rag on the heels but you could also tell that there were heels who he respected for their technical prowess. It hasn't come up yet but I still love how he always talks about Greg Valentine being a slow starter. Valentine will be getting owned in the early goings and you'll have Monsoon sitting there saying "remember folks, sometimes it takes Valentine 10-15 minutes to really get warmed up in there." I know when I watch house shows that I'm always crossing my fingers that it's going to be Vince or Gorilla doing the commentary. Watching Superstars and Wrestling Challenge from the start. Jesse Ventura has bothered me more than Gorilla Monsoon has. I wasn't really expecting that to happen.

I would have to watch the stuff again because I haven't seen it in awhile.

4. Máscara Dorada, Valiente, Volador Jr. vs. Averno, Mephisto, Último Guerrero (Arena Mexico, 01/03/2014) I liked this match quite a bit. A pretty furious third fall with a lot of fast paced action. I was really surprised by the end as the tecnicos seemed to be setting themselves up for failure but pulled off the win here. It's crazy to see that Negro Casas and Ultimo Guerrero can still bump like maniacs as long as both have been around. This was probably my favorite match on this disc. 5. Eléctrico, Astral, Stukita, Shockercito, Último Dragoncito, Demus 3:16, Mercurio, Pierrothito, Pequeño Olímpico, Pequeño Nitro (Pequeno Reyes del Aire, Arena Mexico, 01/05/2014) This one was better than the first elimination match. I don't care for these elimination matches or the minis in general but this was enjoyable enough.
