Coffey
Who comes up with the names for these categories? "LOL moment of the year?" "OMG moment of the year?" Seriously? It's super awkward to hear people verbally annunciate those acronyms. "el oh el moment of the year!" - Lilian Garcia.
Mini Bennett
On the slim chance the audience does remember this, provided Charlotte gets the machine fully behind her why does it even matter.

El Boricua
There have heen some odd winners tonight. Not that strong a reaction for the Superstar of the Year (mostly screaming ladies).
The Chief
This "stepping up" shit is gonna get annoying real quick. Reigns is getting pushed regardless, it's so transparent when they point to him as the guy who's following Austin's advice or whatever.

Strummer
I actually think the build to TLC has been damn good considering they only had two weeks. Much better than the hype for Survivor Series IMO

El-P
Charlotte, the NXT champion, the daughter of Ric Flair, jobbing in a nothing match for her first Raw appearance while trying to put on a figure-four. Clap-clap-clap. Roman Reigns is already annoying as fuck as far as I'm concerned. Most shocking thing to me : I'm currently watching 1990 USWA, and going from Lawler being awesome and hilarious to, well, what he is today, makes it even more striking how low he's fallen. TRMD
I just watched Reigns accept his award, and while he wasn't great, he actually seemed more relaxed on his "promo" than I think I've heard him to date. Just letting shit flow. He's certainly gotten at least a little better. And his pop was pretty decent. Regardless, what a horrible way to bring someone back. KrisZ
Michael PS Hayes @MichaelPSHayes1 · 47m 47 minutes ago I love how some people think the Roman win was rigged, guess we rigged the Jericho win too, just to have a real awkward moment, votes r real
goc
The whole Roman Reigns hatred on the internet feels completely divorced from the reactions that he gets on TV and probably on house shows when he's active. It's one of those current trends that I don't understand like Dolph Ziggler love and thinking that Bray Wyatt was some huge missed opportunity. I know everyone's sensitive to throwing around accusations of "group think" but when I read the DVDVR Raw threads that are like unanimous in their hatred of Roman Reigns that's all I can think. WingedEagle
Do people hate Roman Reigns? Or do they just not see him as being anywhere near a level commensurate with his supposed positioning at Mania?
goc
On DVDVR they're predicting "Die Roman Die" type reactions ala Rocky Maivia if they go with the Reigns/Lesnar idea. And apparently he's a bad promo because he "sounds rapey"

Do people hate Roman Reigns? Or do they just not see him as being anywhere near a level commensurate with his supposed positioning at Mania? This. At least in my case. I don't hate Roman - I like him well enough - but he's nowhere near ready to main event WrestleMania or even be in the main event scene at all. shakla
The Slammys are rigged, right? Because how else would Roman Reigns win Superstar of the Year? He's not that over. I'm leaning toward that direction, although considering many of the winners (and several additional nominees) were MIA, seems like you would rig it to have people who could make it win awards. It was telling when they had that backstage shot of all the Diva of the Year noms, probably the only award where everyone was present. Although in the first year (I think) of the current Slammys incarnation, Maria won Diva of the Year, despite not being pushed as a top Diva and just langushing (this was right before her release). So I think that poll was legit, at least.
El Boricua
I'm fine with Roman Reigns in terms of what he potentially may become. He's not there yet. I find it amusing that the last guy to receive such a push was Brock Lesnar (who is the planned end game for Reigns). I start to compare where Brock was and what he had accomplished in the lead up to the Rumble in 2003 with where Reigns is now. It's a marked difference in terms of accomplishment and preparation. I think what should be more troubling is that Reigns winning is leading to rigged voting remarks. It's an indication that what WWE has done with Reigns is lacking in results for what they want/hope him to be. And that's on the WWE brain trust not Roman Reigns. Strummer
I don't really mind Reigns but I think the crowd is going to turn on him if he's pushed over Ambrose during Mania season (spoiler- he will be)
fakeplastictrees
The problem people have with Reigns is that he is not there yet in the ring. The guy has good spots but doesn't know how to tie them together in a meaningful way. He has a good look and presence and at times can be convincing on the mic but for some reason it still feels like his 'casual' promos are scripted. I refuse to believe WWE is letting Roman just go off script and come up with his own stuff. Getting exposed is a motherfucker and if/when Roman becomes WWE champion and is THE number one guy going against guys like Cena, Ambrose, Rollins, Lesnar, etc. it most likely will not be pretty. He seems like a nice guy who loves the business so I hope he can succeed, but there is definitely going to be some backlash when people see someone like Ceasaro working his ass off in the dark-match and Reigns looking to hit his 5 moves in the main event. funkdoc
yeah reigns isn't a disaster or anything, he just feels a bit underwhelming compared to his push. also a lot of internet fans probably see him as being in direct competition with ambrose for obvious reasons. i echo the comments about his promos still feeling unnatural, and he comes off awfully video-gamey in the ring. cm funk
I wouldn't be surprised one bit if they rigged Superstar of the Year and all the other votes were legit given some of the results. And if you've ever voted on their App, the setup is terrible with super small print where you can easily tap on the wrong name and not know it, with no confirmation of your choice. It's like their app was designed by Diebold Orton not being nominated for Superstar of the year was really strange Jericho winning was funny because back when he did that spot in the opening match of RAW Seth Rollins went out in the main event and did the same thing The match of the year choices were a joke
