khawk20
When Greg Gagne came in and attacked Brody and Kaissie in the St. Paul Civic Center at the end of the Blackwell-Brody death match in the Fall of 1984, the Gagne-Blackwell standoff afterwards, and then their embrace, burying years of their own blood feud, combined with Greg returning after being out since April, caused a pop that almost blew the roof off of the building. I was not there live but I know people that were and they said it was incredible.

Grimmas
There is a lot of pops in history that are huge, but I can't believe anybody thinks any pop is larger than the Hart Foundation and especially Bret Hart at Canadian Stampede. SmartMark15
CM Punk for all of MITB 2011. The whole build and that night transformed him into a superstar.
Alucard
Luger's '97 WCW Title win over Hogan on Nitro. I really loved Shane O Mac's return a couple years ago. Amazing reaction and a rare true genuine shocker surprise where there were no rumors about or anything leading up to it.
sek69
Austin coming out to help Mankind beat Rock for the WWF title on Raw in January 1999 was one of the largest single pops I've ever seen.
...TG
If you're going for sheer weight of numbers, when Stone Cold's music hit at WM 32 at Cowboys Stadium is certainly up there.
gordi
The very first Royal Rumble, on free TV, in 1988: Bret and Tito start out. Butch Reed is in at #3. Niedhardt at #4, and the three heels gang up on Tito and really beat him down. Then comes the hyuuuuge pop as Jake "The Snake" Roberts gets his "here comes the cavalry" moment as entrant #5. That was awesome. That's when you knew you made the right decision watching the Rumble instead of Bunkhouse Stampede.
Coffey
First thing that came to mind was when Hulk Hogan "Hulked Up" against The Rock at Wrestlemania 18. The crowd lost their minds.

MoS
Austin returning at Unforgiven 2000 is one of the biggest pops ever, despite the fact that they fucked with perfection and modified his theme song. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z5JprJGEmfs (Sound quality is not great, which kind of defeats the purpose, but it is still good enough) I am a huge Austin fan so obviously I am biased, but it is incredible just how many ridiculously huge pops he received during his run at the top. peachchaos
Austin really does trump all for this thread. The pop he got at Rupp Arena the night after Survivor Series 1998 when he came out for a rematch with The Rock after dropping the belt to him the night before will never be topped as a live experience for me. JKWebb
I was there for WM 32, and I've never heard anything like it. The first thing I think of when even hearing the term pop... is the glass breaking and the eruption of crowds so many different times throughout his career. I also want to second Canadian Stampede and CM Punk MITB 2011. Those three really stand out for me.
Superstar Sleeze
I agree with Sek, the first pop that came to my mind was the pop Austin gets for coming out to help Mankind is insane because it is NOT just the noise, it is the visual of every single person POPPING out of their seat too. The same formula works for Backlash 2000 for both Austin's interference and The Rock's eventual victory.

KawadaSmile
Hashimoto's entrance against Takada at NJPW Battle Formation '96 is fucking incredible. Hulk Hogan at the Hall of Fame! Or Hogan that night at Montreal where they had to go to a break because they popped for 5 minutes. That pop for Hogan in Montreal was insane and is on the short list of biggest pops ever. I really think Hogan got bigger reactions during that little nostalgia tour in 2002 than he did during that 80s run. Of course it wasn't sustainable but still. As far as best pops go, I will pile on the Austin run in during the Mankind title win in 99. The place really comes unglued.
