JRH
I asked this on another board, but might get more responses here: Who are some wrestlers who only had one match in a certain promotion? I'm counting actual wrestlers, no non-wrestlers like Gene Okerlund or Jay Leno. I'll start,Jim Neidhart's one match against Jay Lethal in TNA. Dav'oh
I'm thinking of WWWF MSG one-shots, like Verne Gagne vs Nikolai Volkoff.
PeteF3
Verne wrestled at MSG several times. Guys who I think only made one shot for the WW(W)F do include Tommy Rich, Jumbo Tsuruta, Jay Youngblood, and Billy Robinson.

JRH
On a January 2000 Nitro, Jeff Jarrett wrestled George Steele, Tito Santana, and Jimmy Snuka. Tito and Steele only worked for WCW for that night (Snuka did have matches for GCW/MACW which is part of the WCW lineage).

Rah
Negro Casas in Battlarts. He also may have had a stint in Super Astros, but Casas had a single match in 1983 WWF. That's the most bonkers to me.

Tatanka also did a one off against Lethal the following month in TNA. Chyna's final match, her one in TNA with Kurt Angle vs. Jeff & Karen Jarrett at Sacrifice 2011. I feel like TNA is a probably home of these. Jon Moxley doing a dark match/tryout in 2008 that has since been made available online.
SirEdger
Did El Generico have multiple dark match/tryouts in TNA or was it just one?

Robert S
I wanted to write Akebono but apparently he did a squash before Mania (against Fast Eddie Vegas of all people) and a houseshow in Japan a couple of months later.

strobogo
Greg Valentine in Battlearts made me look him up on cage match, and he did a tour of Big Japan, including a barbed wire death match with Kendo Nagasaki. The fuck.

NintendoLogic
Each of the pillars had one-offs in outside promotions (Misawa in the AWA, Kawada in UWFi, Kobashi in FMW, Taue in DDT). The match with Tenryu against Demolition at WM7 is Koji Kitao's only WWE match. He also had a one-off in AAA. He wrestled Masaaki Mochizuki, who worked the match under the name Hideo No More. I have never seen that match and almost certainly never will (the show wasn't taped and there's no handheld footage as far as I know), but I give it five stars on that basis alone.
