WrestlingPower
This week's show is the best in a while. Cornette shares some thoughts on Ox Baker & seems in a good mood. Then his co-author Mark James joins the show to discuss Memphis/Louisville wrestling history.
kayfabe1984
Really enjoyed the past few episodes, the interviews with Brian Elliott and Sean Wheelock were very good.
Cobra Commander
"Glen Campbell looks like shit" has to be one of the more random tasteless/hilarious outbursts possible. rovert
Time mark 29:30 for the Lance interview. Â Seems in much better form than he did in his last Observer interview.

Bix
No Bix or Pete run ins will do wonders for you. Â Bryan's phone system wasn't working correctly that day, FWIW.
El-P
Listening to some old Drive Thru, I'm surprised nobody mentionned how Alice said Mark Henry has been cutting awesome monster promos for the past few years. That alone should get her a free pass for life around this place.
WrestlingPower
Alice Radley has quit the show over Cornette's Muslim rant last week. So for those anti-Alice, it could be time for you to come back to the listenership. I guess we will see how much religion & politics is on the show going forward without her as it really seemed like they fed off each other on those topics. TravJ1979
Did she quit or is she just sitting out until new shows start in January?

WrestlingPower
She quit, it was explained that even though it was clear that she disagreed with what Cornette said, she thought just being a party to a show with him could be taken as tacit approval & she didn't want to do it anymore. MikeCampbell
Alice put up her side of the story on RWR in a six minute podcast called "I Quit." The combo of Jim's Muslim rant, dealing with assholes on social media, and the fact that nobody listened to RWR even though that was her true passion, caused her to decide enough was enough. pantherwagner
Good, she was terrible. She always had to get her shit in, and even though nobody listens the shows because of her she never got the message. Â MLW has got some pretty good shows (Kevin Sullivan's memory is amazing in its detail) but they have some terrible hosts and guests in others. Jingus
I thought Radley was just fine. She was basically just the Ed McMahon anyway, Cornette did the vast majority of the talking. Â Alice put up her side of the story on RWR in a six minute podcast called "I Quit." The combo of Jim's Muslim rant, dealing with assholes on social media, and the fact that nobody listened to RWR even though that was her true passion, caused her to decide enough was enough.Anybody got a link to that? The episode isn't listed on her Stitcher account, and I don't use Itunes.
MikeCampbell
I think it's gone. She took down the entire RWR site and every link I can find winds up being dead.
thebrainfollower
This must be a glorious day for Parv. His Lex Luthor is gone
MikeCampbell
JC addressed this on his last podcast. He had apologized to Alice for making her uncomfortable, and admitted that he was purposely overdoing it to make for entertaining radio and to mess with her. He didn't have anything negative to say about her, which means that he must not have heard the I Quit podcast. She didn't mention him by name, but made mention of dealing with 'closet racists' and also only named MVP and Alex Greenfield as people she had nothing negative to say about. Â I listened to the Muslim rant again tonight, and there are a few times that you can tell that Jim is trying to have a little fun.
jpchicago23
Damn am I glad she's off the show but MSL is no better. That dude is a know it all but never done any type. And yes I realize he's a wrestler or promoter but you'd think he was a 5x world champ the way he acts
DownNDirtyTN
I didn't like Radley but I just mostly overlooked her. It was more of that impression that she gave me that she thought she was being cute/funny sometimes and it was anything but. Overall though I could just tune her out more often than not when listening to one of Cornette's shows. Â I love listening to Sullivan most of the time. But I absolutely agree about MSL. I know that not everyone can have the wrestling knowledge that some on here have but to listen to Sullivan giving MSL verbal blowjobs about what a brilliant mind he has makes me scratch my head. I know I've listened to several shows where he talks about a guy and said well I really never watched much of him and thought Jesus Christ dude. You couldn't have been a fan of wrestling. It's one thing maybe to not know the ins and outs of guys like Doug Somers, Jack Victory, or Al Perez but to not know nor have watched some of the legends that he continuously overlooks is mind numbing. WrestlingPower
Wow, I didn't realize Alice had like quit the internet. I thought it was just Jim's show. Can't say I'm all that upset though. I agree she always seemed kind of self-important & thought people cared what she had to say. One good thing that should come out of this is MSL seems to try to steer Jim back toward wrestling whereas Alice kind of enabled Jim to go further down the rabbit holes on his religion & politics rants. WrestlingPower
Great news that Brian Last will be replacing MSL as co-host. Not that I minded MSL on here.
ChuckScumm
https://drive.google.com/folderview?id=0BwOGUwLkRtP6blpvbmhhTWxNZHc# Â You can find her quitting rant there. All I can say is wow, what a maroon.
Jingus
She's pretty honest about everything. She was never a huge wrestling fan, she saw the show as an opportunity for exposure. And when it stopped being fun and didn't help move the needle on her side project that she was really passionate about, she decided to quit. She's a little whiny in how she phrases it, but otherwise I don't see much reason to hate her.
BigBadMick
I don't hate her, but I think she's more than a little whiny (and unrealistic) about expecting wrestling fans to follow her anywhere else.
