So Russo's idea is a Cena heel turn, a run-in, a ref bump & then Heyman switching to Cena from Lesnar (whom he spelled the name wrong of every single time) with Cena winning with a briefcase shot after Lesnar kicks out of all finishers. The same Lesnar that just ended the Undertaker's 22 year streak at Wrestlemania...

Yeah, no.

It wouldn't be as horrendous an idea if Brock had the makings of a great babyface and was gonna come back and work full time. I think if Bryan was healthy and they were doing a Bryan/Cena rematch, this wouldn't be the worst idea.

I finally saw the much-talked about Eva Marie-Bailey match from NXT last week. Guess my "hopes" were too "high", I didn't think this match was one of the "worst ever". Certainly ugly (from a technical standpoint), but not anything like Jenna/Sharmell.

Something is wrong about Eva's selling, she looks like she's smiling while taking holds. She looked like she might have been stiff on some of her kicks as well. Eva had a fairly competant suplex spot, at least.

In related news, did anyone figure out or get fancam footage of Eva Marie winning on Raw, celebrating beind the ring, then shown mysteriously knocked down? Only guess I have is that JBL blew a dart at her during the Paige poem.

Eva carries herself in the ring like a normal person that just so happened to be in a wrestling ring. Maybe you go to a show and the rings still set up so you do a few moves you know, you're kinda smiling, laughing along the way, etc. She has no instincts after months and months of training, none.

If WWE books Cena to go over Lesnar tomorrow... Jesus Christ, no words.

I'm in the mind that Lesnar is winning the title as the most likely scenario, how he does it though is a matter of personal dispute for me. See, the problem you have is that WWE likes to greatly protect Cena in spite of losing situations. He rarely loses completely clean (I believe Daniel Bryan at Summerslam last year was the first time in years) when he is booked to lose, and he hasn't fallen to submission since 2004. To put that into perspective, everybody who has worked at some point as the "top guy" since that time - Triple H, Shawn Michaels, Randy Orton, Batista, CM Punk, have all lost via submission on more than one occasion.

The main reasons is the "never give up" aspect of Cena's gimmick and how WWE enforces it. Unfortunately, this works against the suspension of disbelief, because whenever Cena is booked in an I-Quit or Submission match, everybody knows he's coming out on top, in the absence of screwiness. Still, we knew the streak was never going to end...

The whole purpose of Brock winning the title, seems to be part of a long term plan to put somebody over big and build them as the next top star. Whether that person is Roman Reigns or not doesn't particularly matter. What matters is WWE is laying the foundations for an astronomical pay off for "the one" who ends the reign of terror that Brock brings. It began with Brock ultimately getting the best of Triple H in their three match series, being booked as dominant throughout, in spite of one loss. It then progressed to Brock battling and coming out on top against CM Punk on Heyman's behalf. We then saw Brock destroy Mark Henry and Big Show, before he ended the Undertaker's streak. Now he's set to take the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.. With that in mind, here are some victory scenarios which would greatly enhance the Brock threat:

- Brock makes Cena tap out to the Kimura.

- Brock makes Cena pass out in the Kimura, forcing the referee to stop the match and award the victory to Lesnar.

- Brock dominates Cena to the point he is unable to continue the match and the referee awards Lesnar the victory.

- Brock wins the match via TKO, ground and pound style.

Let's not overlook him calling Renee Mike McGuirk either. :D Or that they completely forgot about Roman Reigns Vs. Randy Orton...just like everyone else has!

I think everyone is so completely and utterly sick of Randy Orton. He elicits groans from me at this point. It's not that he's bad - he's actually a very good wrestler - just stale and boring. It's almost a shame that he didn't pop the racist employee in the mouth and get fired instead of ADR. A stint in AAA or Japan - or anywhere, really, that takes him away from the WWE for a year or two - would do wonders for his career and longevity as an act.

I totally agree that these scenarios would enhance Brock as a threat...but I think him winning with an F-5 or two isn't going to kill his momentum or anything. I expect that to be the finish and I think its the right way to go. For example, last year, it would've probably cemented Bryan even further if he had one with the Yes Lock, but him debuting that knee-to-the-face move was so killer and he didn't suffer at all from not making Cena tap.

I'd also add say that, in these "big match" situations with two powerhouses with such established finishers (F5 & FU) like we have here, I'd prefer the suspense and thrill of a 3-count finish rather than a submission one.
