sek69
Would be much more optimistic to see them uploaded to a platform they're more likely to remain on than one that could be C&D'd to death at any moment.
Matt D
Good point. Best to watch the 3 years of Mid-South up on that channel asap in case WWE decides to take it down for the two months they have up now and for the next two months they might put up next year. sek69
Speaking of, I wonder what the rights would be for rips of those DVDs Bill's ex was selling before she sold them to WWE. I see rips of other wrestling DVDs out that seem to survive the banhammer, but that might be more luck than any legal standing.
Zoo Enthusiast
Â Â Â I don't think the Rock 'n Rolls got there until '83, but Rude was around as a job guy before that. Â So in this case I guess the reason for uploading these is "just because." I'm all for it! Yeah, I just didn't want to be too optimistic! Whole bunch more right here if you want to be more optimistic about something right here and now:Â https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCzKMa9zvx4rQn7-TPewu6zQ/videos Oh, I'm aware. I just would like more stuff like this on the Network, obviously.
sek69
If you plan to binge the episodes already added, don't skip the 12-30-81 show despite it being a year end retrospective clip show. They go over the Dusty-Kabuki feud and the promo with War Paint Dusty looking like Rambo is beyond words.
Cornette's racket
They've added a lot more 1982 mid south. It's not a complete year but it's not far off and they've put up some 1983 from January.
Kronos
Niiiiiice. Â I have some 1983 Mid-South (and other NWA footage) acquired online, and it's really poor VQ. I can't wait to watch this good stuff - I sampled the oldest ep they had the other day - 1981, I think - and it was gorgeous video. Â Next, please: Georgia and Mid-Atlantic. They used to put that stuff on the 24/7 TV channel. Â Â ETA: Just counted. 51 eps of Mid-South online at this moment.

sek69
So I guess it really was the plan to start adding vault stuff after they filled out the "top three" brands. I would hope the Mid Atlantic stuff is next since there was a pretty full run made available on 24/7. IIRC the Georgia stuff they own looks pretty rough so I wouldn't be surprised if they pass on adding that unless they found better quality in whatever stash they found the Last Battle of Atlanta in. stro
Oh joy, another potentially interesting conversation being ruined by allowing Michael Hayes in the room.

Rough picture quality wise ? Or just bits missing and not complete. Several of the wcw nitros and ppvs have a message at the start about it being "Shown in the most complete form possible" Â I did hear that when wwe got the wcw stuff (which included everything had been assumed by wcw when it bought JCP), that it was supposed to be a mess. Some of it wasn't labeled correctly or at all.

or Hayes will be referee. Bischoff and Cornette seem more diametrically opposed to each other than just about anyone I can think of in wrestling, and that includes Russo and Cornette. stro
Lol at the idea of Hayes doing anything but being a dick to Bischoff and talking about himself

Some of the WCCW stuff had some occasional video warps (probably from being stored in less than ideal conditions in the Texas heat I'd imagine), but the Georgia stuff was just poor from start to finish. I remember people talking at the time half joking that it looked like they ripped it off YouTube.

Kronos
Well, then, more SMW. (though that's pretty easily available in nice quality) But maybe they don't like the way Cornette talks about them. Â WCWSN 1991-92 would work, too. Oh, and where the heck is Championship/Superstars, especially 1983-85? Maybe that's coming once the Raw/SD is complete. Â Not being ungrateful. Just wish-listing. Cornette's racket
Mid south 1982 is practically finished. With there being no numbers on the episodes I looks like there are three episodes missing.

flyonthewall2983
Does anyone have any idea why the Jake Roberts documentary that they produced is not on the Network yet?
JRH
Does anyone have any idea why the Jake Roberts documentary that they produced is not on the Network yet? There's a lot of older docs that arent on there: Hulk Still Rules, The Stone Cold Truth, The Four Horsemen, Cheating Death, Stealing Life: The Eddie Guerrero Story, McMahon, etc. Also, they recently uploaded the Scott Hall doc, but i've heard it's an edited version and doesnt contain the full documentary from the dvd. Can anyone confirm that?
flyonthewall2983
They usually put up 10-20 minute previews when it's about to come out on DVD/Blu-ray. The whole thing might go up eventually, once enough time has passed from the release date.
SteveJRogers
The Stone Cold Truth, 2011's SCST doc is on the Network. Probably no need to upload any older Austin documentary pieces.
