Kickoff Match:Cesaro vs. RVD Jack Swagger vs. Rusev (Flag Match) AJ Lee vs. Paige Miz vs. Dolph Ziggler Chris Jericho vs. Bray Wyatt (Double Pin, No Winner)Dean Ambrose vs. Seth Rollins (Lumberjack Match) Roman Reigns vs. Randy Orton Brie Bella vs. Stephanie McMahon John Cena vs. Brock Lesnar So, looking at this on paper, with no tag matches, this could be a good PPV depending on the main event and lumberjack match or a complete wreck. The Bella-Steph and Cena-Lesnar have been the smartest booked feuds but that doesn't always lead to a payoff. Everything else means nothing to me. He doesn't pin Rusev and they have the rubber match at NOC with Rusev winning clean. I still think Rusev SHOULD win so I picked Rusev. NintendoLogic Posted August 17, 2014 Report Share Posted August 17, 2014 Here's the real deal on Brock/Cena courtesy of some jabroni on Scott Keith's website: According to David Bixenspan of the Figure Four Weekly Newsletter, he reported that even if Lesnar doesn't hold the title until WrestleMania, that does not mean he will not be going into WrestleMania as the champion and to not expect several months of the WWE Champion not being at house shows. Then after Battlegrounds I thought "Hey, Rollins vs Ambrose didn't happen but their first match on the main roster is going to be at SummerSlam and that shall be GRAND". A lumberjack announcement later and while it is likely to be good because of the workers I doubt it'll be anything close to what I was hoping. OTHER THINGS: Jericho vs Wyatt is currently a proven snoozer. Cesaro vs RVD is a complete waste of Cesaro and proven to be meh. Why would I be interested in Ziggler vs Miz? Lee vs Paige hopefully found some chemistry hiding under their pillows because they didn't have it last month. Reigns vs Orton? Getting sleepy just thinking about it. Brie vs Stephanie was being built up rather amazingly until last week where they absolutely jumped the shark and MURDERED my interest. Oh and there is a 2014 flag match. Been doing that and a few times of buffering for me, thought it was because I was using my 360 for the first time to live stream (my PS3 is in the middle of surgery to replace a power supply).
