That was an excellent match, bunch of guys got some shine and Roman was booked really well. Goldust and Rey formed a bit of a dream team at the end there.

Usos, Rhodes Family & Rey Mysterio vs. The Shield & American Pie

- Hell, has there ever been an elimination Survior Series match as good as this one? I can't think of one off the top of my head. Everyone looked pretty damn good and I loved how the Shield came back and tied up the odds and then got the win in the end. You can tell they are going to strap the rocket to Reigns real soon.

That match was great. I love Rollins' new finisher. Guess we all need to get ready for the Reigns singles push.

 

Does anybody else cringe every time Rey takes a bump?

The match was alright, it was clearly just there to make Reigns a star, which I hope it did.

 

Way too rushed. Cesaro and Goldust both looked great.

I thought that match was really disappointing actually. Still good, but not nearly up to how it looked on paper. Reigns big comeback killing everyone with spears was awesome though and his last one on Rey looked great.

Man, they gotta give Reigns the Batista training system. No Flair and HHH to learn from and travel with but give Dustin 3 months with the guy and he'll do wonders.

Rey/Usos/Rhodes vs. Shield/Real Americans

 

This was really good although some of the booking was bad. Ambrose's elimination was terrible. The Dustin FIP section was great though and Cesaro looked real good here. I didn't particularly like his elimination but it made sense as he was dizzy from the giant swings. The Usos were nuts in this and stiff as fuck. Both Reigns and Rollins were excellent in this and of course Dustin was awesome. Rey was good and still has tremendous timing. The last few eliminations were well done and the finish was great. This is the start of Reigns big push.

Good match. Not as good as the 2003 elimination match. t was hurt by WWE's new love of booking handicaps that favour the babyfaces, which killed the crowd for some parts. Happy for Reigns.

I liked the elimination match a good bit, but I wanted more from Goldust and Cesaro who both looked awesome when they were in. I thought the crowd went a bit flat over Cesaro was eliminated, though the Usos did a good job working them back into it. I love Reigns so I was happy with all of that and I thought the match as a whole was good, maybe even very good, but great? Didn't feel that way on first watch.

 

Also I have no clue how Will doesn't love Zeb. He's about the only guy in the company at this point that I actually look forward to hear cut promos.

Wouldn't be surprised if Roman Reigns wins the Royal Rumble. I feel Reigns & Cesaro are the future. Reigns, barring injury, is going to be huge.

 

EDIT: McGillicuddy still sucks.

I don't find anything compelling about his promos at all. This isn't Dutch playing guitar in his house with Lance Russell or talking about Vietnam.

 

As for the Elimination Match, I enjoyed the entire thing including Ambrose's early elimination.

Axel tries. He's just not over and I dont think he ever will be. They need to get Big E away from him fast, because he has shown that he can get over and works well for a guy of his build. Decent enough match, but zero heat

Decent match. Both guys worked hard. Crowd understandably didn't give a shit. I hate Big E's new music.

Big E/Axel something of a surprise in being a perfectly enjoyable short undercard match. Some fun well worked exchanges and Axel seemed to be working hard.

Big E. looked good. His offense is really impactful despite his shitty finisher. The fans were being dicks and chanting for Ziggler who is just as boring as Axel is at this point. Whatever Boston.

Don't get me wrong because I love Reigns but it is disappointing they only strap the rocket on the big guys.
