This on the other hand, is quite heartwarming.

(and yeah, I know some entitled little shits cookie getters already posted idiotic shit about it, but what are you gonna do, the only thing that matters is what those two said to *each other*, privately. No idea what that means for Tessa in term of pro-wrestling considering she had issues in every locker room she was, plus she's back to university anyway, but if at least she grew out of really shitty views or if it was just a misunderstanding, well that's good enough to rejoice either way, the less hatred the better)

Speaking of wrestling families:

Ugh. Looks like Vickie is the latest person universally beloved in the business to be exposed as a garbage human being. Pro wrestlers are the worst judges of character.

Jesus Christ. Turning your back on your children after a traumatic event like this is like one of the absolute worst things that a human being can do

And yes, Vickie, having sex with someone when they are too drunk to consent is sexual assault. You piece of shit.

Evil, repugnant shit.

Um just said she was drunk on the cruise, not black out drunk or too drunk to consent.

It looks like a bad story on first viewing and if its true what Sherilyn has accused her stepdad off. He should of course be prosecuted and face charges for rape.

But of course there are too sides to every story and Vickie has come out swinging and not posted in a very well thought out reply. Which was probably written in anger and Vickie didn't express herself in a dignified way.

Plus who knows what Brain Cage knows about this situation, he probably knows more from working with Vickie than we do and was just giving someone he knows his support.

Let me be clear, i'm not for one moment saying Sherilyn wasn't rapped, but internet justice just doesn't sit well with me.

I like to get all the facts first or leave it to the police to investigate.

Seeing a family torn apart on social media just makes me feel ill and almost dirty. Accusations and counter-accusations and legal threats and innuendo while people who aren’t members of the family all throw in their opinions for retweets and likes and clicks…ugh. I hate social media. The whole thing is just so sad.

The Funks are 3 for 3 w.r.t. WON Hall of Fame, hard to beat IMO.

Eh, I've never seen Dory Sr. wrestle, so I don't know how good he was, and Dory Jr. often bores me to death with his "stoicisim". Terry of course is an easy GOAT contender, far better than anyone the Anoa'i family has ever produced, but that's just one person. So in terms of depth, I don't think the Funks are anywhere near the GOAT family.

This was a much better response than mine, 100% agree with it

Believe victims.

That’s it, that’s the response. Period.

In real life, If you ever come across a person who says they been sexually assaulted in workplace, or a friend tells you it's happened to them or family member get them the help and support them. Report it to the police, don't ever tell them you don't believe them or they making it up. Which is what Vickie should have done, got the proper people to investigate at the time.

Bur online, unless its story's like Vince where he's paid hush money or Joey Ryan where there's too much evidence against him, that's not the response, nor should you disbelieve them. Leave it to the police and courts, as not every victim is telling the truth. Mental health issues unfortunately makes people lie for lot of reasons.

Discuss it online or with friends, but don't direct message them or send hate or hurtful comments to the alleged victim.

But that goes to the alleged person involved as well, as you have no idea if they are guilty or not. You may make a innocent  person commit suicide from the online abuse against them.

Don't forget the story where Megan said she had to sleep with Trent Seven, to stop him sleeping with underage girls. total batshit false story.

The best Wrestling family was either the Graham family (Dr. Jerry, Eddie, Mike, Crazy Luke and Superstar Billy) or The Andersons (Gene, Ole, Lars, Arn, CW, Karl and now Brock.)

Well if we're going that way, then either the Heenan Family and Jimmy Hart's First Family should be considered too.

I put my full faith in the virtuous and commendable American judicial system. They'll sort this all out, yessir.

The justice system is shit, but I also don’t think a coherent, morally satisfactory vision of a post-liberal system of justice has been articulated, either.

Even if you think we shouldn't rush to judgment on abuse claims, it's hard to give Vickie the benefit of the doubt when she responded in just about the worst possible way. She slut-shamed and victim blamed her daughter without actually addressing the allegations. Not quite how you'd expect someone who had been wrongfully accused to react. She could hardly have done a better job if she had set out to deliberately torpedo her credibility.

The October '73 Ring Wrestling tag-team rankings had "Al and Gene Anderson" at no.12. Is it possible that's a typo/mondegreen for "Ole and Gene" or is there a forgotten Anderson?

Ole's shoot name is Alan Rogowski so I'd bet it's just Ole and Gene.

I think he was joking about the judicial system.

Also....

Doesn't Ragemaster have a Kid Rock album he should be listening to?

I understood that he was joking, my point is that there is genuine tension between the desire for Justice on social and political problems and the fact that certain aspects of the legal system, like presumption of innocence and standards of evidence, were introduced for good reasons, too. It’s a tricky problem.
