If there is any truth to the "return of the six-man tag titles" rumor, I'm in full support of it. I've always enjoyed tag matches but in the past few years I've become a fan of six (or more) man tags. There was a big one on an episode of Raw from (I think) 2011 that really showcased how over they can get with the live crowd and it helps keep the booking from falling into the trap of trading wins on Raw and Smackdown and then having a PPV match without a ton of heat. Monday's episode of Raw had another six-man which was really fun.

I really enjoyed the Main Event match between The Shield and the Wyatts, which planted the previous thought in my head. I hope Ambrose was just selling and didn't actually hurt his ribs. My fingers are crossed for War Games at Extreme Rules (although I'm trying not to get too hopeful about it).

Battleground is in June this year. If they ever do a War Games, then that would probably be the time to do it. I think the more likely scenario is Shield-Batista/Orton/Kane and HHH-Bryan. I imagine the six-man will be no holds barred and the title match will be LMS. That's my prediction for now.

My dream match would be a NJPW vs. War level tag. It would be Bryan/Cena/Shield/Usos vs. Evolution/Wyatts/Kane. Preferably in an elimination tag.

Layla debuted on SD as Fandango's new valet. I guess they want to push Summer Rae and all Total Divas are presented as faces

oh and this:

Triple H @TripleH 2h

Don't worry, @WWERomanReigns, @WWERollins & @TheDeanAmbrose. I know all your names. I'll spell them right in your obituaries. #MainEvent

There's a chance he was supposed to appear at Mania towards the end of the show, but it got cut when he went to the hospital with Taker. That wasnt reported anywhere, but it would make sense. I will say from the picture of him backstage with Warrior, it looks like he's aged another ten years since he was last on TV.

Check out Shield/Wyatts from The Main Event last night if you get a chance. It's a great match, gets about 20-25 minutes to work with.

Great match I don't now, but very good at worst, and tons of fun. Yeah, it's me watching (and praising no less) WWE C-shows matches in 2014 after saying HHH was a big part of why WM was enjoyable to me. Hell is freezing over.

Do they still air Main Event on Ion?

That contract expired, it's running on the network now.

I agree that great is a bit strong. Their first two were great, this one was "merely" very good. Totally worth watching.

According to Meltz people backstage were in awe about how good Heyman's promo was on Monday. Getting rave reviews

If nothing else, it kinda makes them look stupid, no? I mean fuck, how many years does Heyman have to be amazing to impress someone? Who are the people that were still on the fence?

Just watched Main Event and that six man was incredible. Every member of those groups should have a massive future, Rowan/Harper should get themselves into the tag title picture. What a brilliantly worked match, so exciting, so smart, everything looked fantastic, the timing was perfect. Dean Ambrose was the MVP for me, what an face in peril performance, his bumping was the best I've seen from anyone this year. His scrapy offence really suits being a FIP as well, and Reigns and Rollins are both ridiculously explosive as the hot tag. The little kids chanting 'let's go Ambrose' made me smile - from garbage wrestler to Saturday morning kids favorite, what a versatile guy.

Great promo by Roman Reigns at the end, too, showed the natural charisma and skill at working a crowd that was so lacking in the last generation of pushed talent. Swagger, Del Rio and Sheamus are so forced and stolid when compared to these guys. They have to be working towards Roman Reigns beating Brock Lesnar for the belt at Wrestlemania 31.

Yeah, it was superb, but it's not like he hasn't been giving great promos every week for nearly 2 years.

Actually, I think heyman has given a lot of plodding, boring promos over the last year, probably because he was hyping Curtis Axel which can't be the easiest job. Last monday was a real return to form.

I don't know if this played a part, but Vince apparently feels WWE needs a younger "face" and that's why Stephanie and HHH have been the more visible ones for a while.

I respect their "youth initiative " that caused them to force Finlay out of the ring a little more now if Vince is including himself.
