I would certainly like to read your version of a Rumble with that roster! That should be nuts.

I haven't started writing out any of my matches yet, but I have laid out the booking for three big shows and two "best bouts" DVDs...

I think I'll have sufficient time to write up one show per month, if life doesn't throw me too many more curve balls.

My wife fell off her bike and shattered her elbow late last month and she is still in a full-arm cast after the operation. That has shaken things up quite a bit, but we are getting into a new routine now.

That's brutal and hard to deal with. Your stuff seems interesting, hope you can find time to write it.

This project has become a very welcome distraction from worrying about her... which may in part be why I sometimes get impatient wanting things to keep moving forward.

Is everyone cool with using undrafted jobbers in order to do squashes on weekly TV building to major cards?

I'd say anyone not drafted is up for grabs and it's fine if multiple promotions use the same guys. Like does anyone care if Tony Zane appears as a jobber more than once?

I'm totally cool with that. If Steve Lombardi travels the world putting people over, so be it.

Oh, and if you've posted a fed and I haven't told you it looks rad as fuck already - it looks rad as fuck. I can't wait to see how these turn out.

Here I thought we were just booking a single supercard, and now you all are preparing weekly television!!

I'm not doing weekly tv, if that helps.

Yeah Im doing monthly, maybe bi-monthly shows.

I'm doing about 15 chapters with three shows in their somewhere or 2 bigger matches, then one final show.

It's still one big card, but I know in my case it's the storylines that will make it interesting rather than just posting "Sting vs. Luger" "Sid vs. Warrior" "Jarrett & Fuller vs. Moondogs", etc... Hence the weeks of buildup I'll be posting.

I think my point was missed....

Hahaha. I got it!

I am also going to do multiple shows, but not weekly TV. My write ups are going to basically be like if the DVDVR crew uncovered some legendary shows on handheld that were previously thought to be lost in time.

I think my issue is that there is no logical way people from different times can be in the same promotion, so I needed some kind of hook to make it make sense to me.

Pretty sure all of my stuff is going to be traded VCR tapes of incomplete matches and fuzzy broadcasts.

That is probably the most realistic way to represent late-80s/early-90s pro wrestling fandom

And Houston, to be honest.

I love everything I've seen so far. If you wanted to build to your supershow I can see doing that. My time is taken up with the PR stuff I do, so I did not join. But I look forward to seeing all of your efforts!

Chapter two is up, this is fun to write.

By the way, everybody's stuff looks great, sorry I've been so busy I haven't commented. Life is HECTIC right now.

I'd say to get your voting show posted by December 31st.

Then we can have fun with more booking from there until May and then Run round 2

Is this still the plan? To have everyone post a big show by the 31st then we vote on the best one?

I've got like 10 more weeks of TV to build up the event, but I've lost the motivation to write out longer recaps.

I have no problem doing a post with quick summaries followed by my big show in January.
