FLIK
So uhhhh yeah, kinda sorta signed up for a local pro wrestling school yesterday, I start training on Thursday. If by some miracle I actually manage to survive and ever have a match I am so going to no sell 25 burning hammers in a row and then win with a school boy.... ....sooooo yeah....again...1 year later and I made my debut last Saturday as Big Benjamin Johnson. Same day Kobashi retired, sadly I failed on my promise to no sell even 1 burning hammer and I lost via getting kicked in the head
Superstar Sleeze
I don't know if this has already been posted as it might have been buried in this very thread, but Bob Caudle is producing a documentary about Mid-Atlantic Wrestling from the 60s, 70s and 80s. I know so little of JCP/Mid-Atlantic pre-1983 that this could be a really cool film if done properly for me to watch. They are in the fundraising portion of the venture. Log
Same here. I think I'm out of town that weekend. If the TPI actually happens, I may have to hit that up. (This was a reply to the IWAMS thing up there. Thought I quoted, but didn't.)

Not bad at all for a first effort Agreed. Solid match for what they were trying to do, especially considering it was Big Benjamin Johnson's debut. Guest Nell Santucci
I noticed in today's Observer update that Caleb Konley is booked to work for Evolve. He's a nice guy, but he gets the honor of having worked the worst match I've ever seen. He made me embarrassed to be a wrestling fan for about thirty minutes after the match. khawk20
I don't know where else to put this but is everyone still using IE having problems attaching files to any/all of their email addresses? I can't send out lists and whatnot and it's pissing me off to no end. IE is pparently looking for a fix because it seems to be a problem for a lot of people in the last few weeks. ...and, um, to keep this pissed off-ramble post at least a little bit wrestling-related, buy my Mad Dog Comp. It's pretty good.
Mini Bennett
Indy wrestling fans rejoice: Big Japan just announced Sami Callihan wont be appearing for them because he signed with WWE. Really smart signing, IMO. I think Sami's immediate success will come from him being able to talk and talk well, at the age of 26. It shouldn't be a problem for him to get over on TV and his rough edges I imagine will be straightened out in developmental no problem.

You have to feel for Sami if you follow him on Social Media you would know his father is or has been on death's door. He regularly asks for prayer for him. Going through WWE medicals, screening tests etc is stressful enough. Interested to see how his 60 minute PWG Iron Man pans out with Adam Cole. rovert
Funker broke his retirement: Former NWA and ECW World champion Terry Funk returned to the ring last night as a surprise at a 2CW event in Gloversville, NY. Funk had been advertised as confronting former ROH champion Kevin Steen at the event. Spike Dudley was advertsed to face Jason Axe, who was with Steen. Funk came out to confront Steen, turning it into an impromptu tag match with Funk and Steen brawling on the floor and out of the venue. The finish saw Spike and Funk use stereo spinning toeholds to win.
