KawadaSmile Posted October 3, 2019 Author Report Posted October 3, 2019 Man, HHH is keeping Shayna as champion as a rib
Jmare007 Posted October 3, 2019 Report Posted October 3, 2019 All that matters to me is that Roman/Bryan vs Bludgeon Brothers gets 20 minutes on PPV. I hope Rock actually shows up in Staples and isn't via satellite on Friday. I'll miss the show live but I'll check it out on Saturday mourning, would be cool if I don't feel the need to skip most of it.

FMKK Posted October 4, 2019 Report Posted October 4, 2019 Can't say I like this very much at all on first impression
SirEdger Posted October 4, 2019 Report Posted October 4, 2019 I like it. Nice throwback to the original set with the arches.
Stiva Posted October 4, 2019 Report Posted October 4, 2019 I really hope those arches open and close like the old Saturday Night set
NintendoLogic Posted October 4, 2019 Report Posted October 4, 2019 Between the wrestling war heating up, WWE swimming in money, and the Saudi prince calling the shots, I've got a feeling we're going to see a lot more former stars miraculously cleared to return to the ring.
FMKK Posted October 4, 2019 Report Posted October 4, 2019 Another Edge match is really not something anyone needs to see
SirEdger Posted October 4, 2019 Report Posted October 4, 2019 I don't expect this to be a regular thing for Edge. I wouldn't be shocked to have him work Survivor Series in one of those traditional 5-on-5 matches. At the very least, WWE will limit the time he spends in the ring, even for one match.

I mean, he was risking total paralysis if he worked only one more match, and now he's medically cleared ? I bet Daniel Bryan wishes that AEW thingy had come up way earlier...
sek69 Posted October 4, 2019 Report Posted October 4, 2019 Yeah it's weird that a guy who had to retire immediately or risk catastrophic injury suddenly is cleared. Maybe he got some of those magic Rey Misterio stem cells?
FMKK Posted October 4, 2019 Report Posted October 4, 2019 Money talks and Blood Money Mania talks louder than anyone.
El-P Posted October 4, 2019 Report Posted October 4, 2019 Well, hopefully WWE is not putting someone in danger because they are desperate for ratings in their attempt to crush any kind of opposition.
C.S. Posted October 4, 2019 Report Posted October 4, 2019 The new Smackdown set is really nice, unlike Raw.

Well they released that statement congratulating AEW and said the real winners are the fans so golly it couldn't be that!
Slasher Posted October 4, 2019 Report Posted October 4, 2019 Because it definitely isn't possible for a guy to heal up after being away for over 5 years...
C.S. Posted October 5, 2019 Report Posted October 5, 2019 Well, was Edge ever a draw? Asking sincerely. I'd be most interested in another E&C run, but that won't happen for many reasons - not including the big one, that Christian was forced onto the shelf by WWE against his will (IMO).
...TG Posted October 5, 2019 Report Posted October 5, 2019 God damn that pop for Rock was something else.
sek69 Posted October 5, 2019 Report Posted October 5, 2019 Side effect of SD being on network TV I forgot about until now: Fox doesn't allow me to stream from my iPad unless I'm on my home network. Guess it will be the DVR when I get home from work for me!
...TG Posted October 5, 2019 Report Posted October 5, 2019 Like Stone Cold's segment on the MSG Raw, it might be a mistake putting Rock on first. Gonna burn out the crowd.
Strummer Posted October 5, 2019 Report Posted October 5, 2019 Super fun opening segment but it dragged a little towards the end. Becky gets the rub from Rock
FMKK Posted October 5, 2019 Report Posted October 5, 2019 Surely they have to let Rock and Austin interact, even in a backstage skit
