shoe Posted October 8, 2016 Report Posted October 8, 2016 I hope we get an option for more classic content. Quote
goc Posted October 8, 2016 Report Posted October 8, 2016 I hope we get an option for more classic content. They aren't even thinking about that option as it wasn't part of any of the surveys that went out about tier plans. Quote
flyonthewall2983 Posted October 8, 2016 Report Posted October 8, 2016 I think classic content will always keep being added. They seem to be wishy-washy about it but they'll come around eventually. I really wish, with regards to the classic stuff, that what they had done from the beginning was just add stuff incrementally every week or every two weeks instead of just throwing it on whenever. hammerva Posted October 8, 2016 Report Posted October 8, 2016 The concept of giving the fans a HOF vote is so funny given how much of a work/vanity piece the current version is. Quote
flyonthewall2983 Posted October 8, 2016 Report Posted October 8, 2016 I wouldn't be surprised if it's just people within the McMahon's inner circle that votes on who gets in or not. Not even in-ring talent. Quote
Ricky Jackson Posted October 8, 2016 Report Posted October 8, 2016 It's just Vince and nobody else that "votes" Quote
victory Posted October 8, 2016 Report Posted October 8, 2016 I read about this early today. I'll stick with the third tier if this actually happens. Quote
sek69 Posted October 8, 2016 Report Posted October 8, 2016 It's just Vince and nobody else that "votes" Â He has final say of course, but clearly other people make suggestions. We wouldn't have had Savage, Warrior, and Bruno in if it was only Vince's suggestions. Quote
Migs Posted October 8, 2016 Report Posted October 8, 2016 I would be pretty interested in having the ROH archives (and the TNA archives a bit, if only to dig back into Styles' work). Quote
Al Posted October 9, 2016 Report Posted October 9, 2016 Selling the vote is never great, but still better than letting fans vote on a humanitarian award using twitter hashtags (referring to MLB's Roberto Clemente award). Quote
SteveJRogers Posted October 9, 2016 Report Posted October 9, 2016 The concept of giving the fans a HOF vote is so funny given how much of a work/vanity piece the current version is. Especially considering how wonky and trollish internet groups can be. I can see a ballot slate though as opposed to a mechanism that would allow Chris Benoit to be inducted. Quote
Loss Posted October 9, 2016 Report Posted October 9, 2016 Let's just talk about the Network, please. There are other places to talk about the rest of it. Quote
Stiva Posted October 9, 2016 Report Posted October 9, 2016 WTF? Â tonight WOR Meltzer reported WWE is highly considering a multiple tiered network subscription. Free, 4.99, 9.99, and 14.99. The 14.99 would allow subscribers to vote for the HOF every year, and WWE is working on deals with ROH and TNA to stream their content on the network. Â Man, the world is weird. The last 2 years of WWE has played out like fan fiction Quote
El-P Posted October 9, 2016 Report Posted October 9, 2016 Basically they finally figured out that their future was the indies. But yeah, seems pretty unreal to be honest. Quote
JRH Posted October 10, 2016 Report Posted October 10, 2016 They just uploaded the most recent Brock documentary as well as the Lawler doc. Quote
Loss Posted October 10, 2016 Report Posted October 10, 2016 I love people voting on the HOF. The company line can finally be, "You fuckers are the reason (Wrestler X) is not in, so SHUT UP!" Quote
SteveJRogers Posted October 10, 2016 Report Posted October 10, 2016 I love people voting on the HOF. The company line can finally be, "You fuckers are the reason (Wrestler X) is not in, so SHUT UP!" RAN-DY-SAV-AGE! Â C-M-PUNK! Â Any other ones? Quote
Al Posted October 10, 2016 Report Posted October 10, 2016 I imagine in practice it would be a vote for one slot, among a group of five choices (or so). They wouldn't give the public carte blanch. Quote
JRH Posted October 10, 2016 Report Posted October 10, 2016 On a side note, is the "continue watching" feature not working for anyone else? I called up tech support and they said that it's an issue happening with all users. Quote
PhilTLL Posted October 10, 2016 Report Posted October 10, 2016 Continue Watching stops working for days/weeks at a time and has since the beginning, as far as I recall. Quote
Hawkeye12 Posted October 11, 2016 Report Posted October 11, 2016 Continue watching hasn't been working for me either. Started Clash VIII before bed for two matches, then woke up and had to fast forward to the spot. It's the first time I've ever noticed a problem though. Quote
Woof Posted October 13, 2016 Report Posted October 13, 2016 Continue watching hasn't been working for me either. Started Clash VIII before bed for two matches, then woke up and had to fast forward to the spot. It's the first time I've ever noticed a problem though. Â I'll only seem to have a problem with it when I switch between platforms. If I start something on my Roku it may not be there when I fire up the iPad and vice-versa. Quote
sek69 Posted October 18, 2016 Report Posted October 18, 2016 The latest Legends episode is up with Bruno, and it's still kind of surreal seeing him on WWE TV in 2016. It's not really too different than the times he would go on with Dave and Bryan, but it's nice to see it reaching a bigger audience. Quote
