NintendoLogic
Or he really wants the case to go to arbitration because he's terrified of what might come out in a trial. Given his attorney's previous statements, it seems likely he'll flip right back around on Vince if it does go to trial.
fxnj
He probably realized how badly his case would fall apart trying to claim Vince forced him to do things to Janel when they were alone in a hotel room. Sleazy as hell, but much less stupid than trying to claim he's a victim.
El-P
Logan Paul main-eventing the Bloodmoney show. I can't.
The Thread Killer
Nothing new. Logan Paul was in the Main Event of Crown Jewel 2022 against Reigns. That was actually the match where I discovered Logan Paul was actually pretty damn good. (I freely admit I didn’t really know who he was, prior to that match.) El-P
I know it's nothing new. It just cracks me up that the biggest dirtbag in the company now that Vince is gone (well, one could only hope) is always the go-to-guy to main event BloodmoneyMania. It's so fucking fitting. Out of all of them, it has to be the stereotypical crypto-scam/below-than-zero-ethic influencer.
NintendoLogic
The Saudis might as well just buy WWE outright at this point.

Now this is an entire new level. Just a few weeks after Nick Khan was stating that the big 5 (or four, whatever it is) would stay in the US. I dunno, sure, Vince is gone and all, but WWE turning its main focus into being a sporstwashing league for the Saudis is making the entire company look really fucking bad still. KawadaSmile
I think it's a matter of time, really. When you look at how Saudi Arabia was going in heavy with their Saudi Pro League Big 4 becoming Publi Investment Fund subsidiaries AND how they essentially bought Newcastle, them going over to other sports and or entertainment venues seems like a no-brainer. I expect them to start dipping their toes into some G-League or Minor League clubs in the near future.
NintendoLogic
This doesn't necessarily mean criminal charges are imminent, but it's obviously a huge development.
SirEdger
A huge development that could eventually become moot if Trump gets elected in the White House again. He'll 100% pardon Vince.

Makes perfect sense, though, that two career criminals with zero moral compass like Trump and Vince would be friends.

The funny thing is Vince went out of his way to make sure Trump wasn't referenced on TV while he was in office.

Because Vince cares more about business than his "friendship" with Trump or anyone else - at least when it's convenient for him to care more about business. Remember when Kane was "the smartest guy in the locker room" because he read books? Now I just feel embarrassed for him. An empty-minded talking head completely pandering to his base. That's up to you, I guess. "I never met Vince, and I know 11 people that he slept with—eight of them women, all consenting adults, so which is the implication to [the others being men]" "He would hold their careers over him, just like he would the women. It was the same thing. You get paid more, you get pushed more. This is not a secret in the industry. Like, I'm not talking trash. This was very well known. But, I mean, Shawn Michaels, like guys that you would know there was ... " And some more of the same in the article.
Coffey
How on earth did Indianapolis of all places get Royal Rumble, SummerSlam AND WrestleMania, all three? I used to live in Indiana, that's crazy. I hope some of my friends from back in Indiana get to go to any of these shows. This will be after WWE is officially on Netflix, too. Downtown Indy is basically built around huge gatherings and conventions, an international airport with direct flights from all over the world, huge stadium with a retractable roof so weather isn't an issue. I'm not far from Indianapolis so Royal Rumble may be my first PPV. Was hoping to get to SummerSlam but that wasn't in the cards this year. JRH
So the American Nightmare trademark was apparently owned by someone else: https://www.f4wonline.com/news/wwe/cody-rhodes-wwe-fanatics-sued-over-american-nightmare-trademark/ Given how iconic the name is now, I can definitely see WWE settling or even trying to buy the rights to the name. NintendoLogic
Regardless of the merits of the original trademark infringement claim, it looks like Cody failed to live up to the terms of the agreement he had previously reached with the guy. In that respect, it's similar to the WWF's legal dispute with the Word Wildlife Fund. Also, the Misfits song American Nightmare is nearly 40 years old, so I figured Glenn Danzig or someone else would have trademarked it long before this guy.
