hammerva Posted August 18, 2014 Report Posted August 18, 2014 Lesnar beating Cena in 2 minutes would have been perfect Quote
sek69 Posted August 18, 2014 Report Posted August 18, 2014 Brock mauling dudes with Heyman marking out at ringside is everything great about pro wrestling. Quote
Guest Eduardo James Posted August 18, 2014 Report Posted August 18, 2014 I don't want to be that guy, but the kid yelling Let's Go Cena is obnoxious. Quote
Migs Posted August 18, 2014 Report Posted August 18, 2014 They had me with that F5 - felt like it'd be a brilliant bit of booking. Quote
hammerva Posted August 18, 2014 Report Posted August 18, 2014 Man Cena's neck and back is going to sore like hell tonight Quote
sek69 Posted August 18, 2014 Report Posted August 18, 2014 They need to have a kid doing the "stop, stop he's already dead" bit. Quote
Johnny Sorrow Posted August 18, 2014 Report Posted August 18, 2014 Brock's sweating like a whore in church. Quote
Stiva Posted August 18, 2014 Report Posted August 18, 2014 Putting 4 German announcers at ringside to call a match built around German Suplexes is amazing. Quote
Matt D Posted August 18, 2014 Report Posted August 18, 2014 The animated gif back and forth between Lesnar's grinning ogre face and Cena's beat up face in the corner will be amazing. Quote
hammerva Posted August 18, 2014 Report Posted August 18, 2014 Brock's sweating like a whore in church.  Brock is sweating off about 2 or 3 months of steroids in this match. No way he can fail a drug test  Charles Robinson has a look on his face like he is witnessing a murder.  Look at the puddles of sweat on the ring. It is like a rainfall  Was that adam Sandler playing the role of the shocked fan Quote
Jmare007 Posted August 18, 2014 Report Posted August 18, 2014 Yeah, Reigns gonna get historically shitted on if he faces Brock at Mania. Â Â LOVED the main event. Fuck, now I REALLY wanna see Brock vs Bryan. Quote
Stiva Posted August 18, 2014 Report Posted August 18, 2014 I, kind of don't know what to think about that. I mean, it was entertaining as hell but completely surreal to see Cena mauled like that again. Â Also, how the hell do they build someone to beat Lesnar for the belt? It seems like absolutely nobody will be ready for Mania. I guess the only way out is Plan Cena... Quote
stomperspc Posted August 18, 2014 Report Posted August 18, 2014 So Brock needs to hold the title, run through a couple more guys like he did Cena, and drop it to Reigns at WM, right? Quote
Matt D Posted August 18, 2014 Report Posted August 18, 2014 After this, they have to do Cena again, basically. If it had been more even then it would have been another story but they have to let Cena get revenge now Quote
goodhelmet Posted August 18, 2014 Author Report Posted August 18, 2014 John Cena vs. Brock Lesnar - I thought this was awesome in every single way. The crowd heat was through the roof. The shock F5 in the beginning. The torture Brock gave Cena. Laughing after the FU. The ground and pound with the clever uppercut to his mouth when Cena was covering his head to protect against the blows. I really want to mention how great those released German are compared to the rolling Germans. Man, Lesnar just mauled Cena. Not as great as the first match, not even close, but very entertaining. Quote
cowboy hats Posted August 18, 2014 Report Posted August 18, 2014 Sweet job by the network skipping ahead to show Lesnar holding Cena for the F5. Not sure how much I missed. Went from Lesnar getting out of the STF, punching Cena, then skipping ahead to the F5. Took a little bit out of the finish I was looking for. Â Good to see them play this clean, though. Didn't know how they could have Cena survive that mauling. Quote
tim Posted August 18, 2014 Report Posted August 18, 2014 Well, that was an interesting spectacle and an effective piece of booking. But am I the only one who was expecting a great match and is pretty disappointed? Quote
Childs Posted August 18, 2014 Report Posted August 18, 2014 I loved the mocking Undertaker sit-up as well. Quote
Steenalized Posted August 18, 2014 Report Posted August 18, 2014 That was beautiful in its simplicity and uniqueness. Quote
Fantastic Posted August 18, 2014 Report Posted August 18, 2014 It was uncomfortable watching. Â Yes, Cena was probably quite foolish to take those brutal German suplexes with his neck history. Quote
Superstar Sleeze Posted August 18, 2014 Report Posted August 18, 2014 They went for the Broncos/Seahawks match. Not a great match per se, but an incredibly gripping story for the long term. I love the commitment to Lesnar and think this opens up some real interesting possibilities for Cena. Quote
