goc
The fuck was that finish to the main event? Could Bray be the most overrated and inconsistent character they have on TV? Yes. I've seen people talking about how his character has just recently jumped the shark and I'm like he did that at Extreme Rules 3 years ago with that stupid finish to the John Cena cage match. His character has always been lame as hell.
sek69
Catching up on SD on the DVR, and having Naomi's name in blacklight reactive paint on the side plates of the belt is a nice touch I didn't expect them to think about.
stro
Tye being on SD means the feud with Sanity can finally die, so I'm happy about that Shane seems like such an awkward dude on Talking Smack
Jimmy Redman
As a fan, I'm wondering if Tye getting a run on SD and making main roster money for a few years is worth the pain of never seeing him get that one big win on a Takeover that had been building for like 2 years. Mike's promo might have been the first time I have actually liked him.
stro
Getting that one big win in the opener at Takeover. The world really missed out on that special moment. It's not like this dude was getting a Bayley/Sami storyline. His entire role was to be a likable jobber to the indie/TNA/Japan stars. Rah
Tye getting a "promotion" to the main leagues after finally winning would be a good moment for his fans, but the backstory is there and they could build off that in him finally securing a victory in a much deeper pond that's more out of his league. stro
Well, when he beats Aiden English on Main Event in a few weeks, you'll get that big moment.
Matt D
Tye's going to be the Smackdown Sami Zayn, solid worker with an unbreakable connection to the crowd who they can use to put over new heels.
Grimmas
Those two NXT call ups really helps SD going forward, although I am worried about the draft fucking SD over.
Loss
I hope I'm not the only one who sees massive potential in Reigns and the revived Usos being on the same show.
Grimmas
That trios running the show would be the vest ever!
stro
Tye's going to be the Smackdown Sami Zayn, solid worker with an unbreakable connection to the crowd who they can use to put over new heels. You mean doing what he's been doing for the past year but on SD instead of NXT? I give him 4 months before he's not even on SD for weeks at a time. Matt D
I think he'll have more legs than that in that role. I guess we'll just have to see.
Jmare007
Man I hope the "superstar shakeup" has Rusev going to SD.
WingedEagle
I hope I'm not the only one who sees massive potential in Reigns and the revived Usos being on the same show. You are not. Lot of promise there. Only concern is that there aren't too many matchups that really intrigue me. Presumably Wyatt & Orton at some point -- the former could be interesting without the hocus pocus, while the latter will undoubtedly happen and likely be underwhelming. Nakamura should be terrific if/when. Perhaps Miz at some point, although it doesn't feel like an ideal prolonged feud but I'm open to having my mind changed. He might have some real chemistry with Ambrose. Who else am I missing?
The Chief
Simon Gotch had been released, mutually agreed. Can't say that's a surprise.
stro
What's Dean Thesz doing in the Impact Zone?
The Thread Killer
I don't much like Aiden English's odds of having a successful career in WWE without Gotch around. Not that he had much of one with Gotch around. I wonder if they're going to reboot the Vaudevillians, or just let him languish in some new lower card stable like 3MB or The Social Outcasts or something. C.S.
Meet the newest member of The Vaudevillians (my guess anyway):
PeteF3
It's been speculated that English is pretty set for as long as he wants, since he's engaged (or married) to Eddie Guerrero's daughter, and Vince more or less promised to take care of the Guerrero family. Jimmy Redman
Politely requesting Aiden English, Musical Theater Performer please and thank you.
Grimmas
Aiden English forming some kind of team with Curt Hawkins would be really cool. A great, new age, JTTS tag team. This decades version of Power & Glory.
goc
Meet the newest member of The Vaudevillians (my guess anyway): No idea why people are saying this, I've also seen it multiple times on twitter. They've done way more with Jack Gallagher in the little time that he's been in WWE than they ever did with the Vaudevillains. They're not sticking him in that dumb dead end tag team. Mrzfn
Because he's old timey and would fit in easily with the gimmick. I'm not saying they WILL put him there, but that's why people are saying it.
sek69
Plus the joke when he debuted was he looked like Simon Gotch and Conan O'Brien had a baby.
