SteveJRogers
Looks like Vader is the first inductee to be revealed...well Leon White is displaying a HOF image on his Twitter account anyway!
RCS1988
This could be the list. Vader Stan Hansen Fabulous Freebirds (Hayes, Gordy, Roberts, and maybe Jimmy Garvin) Owen Hart Cyndi Lauper Demolition (Ax & Smash)
flyonthewall2983
I'm still holding out hope for Haku.
fakeplastictrees
I don't know how WWE can hold this in Texas and not have the 11 Time WCW Tag Team Champions Harlem Heat inducted. It's time for Booker T to become the second 2 time inductee.
Death From Above
I want Vader to shoot at his HOF speech about, you know, basically his entire WWF run. Then announce he's coming back to fight Brock at Summerslam. A man can have dreams, dammit.
Alucard
I think every year Cyndi Lauper should get the celebrity induction, but I could see this year it being Lemmy.
RCS1988
For the Warrior award, it could be Rick the sign guy.
Dewar
They should just let Michael Hayes sing "Badstreet USA" on a loop for his speech.
sek69
I would hope WWE wouldn't have the balls to induct Owen in the HOF after pissing off his wife with the DVD release. The HOF is all about good PR and there's no reason for them to stick their proverbial dicks in that particular hornet's nest.
PhilTLL
The first inductee is Sting. https://twitter.com/WWE/status/686608793082265600
Timbo Slice
Because he was so big in Texas...this also basically takes Taker out of the running. Unless they try and set it up for next year.

Cap
Vader makes a lot of sense to go in next to Sting. They used to sort of loosely theme the class around the headline inductee it seemed. Maybe this is the year they forgive Rick Rude and bury his induction behind Sting, Vader, and a few Texas-centric inductees.
RCS1988
I think Stan Hansen and the Freebirds (Hayes, Gordy, Roberts, & Garvin) are locks. Watching the Austin podcast, and Flair mentions Ken Patera. Patera should definitely get inducted. 2nd IC champion, was the world's strongest man, etc.
flyonthewall2983
I think Rude will be a lock for next year because Minnesota. Freebirds definitely. Hansen would be cool, but it seems that they limit the local thing to just one inductee. I would imagine WWE would have cold feet about Patera because of the McDonald's thing. Unless there's a blindspot I've missed, he has not been someone they've reached out to for things like documentaries or such before.

Johnny Sorrow
And since the McDonald's thing was part of his face turn, I don't think it'd be an issue.

He's on the Hogan-Piper Rivalries episode too IIRC. I mentioned him previously as a potential candidate, could have Mark Henry induct him as a fellow former Olympian strongman. RCS1988
I saw a recent video where some of the names were leaked. They are:The GodfatherJohn Bradshaw LayfieldJacquelineRegis PhilbinFabulous Freebirds (Hayes, Gordy, Roberts, & Garvin) There could be more. Probably Stan Hansen, Tenryu, & Rick Acberger aka the sign guy for the warrior award.
PhilTLL
I hate to bandy about phrases that I don't even really believe apply to something like the WWE HOF, but Godfather is a new low. I did figure they would include Garvin just so Hayes wouldn't have to go solo, and I look forward to seeing his bald airline pilot self showing up just for the jarring dissonance from the Gorgeous One. sek69
Does Jacqueline have any significance other than that one UK PPV where her top got ripped off? Should be interesting for them to put a HOF video when 9/10ths of her run can't be shown on current WWE PG TV.
Matt D
Godfather would be a ridiculous choice from a corporate standpoint.

Godfather had a perfectly respectable career with a wide variety of gimmicks - Papa Shango, Kama: The Supreme Fighting Machine, Kama Mustafa, The Godfather, and The Goodfather - two of which were pretty over (Shango and Godfather). He's easily comparable to Rikishi and miles ahead of Ware (at least WWE-wise). Calling it a "new low" is not only ridiculous, it's inaccurate. Out of all the ladies at the time, she was the one who did that kind of shit the least. She's a former WWE Women's Champion (I think), and as Miss Texas, she was Chyna before there was a Chyna - meaning a woman who defeated men in the ring, not any of the other stuff.
