C.S. Posted November 21, 2016 Report Posted November 21, 2016 at the Miz/Zayn finish. At least the "Survivor Series screwjob" finish happened here and not in a "more important" match.
Grimmas Posted November 21, 2016 Author Report Posted November 21, 2016 After many dead WWE crowds anyone shiting on this one can fuck off. At least they are into things.
JerryvonKramer Posted November 21, 2016 Report Posted November 21, 2016 ***1/2, perfectly solid match built around a body part, with some decent heel shenanigans mixed in.
WingedEagle Posted November 21, 2016 Report Posted November 21, 2016 After many dead WWE crowds anyone shiting on this one can fuck off. At least they are into things. That 10 count nonsense is a crowd into itself. Get over yourself.
KawadaSmile Posted November 21, 2016 Report Posted November 21, 2016 Good match, maybe they are going to turn Zayn/Miz into a longer program? Possibly adding Ziggler to the mix?
WingedEagle Posted November 21, 2016 Report Posted November 21, 2016 Good match, maybe they are going to turn Zayn/Miz into a longer program? Possibly adding Ziggler to the mix? Certainly felt like a finish designed to continue things.

Matt D Posted November 21, 2016 Report Posted November 21, 2016 Tye Dillinger love is high. Thus the PPV ban. The only reason why they went back on it is because demographic changes and the rise of social media have made it so all the crowds are now revolting.

That 10 count nonsense is a crowd into itself. Get over yourself. 20k people really having fun must shit on it. Some things play well on TV. Others play well live. Yet others work in both settings. Is this really such a horribly confusing concept? But hey, you're having fun and want to come ask folks here to validate it. So sure, let's do that.
WingedEagle Posted November 21, 2016 Report Posted November 21, 2016 Nice to see American Alpha batting cleanup in Smackdown's intros.
Coffey Posted November 21, 2016 Report Posted November 21, 2016 Wow, this match is going to be brutal!
El Dragon Posted November 21, 2016 Report Posted November 21, 2016 Rhyno looks so young clean shaven and it's freaking me out.
El Dragon Posted November 21, 2016 Report Posted November 21, 2016 and there goes one of my favorite teams.
WingedEagle Posted November 21, 2016 Report Posted November 21, 2016 My irrational optimism about this show is proving to be quite unwarranted thus far. Miz/Zayn was a solid, ***1/2 affair worked around the leg, but these elimination matches are not exactly delivering to this point.
C.S. Posted November 21, 2016 Report Posted November 21, 2016 Yikes, and you people thought the women's match had rushed pinfalls and shitty psychology...
JerryvonKramer Posted November 21, 2016 Report Posted November 21, 2016 I can't imagine caring about a match less than this one. Are any of these even live feuds? Even the random tag Survivor Series match from 92 had more going on than this it feels like. The t-shirts are one of the single worst things I've ever seen in wrestling.
Al Posted November 21, 2016 Report Posted November 21, 2016 The "brand loyalty" stuff was forced a decade ago and it feels forced now.
hammerva Posted November 21, 2016 Report Posted November 21, 2016 So the New Day getting eliminated in the first minute of the match looks really great when they keep the titles for another 3 or 4 meaningless months I do like Mojo Rawley in the Zubaz pants. I figure he has about 50 of those
WingedEagle Posted November 21, 2016 Report Posted November 21, 2016 It should not go unmentioned how these tshirts make everyone look like a jobber.
Matt D Posted November 21, 2016 Report Posted November 21, 2016 The only things with any stakes are the title matches. If they were going to go this route, they had to come up with some sort of stake other than "brand pride."
WingedEagle Posted November 21, 2016 Report Posted November 21, 2016 I really don't get the shirts. Its not as though they expect Raw & Smackdown to all of a sudden move merchandise numbers, so why homogenize everyone in such fashion?
Coffey Posted November 21, 2016 Report Posted November 21, 2016 PPV will have been on for about an hour and a half when this match is over and if someone turned it on they would not have missed a damn thing. Why did this show have to be four hours long again?
El Dragon Posted November 21, 2016 Report Posted November 21, 2016 I really don't get the shirts. Its not as though they expect Raw & Smackdown to all of a sudden move merchandise numbers, so why homogenize everyone in such fashion? they might think the casuals don't know who is on which brand?
C.S. Posted November 21, 2016 Report Posted November 21, 2016 A much better idea would be to have everyone wear red or blue versions of their normal costumes - gets the same point across without making them all look like bland jabroni jokes.
Migs Posted November 21, 2016 Report Posted November 21, 2016 They always did the t-shirts when they did those filler Bragging Rights PPVs. Given the conceit of the shows, I think the uniformity looks good, though a lot of the guys look really odd wrestling in t-shirts.
