Slasher Posted July 15, 2013 Report Posted July 15, 2013 If Batista agrees to come back, it seems like that would be a major shakeup. HHH has to be thinking Lesnar vs Batista. That is a big time match for sure but Batista is better off doing a variation of the bulky beast version of the Ric Flair heel character, especially like his last six months in the company when he was feuding with Rey and Cena.
tigerpride Posted July 15, 2013 Report Posted July 15, 2013 HHH is talking to Batista about a return That's not a confirmed story of Triple H being a total douchebag, Brody.
anarchistxx Posted July 15, 2013 Report Posted July 15, 2013 Batista would certainly make things interesting, although to be honest there aren't too many fresh feuds for him with the current roster. Brock Lesnar and The Rock are the only really appealing things he could do; nobody wants to see another series with Orton, Cena or HHH.
Alucard Posted July 16, 2013 Report Posted July 16, 2013 Story originated as an infamous "wrestlezone exclusive" @DaveBautista "Holy shit!! Im in negotiations with HHH to go back to the WWE! Apparently Im asking for a short term contract! I hope I asked for big money! Please let me know when Im going back! And what I said to HHH. Id like to know. I feel left out! #rumors Not that it wouldn't be nice...just don't want anyone to buy into bullshit rumors. I haven't talked to Hunter. And Im tied down for awhile"
benj Posted August 13, 2013 Report Posted August 13, 2013 I think tonight's Raw sums up every reason why HHH is a douchebag.
Stiva Posted August 13, 2013 Report Posted August 13, 2013 As soon as they realised Cena/Bryan was a hot program, I was waiting for HHH to latch on to it. I hope they manage to keep any silliness with the finish confined on Sunday as they're teasing a big clusterfuck of an ending.
anarchistxx Posted August 13, 2013 Report Posted August 13, 2013 HHH goes heel and screws Bryan out of the title. They then have a program going into the fall/winter where Trips takes away all of Bryan's momentum, and then the big DB Wrestlemania 30 push that was the logical ending is dropped and HHH instead has the marquee match on the show. Too cynical?
Slasher Posted August 13, 2013 Report Posted August 13, 2013 I am thinking similar to what they did two years ago- Bryan defeats Cena, Orton cashes in and HHH counts the pinfall a little bit too excitedly. DB takes offense and does a program with the boss HHH where HHH tells him he has to prove himself to him.

Bix Posted August 18, 2013 Report Posted August 18, 2013 After Ric Flair put one of his HOF rings on Reid's finger before they closed the casket and gave the other to David as a way to keep Reid's memory alive, HHH gave a Ric a new HOF ring with Reid's name inscribed on it. WHAT A DOUCHEBAG.
Matt D Posted August 18, 2013 Report Posted August 18, 2013 Is it to jaded too respond with "Didn't cost him anything personally?" Because I'm kind of tempted to. Don't get me wrong. It's a terribly nice gesture in and of itself.

WHAT A DOUCHEBAG. HHH doing something nice doesn't make him not a douchebag

goodhelmet Posted August 18, 2013 Report Posted August 18, 2013 I laughed at this. I am going to hell.
kjh Posted August 19, 2013 Report Posted August 19, 2013 It was probably a relief he hadn't sold them on eBay or used them as collateral to get Fifi The Maid a wedding ring.

Death From Above Posted August 19, 2013 Report Posted August 19, 2013 I booked my seat ages ago but that only confirmed it.
anarchistxx Posted August 19, 2013 Report Posted August 19, 2013 Isn't that typical behavior for the prototypical Kliq Douchebag though? Help your close friends, be generous to the people you love, be loyal to the group - and then manipulate, politic and be a horrible jerk to everyone else.
anarchistxx Posted August 20, 2013 Report Posted August 20, 2013 Fuck me, he really doesn't help himself. The 'Randy Orton Title Coronation' consisted of a (interminably boring) twenty minute HHH promo, with Orton himself relegated to a two minute segment on the mic before Daniel Bryan came out and Trips once again took over. The worst thing was that Vince was ridiculously entertaining in his ninety seconds, before Helmsley bored us all to tears. He needs to get those forehead creases sorted out as well, surely he can afford some surgery.
Loss Posted August 20, 2013 Report Posted August 20, 2013 Just so everyone knows, the line about Daniel Bryan being "a solid B+" was taken directly from a 1998 Observer when Dave described HHH that way. I am endlessly amused by that.
NintendoLogic Posted August 20, 2013 Report Posted August 20, 2013 I thought HHH's promo was pretty good. He sounded like someone who genuinely thought he was doing the right thing while still being kind of a dick. It was about five minutes too long, but that's par for the course when HHH is involved.

I am endlessly amused by that. I now love that line 1000 times more than I originally did. And I loved it last night.
