Talk about a dream match I never thought was possible. Also, "Monty Janetty" is Jack Pfefer level.

Tag Teams Back Again Episode 22: Love and Rockers
peachchaos replied to Ricky Jackson's topic in Publications and Podcasts
It really is a blast. I'm walking through this era of WWF and this podcast is a really great companion. I didn't fully realize you guys were wrapped? on hiatus? Would absolutely love to hear a top 20 countdown show at some point. -
I cried earlier this year during the Piper's Pit when I watched that great Road to WM3 - Hogan vs. Andre comp. The story of a meteoric friendship coming to an end, plus falling in love with Andre as a worker over the past decade, made it all so emotional. Andre clearly deserved a title shot and Hogan knew it would be the end of their bromance. Andre reacted violently and abusively and now Hogan has to step up and show who is the alpha dog. My tears were for Andre because I really believe he deserved to be Champion and it broke me to see him have to do what he had to do.

[1983-06-12-MACW-Savannah, GA] Greg Valentine vs Ric Flair

Only the Funk-Hart match shows up in the All Japan Archive. Color me intrigued. -
Kevin Sullivan in his debut as "The Master" in SMW.

not to mention Lawler's signature move is a fist drop from the 2nd rope

Hard to beat Garvin smacking jobbers around the WTBS studios. I also really enjoyed Buzz Sawyer's rugged mat game in 82-83 GCW. '96 Taz dropping Spike and Mikey on their heads every week was a lot of fun too. Sid in '92 where they'd put the wimpy on a stretcher after the slaying. Flair is easily one of my least favorite squash workers. He just gives way too much and doesn't have an impact finisher so it either takes too long to set up the F4 or falls flat.

Right, All Japan didn't run any shows in Sept. '78.
